G2 D800 No recovery, No download mode, stuck in a loop - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So, here's the backstory: I rooted my phone on Kit Kat. I used ioroot 25, and it was easy enough. However, I tried and tried for hours upon end to download a custom recovery. All I managed to do was lose stock recovery/ every time I tried to go to recovery, I would get a Boot Certification Error. I wasn't too mad, just disappointed. I don't really remember what I did beforehand, but I turned off my device. When I tried to turn it on, it gets stuck in a bootloop. When I turn it off, it stays off for about 3 seconds then turns itself on again, still with the Error screen. That shortly disappears, and then it stays on with a blank screen. I can get to the factory reset page, but not the download mode. So when I tried to do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2663369, I was stuck at the download mode part. I don't have a way to enable USB debugging and my phone has no recovery. What do I do?!

Unable to go into Recovery mode

This morning I was in bed browsing Reddit when my phone suddenly crashed and rebooted.
I put it aside to let it boot up, but after a few minutes when I looked at it the screen was just white. Rebooted it again, it then went into boot loop at the splash screen.
I attempted to get into recovery, but to no avail.
Attempted a few more restarts to get the phone up and running but no luck.
So I decided I must flash stock firmware onto it. Did that through Odin, seemed to be successful according to Odin, but my phone stays on the splash screen while it says "recovery booting" in the top left corner. After a while it boots up again, this time only the splash screen, no text in the top corner. But its stuck in a boot loop.
Flashed firmware and PIT file, then flashed philz touch recovery and still stuck on the splash screen.
Tried older firmware versions and still no luck
I'm at a loss as to what steps to take next..
Well, something must have caused that crash. Maybe hardware failure. Reason why it wont boot up. It can't be software related since it wont even boot up any software, except for recovery and download mode.
You might try flashing a different bootloader, since that's the thing that controls the OS booting.

Probably bricked LG G2 running SlimSaber

So basically this rom is awesome but it had only one problem. When I plugged my phone in the charger while it was turned off, it bootlooped until I restarted with the cable off. It was no big deal and nothing bad ever came out of it.
Yesterday my batter ran out while I was asleep and when I woke up it was already turned off. I, absentmindly, tried to turn it on, LG Logo, off again. Did it one more time, nothing happened, realized it's out of battery. Plugged in charger, try to turn it off/on, usual bootloop happens. Say ok and proceed with what I always did, phone gets past LG Logo, goes into SlimLP boot animation and for the first it has just stayed there. No restarts, just endless loading. Longest i Left it on to load was about 45 minutes. Never got back on.
Apart from that, I think that for some reason my recovery got uninstalled somehow, by itself, a few weeks ago. I only noticed this because before, when I wanted to get into recovery, I pressed the usual buttons and it went straight into TWRP. Now the same buttons take me to the "Factory reset screen". I know that everyone says to just go ahead and press power, but I am afraid, since I am not sure if TWRP is still functioning. This happened to me another time on the same phone, and when I confirmed the factory reset, it factory resetted.
My problem here is that I want to get my music and photos. I'm only able to enter that factory reset screen and download mode. Can I "flash" twrp safely from download mode? Should I use Flash Tool 2014 and Normal flash(which says it keeps the data) a stock g2 rom? Can I mount my phone to the computer in download mode to copy my files? I want the most risk-free approach.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, first If you can enter download mode I think you can flash kdz (Kitkat) file to stock using Flash Tool 2014. But I had this problem once and the keep data flashing didn't work (stucked at 50%), I ended up flashed it with other option (erased all data).
2. You can try the "Factory reset" nice and easy.
I think you can't see files on the device unless you enter Twrp.
It's wise to backup your phone on the computer montly or so, thank you.
I went ahead and nuked my download mode using the SRK tools. Then got access to fastboot, through which I booted to twrp and then I could move my files. All's fine, flashed my ROM again and it's going better than ever.

Need help to unbrick my phone

Hi,
I have a Note 4 t-mobile that is "brick" right now. and I hope if anyone offer assistance.
It is running Android 6. Ever since the last upgrade the phone would freeze and reboot on its own. I fixed that problem by installing Wake Lock. After that it would still experience sluggish at time but the phone is still very much usable.
Lately, after watching a bit of streaming video the phone would slow down so much that a reboot is needed. But yesterday my last reboot turned my phone into a brick. After that reboot the phone rebooted itself to the download mode. So I took the battery out, waited for a few minutes and put the battery back in and started the phone. Instead of booting normally the phone displayed the message including "set warranty bit: recovery" and then followed by the flashing TWRP splash screen. By "flashing TWRP splash screen" I mean the TWRP splash screen ( with the TEAMWIN logo) would be shown on the screen for a second, then the screen black out for a couple of seconds, then the splash screen is back on for a second, and the screen black out for a couple of seconds, etc, and never successfully boot into TWRP recovery. I had left the flashing splash screen overnight and nothing changed. Connect the phone to my pc via usb and fastboot wouldn't recognize my phone when phone was flashing the TWRP splash screen. So I tried to flash TWRP again by starting my phone in download mode "volume down + power". When I connected my phone to my pc Odin recognized my phone. But when I tried to flash a custom recovery (TWRP or CWM) it seems the download started but never finished (on the phone I could see the progress bar started but never progress further).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated1
Additonal info
I just wanted to add that my phone is still running the stock ROM.
Problem solved
Problem solved. Once I used a different cable and the download process actually worked and I was able to flash stock ROM using Odin.

LG Spirit bricked. Download Mode stucks on error.

Hello everyone,
It's the second time I have a problem with my LG Spirit but now I seem unable to do anything
About month ago my LG was getting stuck on LG loading animation but then I managed to flash it via Download Mode and LG Flash Tool. Everything went fine and the phone was operational till today.
After battery had gone flat I plugged it to recharge but "Security Error" occured.
While plugged in it constantly shows the error message and reboots again and again.
Of course, I tried flashing via Download Mode but in vain. Although Download Mode shows up, a message "Secure booting error. Cause: Boot certification verify." appears, the screen blinks in blue colour and turns off.
Any PC with any USB wire recognizes the LG. Debugging mode is switched on, but no modifications such as TWRP, etc. were ever made.
I also managed to restore default settings, but with no results.
Any ideas what to do?
Thanks in advance
I saw this thread earlier, maybe it can help you?

can't recovery mode

Help
Initially I replaced the LCD. After being replaced with a new LCD, the first use is still normal. But after a while, my device turns off. But after being turned on again, just stuck on the mi logo. Then I tried it repeatedly but still stuck on the mi logo. Then I delete all data and do wipe partitions. But always experience unusual things. Loading cleans the data running, but when it's 5% it arrives directly to 99% and my device turns off again. I have tried many times, but always with the same results. And finally I tried to flash with recovery mode. The process went smoothly and looks fine, after the flash finishes, the device is restarted. But after being restart, after all this time, it just stuck on the mi logo. Then finally I removed the battery and I put it back on. But after I turn it back on, it just stuck on the mi logo again. Finally I tried to enter recovery mode, but apparently what appeared was the inscription 'the system has been destroyed'. And finally I flash using fastboot mode, but the device is still locked. And I have used edl mode too, but always asked for an account that has been authorized. Is there any other way? Please help, because I really need to use this device.
Thank you for those who helped
