Sadly, I had to return it today.
I loved it with all my heart but I barely used it and that didn't justify $426.
Maybe i'll try again next year.
Farewell
(I'll be at the Nexus 6 forum )
Applied for a return too. Loved the design and the hardware, but in actual use it does not justify the price tag.
Maybe I would have kept it if it was like $299, but converted to US dollars I paid around $500 for the 16GB in my current country. Not worth it by a longshot.
I returned mine. To HTC to fix the buttons and the light bleed issues. I was able to get the the 32GB version for 399 with 429 dollar price match at best buy from amazon, and 30 dollars worth of best buy certificates. I absolutely love the tablet, but if HTC doesn't fix the buttons and screen, I'll likely get a refund on it.
Your Loss!
I could see that. I got it for 250 and really enjoy it but don't think it is worth more than 350.

Bought and returned 3x looking for one with reasonable buttons and an acceptable amount of light bleed. To no avail. #3 is also going back, this time for good, until HTC gets some of these quality control issues in check.
It's a shame, because I really want to love this tablet. And I already sold my Nexus 7...

Yes, better battery, but I'm not so sure jb and/or apps running with jb haven't lowered it (iPad 3 ios8.1.1). I borrowed this iPad to try it since N9 quality is still a crap shoot. I love the display size and clarity. That's it. But, since having it for over a week, I scarcely pick up my N7 FHD (I hate the buttons on N7 so recessed buttons on N9 won't do--even using soft buttons). This iPad screen is much easier for me to read. JB was even simpler than with Nexus, but still not what I want. Personally, I think the N9 is about $80. overpriced, but I'll probably end up trying one ($50. off) before long.

My iPad's sit piled up with my iPhone 6 on top. I havent used them in about 2 months.. Don't have my nexus 9 or 6 yet so I can't actually compare. But I am not 75 and don't need to be in a walled garden of sorts (assisted living environment).. IOS is good for non technical people that don't want to really think. I just prefer the customization and unlock ability of android. Don't get me wrong I always stay current with both IOS & Android as they both make strides every OS revision.

I got the N9 to replace my paperweight N7 first gen that I managed to hard bricked doing a factory reset, and the bootloader is borked. Anyway, before the N9, I used my MBP 15" but now N9 travels with me around my house perimeter.

I didn't want to play the lottery with Best Buy, so I sent mine back to HTC with specific instructions on what needed fixing. If they ship it back to me and it's not to my liking, I'll get a refund from Best Buy. I can live without the tablet for 7-10 days, and if they fix it, awesome.

Hey everyone,
yesterday was a tragic day for me as my beloved Vibrant has fallen off my pockets because of my insecurities of not securing it safely after hanging up on a friend. I was washing my car, my friend decides to call me to and asks me if I can go with him to give him some advice for a new android phone since he's going to be joining in the android family. Unfortunately, after hanging up, I get a broken LCD touch screen phone and he gets a new one. So, without further a doo doo. here it is.

I would love to buy a new LCD Touch screen, but for what it's worth $85+, I might as well just get a new phone.
So, any suggestions for phones on a T-Mobile Network?
SGSII
HTC Amaze 4G
HTC One S (waiting on this for now...)
Another vibrant for cheap until sgsiii comes out. The ii isn't worth it in my opinion and the amaze isn't so good. Ive never been a fan of hard So no opinion on that.

Yup SGS 3 is supposed to have LTE support with out sacrificing Exynos and that is amazing..
I got the sgsii and regretted it. I should have kept my vibrant untill the 3 well. If you can afford phones whenever u want get the two but if not get another vibrant for 100-120 ans just use that
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
I would definitely wait until the SGS3 comes out as well... or when it is officially announced at the very least.
you'll find other phones to drop in price by then. personally i wouldn't settle for a "new" phone right now bc they're all generally on the tail end of what the trends have shown
at the very best, you'll end up with a phone that may not be completely LTE capable, a screen's resolution only able to boast up to 960x540, and a battery still in the 1600-1700 mAh range.. seeing that phones in the next few months will all have at least 720p screens, LTE, and better battery life.. i would wait it out
thanks for the input guys. I wanted to wait out for the GSIII to be honest and keep my vibrant till then. Right now I'm using the myTouch 3G/Sapphire I believe... garbage..
I'll wait and see for the GSIII.
I'm the same boat as you bro. I'm using a iphone 3gs while waiting dor the sgs3

