Hi.
I juat bought the European Version without any carreer a few days ago. N910F. As soon i got it i updated firmware to last version with Kies before rooting with Chainfire.
The phone keeps rebooting every now and then without any pattern.
I tried to take use it without the Sdcard and still reboots. Even format the Sdcard so thats not the problem.
I revert back the bloatware i disable too.
I have it rooted and also knox count already quick in so i guess i cant replace it for another one right?
Is there anything usefull info i can try?
Im freaking out as i spent a lot and i didnt use it without a testing for a few days.
Thank you

I was told on here that ROOTING the Note 4 was NOT possible yet. At 1st I thought you could but it would Trip Knox & I was like so What I have Insurance. Then someone told me it was not even Possible on another Thread. IF it is not possible because the Phone becomes Unstable then this could be your Issue. IF it is Possible & you are having some other issue. I just got a New Note 4 today so I would like to know is it possible to Root & NOT have Stability issues myself because if it possible then I want too. I wish I could help you Bud but I truly don't know myself.
I mispoke earlier in the Post. I meant No way to ROOT Verizon Note 4. I have a Verizon Note 4.
Did you check to see if your Note 4 phone model # is in this list below??? If you haven't I would do that Now. If it is someone may be able to help you.

CF-Auto-Root is not yet available for all models - one stock firmwares for these models become available, let me know, and I'll make the corresponding CF-Auto-Roots. Make sure to check the main CF-Auto-Root site as well, as models may be listed there that are not listed here yet!
Thank you so much for the help.
I have been checking all te steps i took. The root seems to be working ok. The sdcard too.
I discovered that some things i recover from my note 3 to the note 4 are not correctly updated. So it messed up instalation of the software that comes with the phone.
It looks like the reverting is working ok but to get my apps and data from the note 3 is gonna take me long.
Lets see if it doesn't reboot until tomorrow.
Will keep posted.
Thank you!
I posted a thread 3 weeks ago about my Note 4 randomly rebooting only when rooted (CF-Auto-Root): http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/note-4-reboots-randomly-rooted-happens-t2944543/
So I think we have the same issue here (details about my problem are in my linked thread above)
Please let me know if you find a fix for this as I will let you know if I do. Mine is not rooted ATM to avoid the annoying reboots.

Hey Everyone,
I have recently bought a new Note 3 from Optus in Australia.
I want to root my device but it appears it is a very uncommon model (SM-N9007) and i cant seem to find any info on how to ROOT this model?

This a very new model of Note 3 so you might have to wait till there will be a solution for it.
In the meantime, could you please help me by installing the app Phone INFO ★Samsung★ and post some screenshots here.
If it is possible try to enter the menu [Note 3] Fake Detector and see what does it say.

Sorry to high-jack the thread.
Does anyone know if its possible to flash the modem from the 9007 to the 9005?
I'm an Optus customer but I bought my Note 3 outright on launch day and I wouldn't mind making use of/playing with
the Optus 4G+ service.
Also the 9007 is running JB. Could I still use the modem with KK?
CF_Auto_Root
I have my fingers crossed that Chainfire will be able to get his hands onto the stock firmware and hopefully release CF_Auto_Root files for the N9007 model.... I want to root this thing !
cf-auto-root N9006
Not sure if this helps but I used the cf-auto-root for the n9005 on my chinese n9006 and it worked!
The N9007 seems to be a snapdragon as well so it might just work! But you'd have to risk it.:silly:

Chainfire just released FC-Auto Root for SM-N9007!!!
Any idea if the 9007 modem will work with 9005?
Or is there more to get 4G Plus support?

I can't say for sure, but I'm suspecting there is different hardware in it.
I've just picked up a Note 3 from Optus, and after many failed attempts to put some N9005 ROMs on it, I've realised that it's an N9007.
With the ROMs I've been trying, everything works but the connection to the carrier itself. I've flashed ROMs for years on many devices, so not a newbie.
My conclusion (that I'm trying to confirm via research) is that the modem is different, and N9005 modem files don't work on the N9007. So my guess would be vice versa.

