is it possible to unlock the t-mobile with a certain code? the guy in the shop told me, he'd send me a e-mail with the code, after i've sent him my serial number. should i believe him?
So I ordered an HD2 from Ebay, with WP7 installed and activated, however the seller said that he doesn't have the code anymore.
I have 2 questions:
Is the code generated for a Live account, or for a single device?
Is it stored somewhere after activation? If so, how do you get it?
Just call MS support, they will give you one without too many questions (for me it was only phone n° + email). Just say you bought a windows phone, which is asking for an activation code.
I don't think you can get a number back, you have to store it somewhere to be able to use it again. I think it is linked to a live account, which can have more than 1, but not 100% sure about it.

WP7 phones aren't officially sold in Russia, so I don't think I can get the code..
Using Skype, call MS in The United States
Hey guys, I called Russian MS support, and they gave me the activation code!
activating in India
Could you please tell me the toll free number for activating in India?
Go to MS website, look for contact at the bottom, then by phone.
You will get a number, maybe not free but cheap
Call them, try to get somebody as fast as you can (usually I press many times '*') and ask for the number of the activation service, which should be a local or free call..
here´s the thing.
I´ve tried emailing microsoft 5 times for an activation code and didnt get one.. they told me i need to call them. The thing is I can´t call them for some reason our phone doesnt connect with the helpdesk phone or sumthing.. Ive tried emailing to the contact support for South east asia, netherlands, usa and some more but no results. if someone has some tips for me to get a code or has a spare code for me, it would be very appreciated
How to solve:
Don't use chat, they won't give you a code in the Netherlands. If your phone doesn't work, use a different one.. Call 020 500 1500 and ask for the code. They will transfer you to someone who will activate your software.
They will ask for:
Name
E-mail (This will be linked to the activation code)
Number
Maybe the brand of your phone (remember you have a HD7 if they ask)
Worked, thanx
Sent from my HD2 using XDA App
Hello! I have a social app where users need to input their phone number. I am trying to verify the user number by sending an SMS to their phone number and then they need to input the pin to my App.
Now I am using Twilio , but the problem is that the cost per user is super expensive (+8 cent per sms) , so I was wondering if there is a way to do it like whatsapp (reverting the cost to my users , instead of my company paying them) . And if it's possible to do it with Twilio?
If not do you know a service with a SMS cost of less than 1 or 2 cent per SMS?
Thanks!
Checkout Digits. I am using in one of my app. Its free (some restrictions apply, you need to dig into the documentation
Used the latest N beta build for a while now and I am quite happy, but today when I tried to unlock my bootloader to root N I discovered that I lost my unlock code so I wanted to get a new one from the HUAWEI homepage but for the life of me I cant get it to work. Also from what I remember the code I get from *#*#1357946#*#* is different from the one I got under MM if that is even possible. I am not able to get the unlock code at the moment ... any help would be greatly appreciated thx