If you wanna upgrade on the cheap, I suggest an LG G2X. Dual core, FFC, great support from xda, and its about $225-250 on eBay, and a little bit less on craigslist. This definitely is a great phone with a custom ROM.

wouldn't really call that a reasonable upgrade from the vibrant at that price..
dont mean to bash but having a dual core processor and a FFC for $100+ more over simply replacing a vibrant seems a bit much when a couple months of waiting will provide much greater features for the long haul

Well they were asking about phones like the SGS2 and Amaze, which definitely aren't worth it now. And he's looking for an upgrade, and that would be the most reasonable one, considering the phones ahead. But I can definitely see your point.
I couldn't stand having the Vibrant after I broke it twice. Lol

I went from a vibrant to a sgs2. I don't regret it at all. Sure the sgs3 will be better but honestly it won't be much longer after it comes out, that everyone will be talking about the next big thing. There are some really good devs over there. As some of you know Eugene373 just got a vibrant, plus we have a guy named thederekjay who is making unbelievably good roms and kernels. This phone will be around for a while.

Sorry to hear about your Vibrant. :/ If I were you, I'd wait it out before spending a good amount of money on one of the phones that are currently out. I'd go for the Samsung Galaxy Note (if it came to T-Mobile). SGS3 would definitely be worth the wait, though.

As Much as I wanted a new phone bricked, roman and the other great devs have breathed great new life into my almost 2 year old phone with ics. I've never held onto a phone this long there just in my opinion nothing worth early upgrading to. Good luck

I'm actually leaving. As of 3/6/12 my internal SD card is corrupted on my Vibrant. Might disassemble and part out because the screen is perfect. Bought a SGS2 that got "Lost" in the mail..... that is a $350 hit as of now. It is SO ridiculous, the post office said they delivered it so they are washing their hands of the situation. I have spent hours between EBAY PAYPAL and USPS and it does not look good for me . Funny thing is just try to get ahold of EBAY customer service. I only got through after calling PAYPAL directly and then they transferred me to someone at EBAY. Have just bought a spanking new Galaxy Nexus with signature verification through FedEx so we will see about the funny business that may come with this most recent purchase.
I am considering buying a nexus 7 16gb, is it worth the 314 AUD price tag? What do you guys think from your experiences? Thanks

Yes ! It is an amazing tablet and the first one born with Android Jelly Bean 4.1. It has a really powerful processor (NVidia Tegra 3 Quad Core (x4) 1.3GHz.). The size is really awesome, you can hold it fine with one hand. It is really smooth and fast. Worth to buy

If you love your Nexus S's Android OS, the Nexus 7 will not disappoint.
You really cannot go wrong with the price. I mean 250$ is dirt cheap. Especially for a Tegra 3 and 1GB of RAM. Really enjoying mine so far and I have an iPhone 4S and new iPad as well. Android has a special place in my heart for tinkering and this tablet is totally fulfilling that niche .

Totally worth it, I have a feeling development has only just started I have never owned a nexus device previous to this
It has replaced my phone for everything but calls and texts, other than when I don't have it of course
I think the size is perfect as the ipad IMO is too big and heavy, 7 inch is perfect size
I bought mine on release weekend at jbhifi for $317, best choice
Buy it from a store so if you have problems, you can take it back like I did.

