I ordered one about an hour ago, don't know how long they'll be there. When I first saw them couple of days ago, they disappeared same day. Don't know how long they'd been available though.

It might be a "duplicate" but it's relevant. After my first post the offer "disappeared" but today the offer is "back on".

But seriously, it looks like he's doing this across many devices... and since the user is called "ROMBot," it could very well be a spider bot that crawls xda and pulls stuff.
I notice on mine anyways, he/she/it only grabbed the first post... which is odd, because if he/she/it were a human, he/she would've grabbed all the OPs.

As a member of the rescue squad over on those forums, developers are always given credit. Either named directly, a link to XDA or both. If you see that is not the case, please bring it to a mods attention.
I wouldn't worry about it.
I think stoney is they only real person to post there lol.
Would be very surprised to see that forum go anywhere.

i agree that is really wrong!!! these instructions were given to all of us for free. and now its being sold off! i hope ebay bans the guy that is trying to make money off of piracy! i would report to ebay but its not my work being copied and sold.
xda should take action!
I reported it to eBay and also posted a question saying "This information is availabel for free at xda-developers.com", which will appear at the bottom of the page.

Questions only appear at bottom of page if the ebay seller chooses to put them there, not just when anybody asks a question.

People buying this on eBay are most probably not too tech savvy and this can have a positive aspect as well :
-redundant questions will be directed to the seller and not (again) in anew thread here
But if somebody feels bothered by this, the best way would be to pm the buyer with the link to the free rom, this will most probably lead to a bad seller rating on eBay..
I personally don't mind, if I can sell something for $ although it is available for free, I am a lucky person then (or the buyer not too bright)
Maybe I should sell some air in a jar,- have some around here..

Its also another android site that has posted it looking for easy site hits. The only evidence we have seen so far is the leaked butterfly rom and that some HTC people are testing 4.2.2 thats it. No release date no other leaks.

I actually just found a Reddit thread where people have successfully emailed LG and received the promo. I just followed suit with a email to LG. Will report back my results. This may make my day.