No problems.
I suspect that when there's any official N9007 ROMs released, the modem files should be able to be extracted, and grafted into an N9005 ROM. Checking Sams Mobile for ROMs each day...

I think this image will be burn on "N9100" whole model.
For example, Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 any other firmware(ex:BTU) can be flash to GT-I9505 (ex:H3G) device.
But I can't found who already success story this burn on China open N9100 model in XDA forums.
If you already success burn on this N9100 hongkong firmware to N9100 China Open device(Not included Google service), Please let me know it wass successful working or not.
Saw this on Sammobile too but haven't tried it yet.
Seems like users on 52samsung are using it:

Couple of reports about the dialer not working properly (replace with another like Baidu or Touchpal), and one report of no signal in the responses.
Think I'd still root again anyway for TiBu and Nandroids via CWM.

Tried this today and so far nothing bad happened. Flashed fine on my mainland-bought n9100 and does include all the Google apps.
Flipboard briefing is now in English, as is recovery and bootloader mode FWIW.
EDIT: SpO2 also now in S Health if that matters proving and sensor aspects are only limited in software (only HR, UV, and Stress are present in the mainland ROM).

So You write whole N9100ZHU1ANK2_N9100ZZH1ANK2_TGY.tar.md5 burn to your phone (include bootloader,modem,...ETC) through odin?
And Phone is working good. Right? Also Knox warranty remain 0x0 ?
I'm too lazy. So I decided to take a risk by replacing my China firmware (Rooted with CWP & Gapps) with N9100ZZH1ANK2 via Odin.
Surprisingly, it works like normal except the dial pad (can't sort out the phone no. by name???....don't know how to fix it. But still it is ok as I can browse on the contact)
1. The whole sets of google services are in there.
2. The briefing is in English version (like some said)
3. Rooted is gone.
3. OTA is working normal now.
4. SuperSU is stopped working...it is fine for me as I usually don't us it.
5. Too bad: Knox is 0x1 now (But it is fine with me as I'm not really care about it)

Regarding 5.: If you were already rooted (as suggested in 3.) then Knox would have already been tripped. Flashing this with Knox intact it shouldn't trip Knox as long as it's an unmodified ROM.
Regardless, I've rooted long ago and had no issues on ANK2 and flashed the updated ANL1 the other day, too.
Much prefer the status bar icons in this ROM (far less wasted space around dual SIM and data icons).
I do note that there's one less 'Application manager' at the bottom of the settings in the HK ROM (3 vs 4 in mainland ROM) and there appears no option to 'Disable on startup' when managing apps (moved to somewhere else?), although you can still disable an app's notifications. However, I use Greenify to auto hibernate apps which I don't often use yet try to run at startup and remain in the background.

Thank you, sir. Finally your suggested link is worked. And now I am using ANL1. Don't feel any differences.
By the way, it is weird that the youtube kept active even if I haven't used it. (Tried to restart the phone, then after finishing the restart for 5 seconds, the youtube is active automatically again.)
I just realize after updating the firmware to HK version, the call recording in dial key is gone. Anybody knows how to get it back??
can somebody tell me if it supports german language?
I see 3 kinds of Deutsch language, do not know if this is the German languge.

genius! german is perfect! Germany, Austria and switzerland. 3 little bit different kind of german!
Many thanks for the information!
And its really that easy to flash the rom? I´m currently in china, just need to go over the street to by the 9100....
It should be easy, just download the ROM then flash with Odin, but take note that Knox will be triggered.

