Yes me too. Got mine from devicewire (still have about 60 in stock if anyone wants one), but then due to a misunderstanding with Clove found out that they are also sending me one out and have already charged my card! Not sure if its coming tomorrow as well, if not I'm hoping I can cancel. I'm not even sure I can afford to go home and be killed by my missus. Still, what she doesnt know wont hurt her. Just need to sell my eee pc and HTC S730 that I bought last week now.

Yeah they have stock although not sure if its for people who have already pre-ordered. Devicewire.com do have 60 free stock (available to everyone). Luckily as I work in mobile technology I can claim that my many devices are 'from work'.
I also have two on order, one from clove and one from expansys-usa. I think the clove will get here first and then I can cancel the one from expansys. This will be the second from expansys that I have canceled.
Managed to cancle my Clove one although wish that had come first as it was cheaper.

HTC Shift in a London Store (INKINO again!!!)
Just a quick heads-up. Inkino have their stock in and also have one HTC Shift out on demo. It is better then I expected. Surfing was very quick and they let me try it with my SIM card so that there was no 'smoke and mirrors'. There is a nice protective case in the box too. The actual box looks like a big box of chocolate so sneaking it past the missus should be a breeze....
I witnessed 5 going out of the door whilst I was there so it is safe to say that this is going to be a hugely popular machine. Any voicecall hacks yet??

Hey guys, i assume that there should be a couple of you guys with the phone already, can you please describe us the accesories that came with the phone?
guys from UK told us that the phone came with a screen protector installed and a spare one, also a 16gb card, but others tell us that there were no screen protector and a 8gb card.
Please tells us how the phone came in the American Continent...
I came close..... I was at futureshop locally to buy one and they claimed they couldn't sell it to me until tomorrow. I showed them the release date online, they weren't convinced. Even showed them it on their own web site and that it was listed as available. They were nice enough to show me the box of one... I'm hoping to head back out shortly to different futureshop, which I called and was told they had no problem selling it to me today. Anyway, according to the inter webs we canadians will have an 8 Gb card only, while the Arc will come with the 16 Gb. I'll hopefully report back later with full contents for you.

As far as accessories go, all I got were a pair of crappy ear buds. As far as the card goes, I didn't check it. There was nothing extra so if I have anything, I'm going to assume it's already in the phone.
Got it this morning. Only 8 gb. Comes with screen protector installed and earphone, cable and charger, no case. Can't disable auto brightness. Paid 20$ and got it unlocked for telus, everythings working fine so far. It takes about 1h to xfer all the crap to a 16gb card (there's a lot of crap, images, html etc). I'll try all the emulators later.

also i bought one from ebay this morning (the last one of 3) the description says it was from Rogers, but unlocked, so i guess this guy use this codes before ship it...
But will confirm once arrives...

What service did you use to get it unlocked?
mobileincanada. Reliable and fast. Used it a few time.
Also can you tell us how much did you pay for it?
Just bought an unlock code. Paid $20. Hoping it works. I'm also going to post a video to erase any skepticism people may have about doing this.
Paid 0$ (a friend renew the contract and trade it to me). FPSE is just SPECTACULAR! Way faster than my T9193 or Dell Streak. Only thing is the screen auto-brightness, as most of you know. Some games just look too dark (Diablo) and needs a fix brightness, or a color adjustment inside FPSE.

Yes the gamepad works great. No success with the analog pad so far. I'm sure FPSE will enable it soon. I'm surprise it's a lot more responsive than I though seeing how people complained about the CPU. Unless the Rogers model is different which I doubt...
Yeah, the phone seems pretty snappy to me overall. Honestly though? I could care less about any minor issues. The fact that this has a slide out gamepad is enough for me to overlook any minor flaws. MAN I'm psyched to have this. Just waiting on my unlock code right now.
Got mine as well. I'm impressed by the smoothness of th UI and the quality of the screen.
I was wondering if any of you had weird behaviors with mp3 files and non stock headphone... The ones supplied are the worst piece of ?'*-) I've came accross in a long time. That's my only complain though.

Sorry I said there was a screen protector. It looked like there is one underneath the protective plastic they put because there is a trasparent material on top of the screen but it might be the design. Just in case someone is not careful and treat it as there is one.
Guys I need your help. Can anyone hold the search button and plug it the usb in a computer while it's off. People are telling me I should get a blue light in the power button but I get nothing! Instead it just shows the sony ericsson lego then the status of the battery. BTW I do have a Canadian xperia play but this one I won.
I'll try when I get home. Search the forums carefully, because I remember someone giving very specific instructions one how to get that blue light and he did it slightly differently. Maybe search "blue light search button" on the Xperia play forums or something, you'll find it.
Picked mine up last night. I am pretty sure that is a preinstalled screen protector we are seeing. Too bad we didn't get the extra one in the box some people have reported. Also only an 8gb card for Canada.

From what i've seen on some unboxing videos. Some people even got an extra usb cable and a free usb car charger.

So the OG Gtv, Logitech Revue just dropped to $99 today. Anybody picking one up? Anyone already have one? At $99 I think it's worth picking up just to play around with and I plan on getting one sometime this week.
If you have one, please let me know what you think about it. Also, are there any good forums for it? None on XDA obviously bc it's not mobile, but surely there's something decent out there.
I picked one up yesterday. I am still not sure how much I like it yet. But at 99, it is a great price just to play around with. Some of the features are pretty cool, the PIP is really nice. It took a while to setup but didn't take to long to figure out how to work it. I am still looking for forums and sites with good info on it.
I would say if you are the tinker type, for 99 bucks you should pick it up.
Thinking of getting one myself. Found a forum that said XDA had a section for it (which I dont see) and someone even mentioned it being rooted. If this is true, its a no brainer and Im running to get one now. Either way though, its supposed to be updated to Android 3.1 by September.

