I really tried to fall in love with this device but it's not happening. More often than not, I'm making excuses for it and missing my S5 which i just sold last week btw. I know that a few others have posted similar thoughts and I've told them to give it time and caked then crazy but I simply haven't taken in love with this device. In the months I'm going to be wanting something else so bad and won't get it because i just shelled out the $800 for this. So in a few days, I'll be leaving you guys being and returning this device. I gave it a chance too and ended up returning it. The locked bootloader on at&t killed it for me.
I tell customers its not for everyone... And that is about the best advice I would give anyone..

What are you going to switch to? What exactly was it about the Edge that wasn't jiving with you?
I've been waiting for this phone since Samsung showed off the prototypes at CES a couple of years ago. To be honest it has turned out better than I expected it to be.

I must say i did not know that my version was light years thinner and lighter then all the us models untill i played with all 3 models anyways my question is what would you have picked? the real Uk Gs2 or branded GS2 now my uk version gets 4g but on Att only but im on tmobile and i keep my clear wireless on me at all times so im never on edge but witch model do you guys like? The exnoys Cpu is a beast and faster then the S3 i hear but again was my choice a good one i love how thin this device is and the fact its not tied to any network so the Ics update should come with no problems and theres tons of roms and development for the uk gs2

Also the AT&T model is the same as the international model lmao (same thickness except it has 4 capacitive buttons). So you obviously didn't play with AT&T model and you got ripped off. Oh yea and its pathetic that you have to carry a hotspot with you at all times just to get 3G speeds.

My choice, I would have bought the cheapest, and not asked for opinions after buying it in the wrong part of the forums.
i9100 is $560-580 right now.
well also here in ontario i purchased a new device rather then those of "kijiji" or "ebay" b/c of some people bs'in about things and products and with tax of 13% i paid about $700 but with that i got a leather case + a protector and also from a wireless store and got their warranty + 1 more year on top total of 2 yrs. so yeah i looked @ my benefits but now whether it'd be galaxy galatica or note or sgs3 come out im 150% on my device + no contract either .. so till death this device is with me and i know yeah LTE and all this bullcrap but i don't need that sh** nor am i tempted to get htc raider or sgs 2 lte or w/e is out b/c all of them have same specs xcept maybe "screen" which is useless you might as well carry a tablet or a laptop ..and nfc which is no biggie b/c unless ur a doosh and lazy to carry a wallet then u might as well grow up and start carrying a wallet..lol no offence anyone plz don't start a bashing contest cause ill laugh and thats just that and as far as speed you can overclock sgs2 to 1.4 or 1.6 anyways with dual processor. now lets be nice and enjoy what we have and how we have it and so on..

not sure but it could have something to do with the sells of the debt version it could be with the most sells so debt gets first the updates so more people will benefit from it.

AT&T might have awful customer service, but things like this are the reasons I stick around. AT&T seems to be very happy with the sales of the Galaxy devices and is becoming pretty fair with their updates, so it doesn't surprise me that they'll probably get the S4 first. Also, I'm sure that Samsung loves AT&T.

I just switched to at&t from tmobile and i love them. Great service so far.

I dropped AT&T after 10+ years when they refused to offer Android because they had their noses up Steve Jobs' sphincter.
But I went to T-Immobile which was a real mess.
Am on Verizon now, but will be back to AT&T for the S4 so I can have an unlocked global phone. No more CDMA for me. And there is no way in Hell that I would ever lock myself into a contract. Kind of like playing Russian Roulette just to drive a car you can't really save for.

Whenever we go in to ATT store i run Speedtest on one of their 4g phones- usually around 8mb. Then i run it on my VZW and it's like 18mb. So i think verizon wins in that category.

Seriously just bummed myself out pretty hard with this one. #1 reason for getting an S4 was the potential of the 13 megapixel camera. The one I just broke!
S4 in my pocket, leaned against something just right I guess, and BOOM! Not really a boom more of a sad sad whimper when I first saw my cracked lens.
I've searched this already, and there is hardly even a mention of this happening on google.
Hoping that someone has good news for me, or hopefully some helpful suggestions!
Ghost Glass on the front, Machined aluminium bumper, and not a thing to protect that stupid little piece of glass (why glass?) over the camera.:crying:

I finally received my camera from China... Quite an interesting trip it must have been for this little thing. About to replace the broken one, wish me luck.
the case is sweet.. I really like that it protects the outside of the phone as that is usually the part to hit the ground first on a drop. I also really like the Ghost glass that I've put on the screen. It feels just like the naked screen and doesn't inhibit the feel of the phone at all. The only thing that seems to not be protected by this setup is the camera... However at $28 a pop, I could think of worse things to happen. I'll be sure to do a quick write up when I'm finished in a few minutes.
Damn this phone is easy to fix. Took me five minutes total to fix.
