well this is exactly why i'm going to think twice before starting a topic in this forum. I wouldn't want a response like this to ever happen to me.
41 more days till n1 yay me
No its just this question has been asked numerous times and if people bothered to search they'd find their answers within 1 minute.
In this case ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=559

I understand. I was going to start a topic asking if I should get my n1 engraved in a few weeks and see if anybody had any good reasoning why I should or shouldn't do it (other than poor resale value and a few other things). But I could just see all the flames now. So I guess I won't.

If you did you would most likely be pointed to this thread. And asked why you didn't search..

lol. Thanks but I did search and I have already came across that thread before. That post is more of "what should I get my phone engraved" and I'd be asking if I should or shouldn't..
I'll just check on other forums to see whats up. Thanks though
The renamed the site Samfirmware.com and are now back. They require you to register to gain access
thank you for the update
The site never went down for me...? Just had to register for it like 5 days ago.

The URL was different and the site was difficult to navigate because you had to fix the links within the site yourself. At least I did.

Worked for me just going to samsung-firmwares.com/firmwares.htm
Still does, actually... Title changed to Samfirmwares, so they're probably redirecting it now.
It was down for me for a while.

It used to point to ht t p://samsung-firmware.webs.com. (copied from my shortcut)
Yeah I think it was just hit or miss on how people either had it cached, bookmarked, or w/e. Either way a good heads up post for people who didn't notice this a few days back.
Good info, I was wondering where it had gone.

I actually just found a Reddit thread where people have successfully emailed LG and received the promo. I just followed suit with a email to LG. Will report back my results. This may make my day.
Seriously use the search function...there's already a thread that was made the day it was announced with all the info that is needed ....

Hopefully that wasn't directed at me. I just replied to this thread. Looks like the OP deleted his original post.
So who/where do you email to try and get this promo if you already bought the phone?

Admins please close this thread.
A duplicate isn't necessary.

He had a post like this previously which was closed because the offer expired.
Edit: Sorry, seems there wasn't a link in there either

http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/pay-as-you-go/htc-one-m8-payg/sku81646-grey I think that's the deal he's talking about.
Sorry, here's a link. I've just ordered one online. http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/mShop/de...vices/deviceListing/filters/selectFilters.jsp
Edit, that link doesn't seem to work, but believe they're there. Go to Vodafone site, click pay and go, then "refine" search to HTC.

That link doesn't work mate, session expired. I linked to the deal I think you were "talking" about.
That's it, don't know what I did. It's easy enough to find within Vodafone web site.
Cheers

I think maybe you copied the link that you were on while buying the phone. If you click continue shopping it goes on about "basket being empty".
Oh well...

I ordered one about an hour ago, don't know how long they'll be there. When I first saw them couple of days ago, they disappeared same day. Don't know how long they'd been available though.

Shouldn't this be in the UK users thread and also it's a duplicate of one previously closed

It might be a "duplicate" but it's relevant. After my first post the offer "disappeared" but today the offer is "back on".
In my eyes, anyway, it's relevant.

Chill dude
Not saying it wasn't relevant but we have a UK users thread discussing pricing availability and anything relevant to UK users. Seeing as this is relevant to UK users only really lol. I thought maybe best in there but hey ho, the mods agree with you and have reopened :good:

Moderator Information,
I have reviewed this thread and decided to close. There is a dedicated thread here for UK users: [UK]Htc One (2014) - UK Users [Chatting,Discussion,Availabilty,Pricing,Etc] While the information in this thread is useful to users, it is best to add it into the above mentioned thread rather than creating new threads each time a deal is introduced.
Many thanks,