I ordered mine yesterday. Reviews are strong enough overall that for $99 it seemed like a good bet.
Yeah, it has been rooted, but unfortunately, it requires some hardware mods. A bit difficult on the rooting, but probably still fun to play with. It's also due for a gingerbread update soon. I'll check out the forums, probably pick one up soon. I wonder if it has the market, without being rooted?

There's some pretty good info to be found over at the SatelliteGuys forum. Dish Network is somehow partnered up in this unit (I install for Dish as a subcontractor). Actually, it fully integrates ONLY with certain Dish Network DVR receivers. It'll work with most anything out there but if you have the right Dish receiver and are willing to cough up another $4 to a Dish each month, you get some extra bells and whistles that you don't get with any other provider (like DirecTV, the cable company, etc)... at least out of the box that is.
It's a pretty nice unit and it gets better with each update. I've played around with them some and overall I like it, but it's definitely a niche item. We sell that at our office (at least I've seen them in the warehouse). For $99, I think I'll pick one up myself. My wife will just love another toy hooked up to the tv (rolling eyes with an evil grin)!
EDIT - meant to post the link below to the SatelliteGuys forum. The guy starting off the review many months back always has the best and most accurate info. Great guy. There's like 450 posts to wade thru. Like here, the most up to date stuff is at the end. And, just like the Epic, some people love it and others...not so much!

Big, huge warning -- if you're going to root it, you have to do it before powering it up for the first time and allowing it to update. You'll also need a TTL (possibly 3.3v and NOT 5v, which might be a bit harder to pull off without additional level conversion... most of the cheap USB-TTL uart bridges I've seen are 5v i/o) serial port adapter, and willingness to open up and solder wires to your brand new Revue & spend an hour or two working on it before you ever get to play with it for the first time. That said, if you DON'T root it, you won't be able to do anything with it besides be a content-consumer -- there's no market yet, and the only way to push your own APK files to it is if it's rooted. Sigh. And Logitech dares to wonder why they didn't sell many prior to the price drop. If they were both freely rootable & reflashable out of the box, and equally easy to restore to factory-virgin firmware, they probably would have sold way more, if only because there would be six dozen apps by now to spoof browser ids to get past provider blocks and play ISO files straight from a networked hard drive ;-)

I just ordered it from the logitech website for $99 and free 2 day shipping. I can't pass on that deal.
I also find it funny that you can buy a replacement keyboard identical to the one that ships with the revue for $99.

Am i correct by saying that all that these internettv devices like apple tv,googlentv do is put hulu,netflix,youtube on your tv?
Why do i need one if i can just hook up my laptop or ps3 and do same thing.Am i missing something?

Thanks for the head's up, I'm probably going to trade mine in then - I just got an Android ADT-1 (the Android TV Developer's Kit) off of eBay for $120 shipped (with controller and developers cable) and unplugged the OUYA. It was cool when it came out, but it became clear pretty quickly that it was pretty underpowered and under supported. ADT-1 is so much better.

Back up to $81.50 as of right now. I just flashed stock back onto mine before sending and got full credit from amazon 1 day after they received it. mine still had original box, manual, etc - I did NOT include the HDMI cable, and they didn't seem to care.
That's messed up - I ordered an HDMI cable just to have it as "Like New" (which it was) and got docked like $4 saying it was in "good" condition. Even put batteries in the remote, all paperwork, and the "let the revolution begin" card too. Ah well, guess it all depends on who's opening the boxes that day.
I got my phone last night but am most excited for the Gear VR. It is on back order though so it didn't come. Has anyone else received theirs? If so how is it?
I ordered my phone on 2/23, but have not seen it yet. I did, however, receive the Gear VR on 2/24. That was some of the fastest shipping I have ever seen.
My wife has the S6 so we are able to use the VR with that until my phone arrives. I personally haven't put a lot of time in with it, but what I've done with it I really enjoy. The 360 degree videos are pretty amazing. The unit is able to smoothly track the smallest head movement. I haven't really installed games to try because I don't want to eat up all of the space on her phone. No expandable storage on the S6 you know.
Oh, her phone overheats in the VR pretty quickly when watching a 360 video. I'm hoping that the cooling on the S7 is able to handle it, and give some extra time before getting too hot.
I have it for GS6 Edge+ and it's amazing, will certainly blow your mind. Don't expect hd resolutions on videos in the gear vr, we will have to wait for 4k screens for that. There is a great community for the GearVR in Reddit you can go there for great finds, tips, etc.
I am digging the gear vr. Going to take a bit of getting used to.
I got mine with my Verizon s7. I have a Asus zenwatch already. To be honest me and my fiance are completely blown away. I hadn't used vr in modern times. Really is amazing and I can't wait to get it hooked up with Nvidia shield and playing elite dangerous my favorite part game

I got mine Monday at best buy with my phone. Didn't get time to play with it until last night. I have to say, I was extremely impressed and surprised at how cool it is and how well it works. The wife and I had a lot of fun with it last night doing different pictures and videos.
My S7 did get pretty warm but never shut down and everything was smooth and seemed to work well. I might have to get a game to try. If nothing else it will be a cool party toy for the next year lol.
I messed with it a little last night, pretty neat. Then I heard a knock on the door, ups delivered a 2nd VR! So I ended up with 2, all I can figure is that I contacted sprint because I had no order # for the VR and asked them if it was actually placed, and it was. Not sure why I got 2,but I won't complain, lol.

Did I miss something? I have my pre-ordered S7 Edge and my Gear VR. I'm not seeing the 6 game pack. I tried on of the titles on the above list, but it wants me to purchase it. Other than registering when you first use the VR, I haven't done anything special.