OP: we can't really answer that (at least, not without information on your preferences). You should youtube the n7 in action and see if it seems to fit your needs.
The nexus 7 is very worth it. Your might have to return it a couple times if it has the defects like screen lift, light bleed, etc.
I doubt the iPad mini will be around 300 dollars, as the ipod touch costs 300 and is less than half the size.
If i were you, I would buy it!
I bought one yesterday and it's well worth it. Mine was built in August and doesn't seem to have any screen or multi-touch problems that others do.
Tapatalk made me send this.
I've had mine for a while and even with a little screen lift on the left hand side, I'd buy it all over again.
If you have the option, purchase an extended warranty that covers screen damage. That extra insurrance never hurt.
I'd buy that for any tab I'd purchase.
Buy it...you won't regret it. Your significant other may though. I think my girl is going to break mine if I don't put it down. Lolzzz

The screen is awesome, and so are the specs..However, I am on two wheels 90% of the time. Size and weight are biggies with me.
Right now I am still within my return period on my GN 2014, along with my tax refund to take up the difference. I was going to snatch the 64gb one... But, after looking at the size, compared it to my 10.1, it is just too much..I travel very light on two wheels. Either on motorcycle or bicycle, space is premium.
Now, if they came with another 10.1 pro, I be on it, especially since I am in my return window..
Again, this thing is too big..

First impressions
Well, I've had my 32gb WiFi Galaxy Note Pro for 2 days now.
The screen is superb. I absolutely love it.
The size looks much larger than expected, in terms of feel, than my Note 10.1 2014 - a huge difference when watching video.
I have experienced no lag at all.
The TouchWiz UX is OK - but the magazine home screen I cannot get on with. The content is too restrictive and doesn't cover my interests. Also, you cannot remove the Magazine screen - grrrr!
Also have a problem writing to the micro SDCard - see my other post.
Still early days yet but a general 'thumbs up' from me.
Yes, I really want this, but first things first.
- I need to be able to sell my Nexus 10 for a decent price before I can buy this.
- I'll not be an early adopter/unpaid beta tester. I want lots of reviews (both pro and amateur) before I make a commitment.
- I suspect this tablet will be huge with the custom ROM community. I'll wait until there's some solid ROM development going on.

I've always found the 10" tablets too small to be really useful, in particular since I've almost always had a large phone with me. Currently the GN3. 10" was too big to carry in a pocket and too small to be useful on the go. So if I'm going to have to carry it in a bag/case, might as well go with a moderately larger screen size. But not too big so as to become heavy and bulky if I want to use it on a plane, vehicle, or even couch.
With this form factor, I'm hoping it'll fit right in between my 5.7" phone and 15" notebook, depending on where I'm going and what I want to do.
Mine gets here Friday. Yay.

This tablet is simply amazing. The extra screen real estate makes it so much more useful. Makes you really wonder why no one else tried a larger display the last three years.

Not noticeably.
Only minor annoying thing is that some elements are just to large for this display, but that's a general Android thing. I'm afraid I gonna need to tweak the density (like it's done in the good old days).
Hope it will get rooted soon so we can run custom roms bye bye UX

It's awesome! I get about 2 days of battery life. Links flawlessly with the Note4. I love the auto-call forwarding when the 2 are not paired. Best smart watch I've ever had or seen! (I have tried the Omate, Gear2, Kreyos)
Nice...I'm going for the zenwatch...cheeper and has wayyyyyy more apps
I'm impressed with the design of the Gear S and it looks just as good if not better then the 360. Imo. The curved screen helps keep the thickness size down.
I'm really liking the Gear S. I had a Pebble smart watch before, but I have decided to sell it after using the Gear S. I wrote a review of how the Gear S benefits my daily life.

That's what she said. LoL. I like the big screens that's why I have it and the Note 4. Da. Hehe. Yes you need your own plan because it has a sim and a number. Obviously it has it's pros and cons like any other gadget but I bought it because I liked the design a lot. People say that it's huge but like I said it doesn't feel huge when it's on because of the curve. I'm pretty sure the 360 and LG G watch R are thicker. I'm happy with it so far.
[email protected] what she said...
I guess I need to go to a tmo store and check it out; I really like my gear 2 neo, so I am a smart watch proponent now; I just cant decide if its worth the extra $$$ over my gear 2 neo...
is there only one color at t mobile?
if you buy it, and hate it, is it a 50 dollar charge to return it like a phone?
was it easy to set up forwarding from your phone number to your watch phone number?
I should look for a link to the owners manual and check it out..

Obviously it has it's pros and cons like any other gadget but I bought it because I liked the design a lot. People say that it's huge but like I said it doesn't feel huge when it's on because of the curve. I'm pretty sure the 360 and LG G watch R are thicker. I'm happy with it so far.

