Hi mate ,
first thing you have to do is to review your settings , wifi , location , FB . email.........
Then use an app like
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809
Let it run for a few hours and check the logs to see who is keeping awake your phone..

I dont know how to check battry stats so im attaching this i m using phon from 7 hours with two hour rest started from 98% battry so howz my battry life??
That is about the same as mine. I'm lucky if I last a day without charging, but I'm just putting it down to me constantly messing about with it.
It should settle down in a week or so, and, luckily I am never too far from a charging point!
Yep same here... don't panic though same on the One X when that was released... I'm sure a fix in the pipeline...
It does beg the question of why though?
So its not gud?? What to do now?
That's horrendous. How long have you had the phone. Here is mine.

I have it from 2 days and i m talking about continous usage man where as urs ststs shows 35% it on cell standby! And 7% internrt only!! Chek mine
Usual starting point is Better Battery Stats thread and app and check on wakelocks .

Check it works on SGS3 .

6 hours continuously? That looks good to me (I don't know why the others are saying it needs fix). For example, the s3 is clocked at 10 hours of video playback; depending on what you were doing I think yours' is well within acceptable parameters.

Horrible battery life on S3

Hello guys i have been facing absolutely horrible battery life on my s3 i9300 for the past 3 months or so....im currently running archidroid 2 which has absolutely amazing battery life as compared to the other roms that i have used and by that i mean almost all the popular roms that have been made for the s3 i9300 i have changed chargers....i just got a new battery about an hour ago and thats also not helping me at all i lose 2 percent in every 5 mins while doing light tasks like writing this thread and 2 percent in every 3 mins while playing games like clash of clans /fifa 14 ....one of my friends who has an s3 has abolutely amazing battery life he says he loses just 5 percent in one hour of fifa 14 i have disabled sync put my phone on 2g brightness on auto greenified almost all apps...pls help :'(
Yeah, those friends xD. On s3 you can play for about 3-4 hours depending on game. You must take care of screen on time. Look at it on yours friend phone Thats the real time of using your smartphone. Max screen on time that i had was about 5.5h but I was only reading a book. And the 3g browsing eats your battery like a boss I discharged my phone in 2h so thats normal.
Peace

Use BetterBatteryStats to have full control over it. Also, I don't know what apps you have running, but try to use Greenify.
You're running a custom rom, so the culprit can be the kernel too. Use an untouched stock kernel if you want or heavily tweak the custom one you're using.
We can't tell you more than this, because we don't know what you have installed, what you have running and how do you use it.
check out BetterBatteryStats, as already mentioned for the real battery killers.
put down the brightness to a low level
turn off your mobile internet in moments you dont really need it (i.e. during sports). just like you turn off wifi, when you leave your house
Is your phone 2 years old?
Buy a new battery.
try calibrate battery or boeffla kernel
Looks like your battery needs to be recalibrated.
Completely drained your battery & charge it for 8 hours without stopping during the night.
It happened to me too a few weeks ago when I bought a new battery.
Use BBS, greenify & tweaks your kernel settings will definitely help too.
Good luck
I still like the look of the S2
Replace your battery
Either get another Samsung battery - or go big and get ZeroLemon 7000mAh - worth every penny! and you get used to the size & weight pretty fast.

[Q] Galaxy Note 3 Battery Level Doesn't Change

Okay so I have a Verizon Galaxy Note 3 and the battery is not showing and changes in life, even though I have been doing some light browsing on it. I popped in a fresh battery about 4 hours ago and over the past two hours the battery has been stuck at 83%. I know this can be possible because I have been doing some emailing and browsing during that time over a 4G connection.
I have attached here a screenshot of the battery chart from when I put in the fresh battery. Is there any explanation to this. This isn't the first time I've had this happen to my phone too.
Thanks guys!

can you tell me which one to buy???
Doesn't really matter as long as it gives power and fits in your device.
HI,
Dont want to start new thread if problem is the same.
Is this the same battery behaving?
Why battery spikes, is it dead?
Battery can last whole day with wifi on, few hours of net, and few calls.
i have this issue too but sometimes it gives me more than 1 day timing

How long the battery was used ? open the battery and put it on a flat surface .. then flick the battery on the same plane .. if this rotates that means the battery is swollen and needs replacement .. for software tweaks .. try disable google now ..

then the battery must be the culprit...on stock s4 lp you must get around 3:30 hrs of SOT
Display consuming majority of battery means that the brightness level is not set to the low optimum.
Try reducing the brightness and retest.
I am getting 4 hours of display ON phone usage with full charge on Lollipop.
