Ok so installed lolipop rom and i wanted to go back to TW ROM so i went into twrp recovery and did a restore for a backup i did. But when it booted up it was frozen at the white t-mobile screen, basically bootloop. HELP!!!

My phone works on Omega 5 and Adam kernel.
after i tried to flash the theme my phone went in a boot loop... After it installed.
After that i reflashed The omega rom and did a full whipe. it fixed it!

I encountered the same too. Luckily I had done a nandroid backup. I simply reflashed back to my backed up stock odexed firmware and all was well.

Hi guys,
I am from india D802. I recently rooted my G2. I decided to install a custom rom, so I flashed TWRP(v2.6) via flashify.
After taking a backup of my current Rom I went on installing OptimusRS Kitkat, but unfortunately the rom got stuck on the boot screen. I wiped the phone tried to restore the backup, but it failed, I realised that the problem was the old recovery. After updating the recovery(to TWRP v2.7) I was able to restore my 4.2.2 backup but the proximity and tilt sensors had stopped working.
I thought it was a ROM issue so I upgraded my recovery to philz(again via flashify) and flashed the Cloudy Pro II. Now the ROM is working just fine but the sensors are still not responding.
Is it because of an outdated baseband? How do I update my baseband? If not please tell me what to do...

yesterday i followed these instructions to flash philz touch 5 (cwm base version: v6.0.3.7) onto a fresh galaxy s4 using odin and then rooted it by installing the two zip files in recovery mode. this worked really well. after using my phone for a while, i really missed the pure android experience and wanted to flash a custom rom from aokp. so i made these steps
download custom rom for i9506 (unified version)
make a nandroid backup of the original rom
wipe data/factory reset -> clean to install a new rom
install zip from sdcard -> select the previously downloaded custom rom
unfortunately i immediately got an error that my phone is not supported by this rom, since it is the ks01lte and not a jflte or jflte***. first i thought that's unpleasant but not a real problem since i have a nandroid backup. so i made a normal factory reset and restored the backup i made before. after it was successfully finished, i rebootet the phone. but since then i don't get passed the white samsung lettering after the blueish circle animation.

fixed it by my self. in case some one runs into the same problem:
i flashed the correct original firmware from here with odin. after that it took a while for the first boot and i had constant force closes. after a full wipe in the original recovery everything was fine again. then i rootet it again. now i've to find another custom rom which actually supports my model and delivers the pure android experience without that touchwiz cr...

I have CloudyG2 v2.2 ROM and have nandroid backup for this rom.
I try installed Simple Rom v1.1 and my phone rebooted after the install and stuck on black screen after LG logo.
I try restore the nandroid backup and the backup wont boot up! stuck on LG logo!
What can I do?

you have to make hard reset .. A power buton + volume down, when you see the LG logo on hold only VOLUME UP AND DOWN....works 100%...this problem happened to my D802..if not work ..yuo have to back to stock very simple whit this LG Flash Tool 2014...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190 after this hard reset and work
If I install Lollipop rom, my device is working but if I install KitKat rom my device wont boot up.
Why? maybe bootloader was changed to lollipop?
for kk ROM you need to flash kk baseband before flash the rom

For Simple rom, you must use http://www.dorimanx.com/LG/default-kernels/KK-20H-D802-BOOT-LOADER.zip
For CloudyG2 2.2, you must use https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407578483
I would do a full wipe and full re-install before using your backup if its not working
I'm to happy about "rom_simple_5.0.1_v1.1" as my phone keeps rebooting
While in the process of restoring a backup on my rooted Galaxy s5 I wiped everything and forgot to install a rom in safestrap. now I cannot get the safestrap splash screen to load up again to install a rom. Is there a way to side boot a rom or just reset the whole device and get me back to normal?? thanks and please help!
This can be closed. I just flash a stock tar in Odin and everything looks good.
