Infinite "Installing System Update" loop after Lollipop OTA - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This happened a few days ago after attempting the OTA.
I left it for about 20 hours and no change, just looping the installing system update screen.
I let the battery drain (probably not a great idea) and then turned it on and it does the same thing.
I can sometimes get into fastboot mode but not consistently. I can get into download mode.
I can occasionally get to this screen, although I'm not sure how: i.imgur.com/g49Bbdw.jpg and after that finishes it just goes back to looping.
Is the only option to flash stock Android in download mode and lose all my data? (Although I'm not even sure I can do this because I haven't enabled USB debugging)
I hope not so thanks for any suggestions.
Cheers

Bootlooping LS980, previously rooted, stock recovery.

Ok, so i rooted my LS980 from day 1. A week later, I dropped my phone and cracked half my screen Regardless, the phone was working fine for a month or so. Then..... Along came the LS980ZVA update.... My phone kept telling me that the update was downloaded and ready to install. I kept ignoring it of course.
So one day, after work, I pull my phone out of my pocket and it begins to boot, stays alive for a minute or so(with zero signal and no touch input), and then begins to boot loop. I assume that my phone managed to update in my pocket, so I tired to boot to TWRP and restore a backup. This only sent my phone back into the bootloop
Next, I tried restoring my phone back to stock with the LG Flash tool. Long story short..... Half the time while in download mode, my phone will say it's rooted and the other half will say unrooted. And now im STUCK WITH STOCK RECOVERY!!!! I managed to get usb debugging enabled and can change my PC connection mode before it loops, but so far no rooting method works and I can't get any ADB commands to work.
Every time I issue an adb command it returns "error closed."
I can get into download mode, stock recovery, and can manage to get the phone to stay booted for a maximum of around two minutes or so...
What can i do!!!???!?!?!?!? My software still says i'm on on ZV7 firmware.... What can I do with stock recovery, no remaining nandroid backups, no adb, and a bootloop...? Maybe there's a solution utilizing linux...?
Any help would be sooooooooo appreciated!!!

G2 D800 No recovery, No download mode, stuck in a loop

So, here's the backstory: I rooted my phone on Kit Kat. I used ioroot 25, and it was easy enough. However, I tried and tried for hours upon end to download a custom recovery. All I managed to do was lose stock recovery/ every time I tried to go to recovery, I would get a Boot Certification Error. I wasn't too mad, just disappointed. I don't really remember what I did beforehand, but I turned off my device. When I tried to turn it on, it gets stuck in a bootloop. When I turn it off, it stays off for about 3 seconds then turns itself on again, still with the Error screen. That shortly disappears, and then it stays on with a blank screen. I can get to the factory reset page, but not the download mode. So when I tried to do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2663369, I was stuck at the download mode part. I don't have a way to enable USB debugging and my phone has no recovery. What do I do?!

[Q] I somehow lost my recovery?

So I was running CWM (Philz) I believe, and I had been running into issues while on rooted 4.2.2 D800 stock ROM. There were force closes and random reboots, etc. I've only installed xposed mods. I've also used android tuner to adjust some of the build.prop and kernel presets.
However, after my phone got stuck in what I thought was a boot loop, I finally got it up and running. What happened next was odd. I tried booting into recovery -> the "LG" splash screen showed up and it went into another infinite boot loop.
I'm assuming I somehow corrupted or lost my recovery. Any advice on what to do? I don't know if I should follow the original instructions for flashing a recovery here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2633150.
Edit: Jesus christ my phone infuriates and confuses the hell out of me. After attempting to enter the recovery again, I am now stuck in a permanent boot loop. The last time I fixed it was by turning my phone off....and then *WAITING*.
What? That doesn't make sense you say? Of course it doesn't. But that's still what worked. I waited 12 hours, and then tried turning it on again. When I did, oh look, the AT&T screen!
CONFUSING. help please...
Double edit (Hard Mode): Going into download mode when I'm in this constant bootloop = nothing happens. That little icon that says "Download Mode" with the 5 blue circles just stays there, and my laptop ends up not recognizing anything. This happened the last time too, and all I was able to see on my laptop was "QHSUSB_BULK". I thought this meant that I would have to do a complete wiping process through Linux (found on another thread somewhere), but apparently waiting 12 hours also fixed the problem.

I may have bricked my Nexus 7 and lost my data. Any ideas appreciated

Hello, I fear I have bricked my nexus 7 (2012 wifi unrooted) and lost all of my data
What Happened?
Play store would crash on startup so I went to restart my tablet.
When turning my tablet back on it gets stuck on the four circles loading screen and does not load any further.
What Have I Tried?
Firstly I went into recovery mode and tried "wipe cache partition" as recommended elsewhere. This changed nothing
Then I tried to flash 4.4.3 on in hopes it would replace potential corrupt files (whilst also getting an early update )
I used this guide cultofandroid com/63876/install-android-4-4-3-nexus-5-nexus-4-nexus-7/
It failed. When running flash-all.bat (with -w removed) it would be stuck on "waiting for device" and my tablet would also be idley waiting to receive files.
I thought that my laptop could not 'see' my tablet but think it actually could because I tried restarting my tablet whilst it was plugged in still, and command prompt showed some messages (unfortunately I didn't take note and cannot remember what they said!) whilst it was restarting
State of tablet now
I now cannot even get into recovery mode
When I turn my tablet on the normal way it loads to a screen which shows the "Google" text in the center of the screen, an unlocked padlock at the bottom, and the fastboot options top right (clicking them does nothing)
When I turn on my tablet on into fastboot mode and try to get into reovery mode I get an error message in the top left of the screen saying "Booting failed"
I'm out of ideas.
Is there any way that I can get my tablet back working normally with all my data safe?
Thanks for any and all help/suggestions
Don't go into recovery mode, just leave it in fastboot mode and run the flash-all.bat.
(The -w might be needed, as it reformats your partitions. Yes, all your data goes but if there are faulty sectors, this is the only way)
Thanks, I left out the -w but it completely wiped the tablet anyway. Better than having a brick.
Before I assumed you couldn't flash with out getting into recovery.
For anyone else doing this be patient. The command prompt looks like it has stopped a couple of times but it hasn't. Its only finished when it says 'press any key to exit' (took 4-5 minutes for me).
Also when it reboots your tablet it takes a while and actually reboot mine 2-3 times before it loaded up.

Reboot issue on system

Hi,
After updating to nougat I've been having random reboots while using the system, both in normal and safe mode. The phone turns on for a few seconds (about a minute, sometimes more, sometimes less. Usually when notifications appear), then reboots, and does that all the time.
I turned it on recovery mode and it doesn't turn off there. I was planning to do a factory reset but I am afraid that the phone turns off during the reset and doesn't work any more. Also, what does the "Run graphic test" option does? I know It may seem obvious but just to be sure if i can use in any way to solve the problem ir diagnose It.
Any recommendation on what to do?
Thanks in advance.
Since latest update in the reset menu there is an option to restart device automaticlly. Mayhe turned on somehow?
Aswell when I had the latest update it also rebooted 3 times about 5 minuts it booted back up. The update was over 400mb and some system app need a rebokt to setup. But if you do to much fast after a reboot it will wait and redo the progress. I suggest turn off and wait 5 minuts. Boot up and do it when u go to bed and plug it on the charger. Maybe it will work.
