Can I pair my N7 and PS3 controller via my laptop? As in, can i connect my tablet and ps3 controller to my laptop and somehow pair them through my laptop? I dont have the cable that just hooks both of them up directly.
You're Welcome...
I use this all the time with emulators. Works great.

yep, what he said, use the sixaxis app from the play store.
here's a quick one on how it works:
you need to set the n7's bluetooth mac address as the master address in the controller, then you can just press start in the app, switch on the controller and it will pair.
on any device with usb host capabilities the updating of the mac address can be done from the device itself by first connecting the controller with a mini-usb to usb cable and a usb otg cable.
oh and by the way, this is the nexus 10 section, not the nexus 7, reported.
I am not sure it could be connected via using laptop but yes connection between N7 and PS3 controller is possible. You will have to require cable to do so. Watch the video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhcHTHo2hEQ which show you how to connect N7 and PS3 controller each other.
So I have a dualshock connected to my n7 via the six axis app. Will I be able to use the same ps3 controller between the two devices, or do I have to reconnect it every time for the n7?
Scenario: plug dualshock into ps3 cable thing for it to be recognized by my ps3. After that will the controller still connect to the n7s Bluetooth?

Hi All,
I use Allcast Share on my S3 to output wirelessly to my Miracast-enabled TV.
I also have an old Windows XP laptop which doesn't have Miracast/WIDI hardware.
I was wondering if there's any way to use the S3 as a USB Miracast transmitter dongle? I.e.: output the screen of my laptop to the TV via the Miracast hardware of the S3? Either through USB or through WIFI?
I was thinking of having an NX/RDP client running on the S3 connecting to the laptop, and then activating AllCast share, but maybe there are more efficient ways which allow to save overhead and reduce the lag?
The S3 is a corporate phone so i can't root it.
Thanks in advance for any thought
Regards
Hello guys,
I have a question about using a usb ps3 controller (without bluetooth) on the nexus 4 without otg cable.
Is it possible to connect the controller to windows and then connect windows with bluetooth to the device to use the controller on the nexus 4? (Controller > Windows > Nexus 4)
Thanks for the response.

I think it needs special software and I don't think it is available.
Actually this would be a cool idea, but I don't think it's possible.
I know there is a tool to configure PS3 controllers on Windows like Better DS3, but not sure about the bluetooth thingy for android, because the type of connection between a PC and Android is different than a controller and Android, I'm not sure that you can modify that?
I have the software Sixaxis Controller from the Play Goals.
So my cheap ps3 controller works on the Nexus4
Is it possible to do this via Bluetooth. I can hook my tablet up to the tv, but since I won't have any usb ports open, I'd need a Bluetooth controller. Any ideas?

yeah every bluetooth controler should work. (maybe not ps3 or you need a program for that) but i have a ipega controler for my android phone works perfect with my windows tablet. for racing games.
Another question, do you have an mhl adapter to plug the tablet to the tv?
