Hello - I am posting this for the more knowledgeable to advise - Is there an international variant - Unlocked, Un Carrier Branded Note 4 - That's US LTE Compatible.
I am not pleased with Samsung bloatware topped by Carrier Bloatware - then further delayed updates.
So that's what the aim is - i.e. Un-Carrier Branded - Just Samsung bloatware.
Thanks for reading this far.

Hi,
I've ordered a samsung a-847 rugby 2 unlocked, at&t branded, with at&t functions(a-gps, PTT, and so on).
I want it because i've had it with my nexus s (and any smartphone, i'd rather have a smart device and a good phone )
The rugby model (like motorola tundra, casio g'zone and so), is only sold with contract in US and parts of Asia, not in Europe (where i am using it).
Checking the specs, i discovered that 3G is compatible with vodafone network, but i wonder, is there any way to flash or setup the device from AT&T to Vodafone, so i could use my Vodafone contract on it's entire functionality?
Thanks
ok..so now i have my phone unlocked, at&t branded with at&t software.
i cannot use the email client because all settings are from at&t, anyone can help me please with advices or links about removing firmware and installing the samsung a-847 firmware so i can operate it on vodafone (or any 3g network)?
Which version is the international version of the Galaxy S5, which will probably have better support and faster release of custom ROMS ?
Thanks,
SM-G900F and SM-G900H
It has already been root'ed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696537
You can also wait for the S5 Google Play Edition which is carrier unlocked and unbranded. The Galaxy S4 Google edition works on AT&T, T-Mobile, and around the world. There’s no contract required, and you can use it on a variety of carriers in the US, and abroad. So, basically, the S5 will work the same.

LTE doesn't work around the world. Only on TMO and ATT US.
Hwy guys I have a verizon note 4 and it is not root able at all. I have been wanting to stick with this great device but I miss root. I miss the freedom and capabilities it unlocked. I have been wondering which variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is permanently rootable ? Is it a different US carriers variant? Or an international one that has this ability? I appreciate the help guys, thanks in advance.
I have the SM-N910F (trltexx) aka. Qualcomm International version and I can do what I want with my device. Why do you Americans have seperate versions of a phone for every carrier and what are the differences? In the rest of the world, the carriers use a SIM-Lock. Since 2-3 months even SIM-Locks are forbidden in the EU.
Hi.
I want to buy a Note 4, the SM-N910W8 model unlocked. I will use it outside of USA and I know its compatible with the carriers.
But what is confusing me is, the SM-N910W8 model is North American but all firmware (eg. on sammobile) points to Canadian providers (rogers, telus, bell, etc). On EBay/Amazon, there are "Verizon" branded SM-N910W8's being sold. And the UPC's for the W8's tend to point to a "Verizon" product, although it has a AT&T title.
So my question is, are there some variants of the SM-N910W8 that run the stock SM-N910V firmware with Verizon bloatware? I'm trying to figure this out. Any screenshots appreciated as I have till Thursday to bid if i want it.
Any help appreciated.

Im on the AT&T network and I'm looking to buy an S8. The samsung website has two choices that would work: the Sim-free Galaxy S8 (SM-G950UZKAXAA) and the AT&T Galaxy S8 (SM-G950UZKAATT). The sim-free model appeals to me because I wouldn't have carrier bloat and I could take the phone to another carrier if I wanted to. However, I've seen some comments that the sim free model gets updates well after the carrier models do and that the sim-free model has weaker reception and you lose out on certain features (volte, wifi-calling, etc.). Could anyone comment on these differences? Thanks

The unlocked one allows you to switch carriers whenever and will get updates faster, the ATT one is a locked one and gets slower updates. ALWAYS buy the Unlocked one, and if you want the ATT one, you can just change the firmware to be that variants.
