I'm not sure that is MIUI support i9505. You can see device list on MIUI forum on theirs website

The rom fails to give root permissions. ..... Do I have to re root it?

try to head over to security and then choose permission and see if root permission is disable/enable

Apps crasing frequently
I've had the miui rom for a couple of months now and my apps keep crashing. This generally happens with apps containing date wheels, when I turn on the hotstop, if an app is taking a little time to load.
Can someone please help.
I'm seriously contemplating changing the rom

Cannot uninstall some apps
Can somebody let me know how to install some apps in this ROM? I have flashed this but could not uninstall some apps using Titanium Root, for example, Clock, Calendar, Video, Music,... I have my own apps to replace those ones. I also restarted after uninstalling, but no help, the apps are still there, even Titanium said they were uninstalled successfully. Appreciate any help.

How to install play store and google service in MIUI V5 ROM
Hi, Im very new here.
1. How to install play store and google service in rom miui v5?
2. The Gapps in the download section, contains apps for 4.2.2, is it okay to download and install? and by installing those files, does it install the google play store and services?
3. Is this rom compatible with all apps from play store? because in the download section it was written "Download compatible Gapps". are those the only compatible apps.
I hope someone can answer my question. i want to install this rom. it looks very nice with great features.

im unable to use any google app in my redmi 2 prime. Im using china devlopr rom.
when i had flash rom it says error.:crying::crying:
i have back from.cynogen . it also not working in my phon. Whithout gapps it working good.

remember if u using miui china chose 5.1 picco and if u using cm 13 then 6.0 picco

Error 7 occurred when your device model is different as the ROM that you want to flash..
Error 7 can solved simply by editing Updater-script..

Why aren't graphics working smoothly in custom roms compared to miui ???

I want to play Injustice 2 & I have tried every custom rom available which claims to be stable and bug less. But in every custom rom Injustice 2 force closes. It is only playable in miui. But I hate miui because all bloatwares and unwanted gapps. I want a custom rom in which I can play injustice 2.
PS: Injustice 2 is not directly available on Play Store on Redmi 3S/Prime for which I even contacted WB Support and they said they will fix it in new update but they haven't either. If we open play store in chrome and from there go to play store page of injustice 2 it says your device is not compatible with this version. But if we download it from other site we can play it on stock miui rom.
Any help is appreciated.

There are lot of MIUI based custom roms. Perhaps you can try them. They like other roms don't have any gapps or bloatwares.

Can you tell me their names or better give the links ?
I have tried LOS and RR from Hriday, fedosis, charansai etc.
The only miui based rom i found was Rexmi by dabi01 but it is still in beta version and doesn't have gapps & we can't flash opengapps in that rom and i only want google contact sync and google play games only...

What is that ? My friend has Redmi note 4 and he can download Injustice 2 from playstore directly then why can't 3s/prime since all specs are almost same in both phones

Like denuvo for games, so custom/rooted roms wont be able to cheat/steal.. google for more info

Since you unlocked the bootloader, your phone isn't considered secure anymore.
If you want it to pass safetynet test, you should install Magisk Manager and install Xiaomi SafetyNet Fix module.

What does that have to do with my problem ?
My another friend has bootloader locked redmi 3s but the app doesn't appear in his phone either

Then it's not CTPS SafetyNet related problem. Should be another incompability with Redmi 3S.

You can't flash open gapps in either of MIUI based custom roms. You need to take backup of gapps required and manually install in those ROMs.
MIUI pro, xiaomi.eu, multi ROM are few.

I can assure you that it's an incompatibility issue as my 4 year old Android One (sprout4) can download the game from Play Store without any incompatibility message in the store

But Aroma Installer didn't started. I am using twrp 3.0.1 can you tell me what went wrong?
The screen just froze. I even left it as it was for around 15 minutes
After that I tried xiaomi.eu and it works very good
I also searched miui pro & multi rom but I couldn't understand their language in website so couldn't find the download link.

I got this. Try downloading TWRP cafface from fedosis's drive. It will work.

Hi guys,havent where can post my question,so i put it here.I try mokee 7.1.2 with aroma instaler,everything works fine,besides one think.Havent network conections(T-Mobile,Czech Republic).Other roms,which i try works,mokee not.Where can be problem,I install first nightly mokee,next aroma gaps and next OTA,but this cannot install,because show me Missmatch version.Thanks for al answers.

Native IR App is missing in UI 5.0
Native IR remote app is gone when i upgraded to official nougat ROM with UI 5.0 from earlier version. I liked that app and don't want any other app from play store.

Unfortunately the best IR remote app of android world was in Nubia chinese rom. After international rom update we lost IR app. I wrote a mail about this situation to Nubia support. They said thet IR app was built in the chinese rom and it is not possible to use or load it as apk file or there is no way to install Nubia IR app to international ROM. Other IR apps are useless garbage and full of advertisements.

I updated to Nubia 5 UI and android 7 and i lost the share screen nubia app, so what we can do about this??. I ****ing love this phone but im going to sell it probably due these software problems...

That was an app i never used so i do not know. But picture editor before update had an option to draw on pictures. After update, you can not edit a picture with draw option. It has standart android galery app options. You can apply some filters, crop but you can not draw on them.

Red Magic 5S firmware works on RM5G

The RM5S firmware works perfect on RM5G. The only problem is it won't let you use a different launcher. But I also haven't tried root on it yet either. I will post a link if people want to try it out.

This has the working theme store. There are more functionalities to this rom but haven't tried them out yet. This is the Chinese rom.

I did mine from a fresh install of 3.13 ENcommon if that makes a difference. I set up the Google apps and then I updated to the 5S rom through local upgrade. It may not work if you have the Global rom.

it will work. but the CN version of the roms for the 5S and 5G have TONNES! of bloatware. all asking for express permissions for storage and internet.
if you don't mind giving nubia literally all your data, go ahead. but the newest update for the 5S NA/EU will be out soon, v8.07 and it should install and boot on the 5G

Yeah I noticed that. I just deleted all of the bloat apps one by one

I have the Red Magic 5s and yes you can select a default launcher, i have Nova as the default launcher
the steps that you need to do is
open settings -> app info -> top right corner click on the 3 dots -> Default app settings -> Desktop and select your preferred launcher
i cant take credit of this as someone over the 5S forum section provided the steps

This is good , only problem with it going to be can not use the over lock you kernel with it.