How much was it dude? It is payday lol getting that gta 5 on ps4
It's $350 at T-Mobile and I just financed it so the wife won't yell at all at once. LoL. Only black but you can change the band when available. Yes it's pricey but pretty sure it's the only one with a sim. I was going to wait and see if it drops for the holiday but oh well. Christmas is early for me. Hehe. Oh I'm pretty sure Verizon doesn't even have the sim in the phone. Stupid Verizon. LoL
Whoa lol that is bro.
I'm just curious if it's worth it or just a gadget. Nothing wrong with gadgetry, but at $350 I want to get some benefit from it.
You said it alratld. Idk about spending that on a watch my phone does all of that PLUS more. That's why a simple moto 360 or better yet the zenwatch at $200 will be worth it... @ 350 I can see why it's expensive . It's A PHONE. That's what I love about it, what I don't is that is powered by tizen instead of the almighty ANDROID. Thus why I went for the zenwatch.
Loving mine!
i gotts get to Tmobile and compare this thing next to my gear 2 neo..

I said the same thing with tablets but had to try one. After a few months I sold my Nexus 7. I prefer my phablet since I can type a lot quicker on it then a tablet plus it can still fit in my pocket. I didn't think I would ever get a smartwatch but after seeing the Gear S I had to try it. I'll decide after 14 days if it's a keeper or not but you have to pay to play for good stuff. lol

My T-Mobile stores just had a demo but no stock. I had to order it and the manager said he would take care of the $25 overnight shipping. I'll have to check my bill since he was going to credit me. I just had to pay $53 and change. I did see that I'm being charged $15 a month to finance it. It says on the website $14.58 a month and $5 for the line so I need to find out about that as well. If I keep it I'll probably pay it off in a month or two.
I bought it out right on AT&T for 299 off contract. Tmobile wanted 349 Verizon wanted 399 so they all do the same thing so went with the 299 version.
This device is stuffing the megillah. $350....I rather carry a nexus 5

I look at it this way. I haven't bought a nice watch in awhile so why not. LoL. I have a Note 4 and have no need for a Nexus 5 or any other phone.
agree; if you are into nice watches, and I know I am, then this is actually a bargain.
I have several "normal" watches, including an Omega Seamaster, so, to me, these smart watches are a natural addition to that..

Holy cheapness Batman! If I could afford another one, I'd get it as a backup. Best price yet.
Where was this earlier this year!!

This is what this phone should have cost since day 1. Now is too late. New will be out.

No way it could have those specs for $300 when it came out. It was easily a $500 phone at the time. That means it would be well under $200 now, by your logic. Think.
Wow, best price for new N6 so far....
In which ways you guys think the Huawei nexus 6 will out perform the moto nexus 6????

How about these ways:
Camera - that shouldn't be hard. Just have a camera that can actually focus would be great while taking videos
Smaller bezels - I hope, the Nexus 6 has huge bezels which make it really wide, more than it should be
CPU - Even if it is the Snapdragon 810, the gpu is 30% faster. I am sure the overheating issue will be improved upon by now. Could always declock the cpu if needed
Fingerprint reader - Might be really cool, but I can take or leave this
Screen - I was dissapointed in the screen coming from a Note 3 to a Nexus 6. I felt the Note 3 had a brighter, clearer, more vibrant screen. Even if the resolution was lower.
Flat Back - Man it drives me nuts that when I put the N6 on the Qi charger I have to set it soo perfectly.
Just my opinion though.
there was also a coupon code for an extra 45 bucks off. crazy how the price is dropping so much.
doesn't seem to have much information on what type of warranty this nexus 6 has. I'd make sure you find all the information on that first before you buy. Might be better to go with amazon or best buy for the 50 bucks extra to make sure you get a solid warranty with it. If someone finds the information regarding it on this ebay sale please post it.

I'm back on the N6 from the G4, just picked one up today for a price too good to pass up, it was the n6 vs the new moto x pure, at 200 dollars less than the pure would have costed me, I'm happy =)