I think most of LG device can do that. Even some of samsung device also can do that but nearly to hard except popular model.
(like GT-I9500 Galaxy S4, GT-I9505 Galaxy S4 LTE.)
i have note 4 N9106W ... dont have playstore, i failed try to flash with this firmware
how to get google apps for my phone?
thanks
same question from me, i bought 9106w, can't install gogle store ...
Hi.. I have a mainland purchased SM-N9100. How do I flash this? via ODIN? I'll be moving to HK soon and I would love for this to work!
Also, I noticed a difference in file size.. on the Samsung site it says the file is 1.6GB, and in the China links you supplied, the size is only 1.48GB. Why the difference?
Of guys you can call me a noob or whatever, but I have noticed finally Samsung has released 5.0.1 for the N910F (Snapdragon variant).
In Australia we only had the opportunity to purchase the N910G. From having looked around online I cannot seem to find any difference between these 2 models (N910F & N910G) except for the region that the handset was sold in.
So my question is, am I able to install the N910F firmware onto my N910G device and still have a working device afterwards?
I haven't experimented much with my N910G as it cost me so much when I purchased it.
I was able to install different region firmwares on my SM-T700 and my GT-i9505 however it seems that back then the devices didn't seem to have region specific model numbers.
Any advice would be most appreciated, thank you for reading.
No u can't install n910f software without having a kernel that's compatible with n910f and n910g like we did in kit kat with nadia or ael. Hopefully won't be long and we will be able too but not yet
from dans galaxy far far away
I downloaded the F firmware and tried to install it to my 910G, no dice. ODIN errors out.
Custom roms will be made that work with it very soon, so i guess we just have to wait for them.
I have been waiting for 5.0 update for months, and I don't even understand why samsung releases so many version of Note 4.
Now, there are so many 5.0/5.01 ROMs for N910F, but none for N910G, seems it will take forever.
I'm sooooooo regret that I got this phone from local phone campany, I should got it from online shop to get a popluar version.
It looks like the N910G version is only for the Australian market. And Samsung just forgets it.

Hello all I just recently purchased a Galaxy Note 4 and I'm trying to install lollipop via ODIN but it keeps failing I think partly because the bootloader shows up as N910T when the phone model is actually N910F european model that was bought in the UK obviously the phoned has been tampered with in the past and I would like to change the bootloader and baseband which are both N910T to N910F however the CSC shows up as N910FXXU1ANK4 i don't understand this?. Try Flashing a stock N910F Kitkat firmware first.
Can you confirm the phone is actually N910F by removing the battery and checking the label?
Of if you are rooted install Samsung Phone Info app from the Google Playstore which might give more insight.

It can be possible, If the device is carrier unlocked the phone still contains some bands which work here in the UK, only Verizon and At&t are less likely to work. My bet is that the previous owner flashed a stock N910F based ROM on-top of a N910T variant. The best you can do is install a de-bloated ROM or remove the apps yourself.

Note: I consider my self a semi-expert but this situation is totally weird.
sorry for necroing this post but i have the same issue with my note 4..
says n910f everywhere (everywhere in the s/w and also on the sticker) but the bootloader is n910t..
all attempts to flash any n910f bootloaders/baseband/stock rom using odin results in emmc write error on aboot.
so is my device a fake n910f ?? (because the sticker says n910f while the phone is n910t bootloader)
or can i switch back to n910f bootloader somehow..

Your phone is masked with n910f but reality is you got n910t t.mobile note 4 and sadly you cannot convert to n910f.
Sticker is faked you have refurbished device.
Its very easy to fake any device even i can do it with root
You will also notice your knox is 0x1 when you go to download mode so it means that someone use root to fake entire device.
Return it now if you bought new with warranty.

Hey Trex, thanks for the reply..
yea it seems like it's a referb but i bought it used for a really good price and everything works with it.
It was such a headache the first day i got it trying to flash anything using odin and nothing worked because i kept downloading and flashing n910f files, I have a lot of experience with rooting/roms but this is the first time i actually didn't know what to do, until hours later when i noticed that in the bootloader it says n910T not F and then everything was good from there.
I won't be returning it as the n910t accepts the same roms as the n910f/g with datafix (i'm using aurora 3.1 for n910f with datafix and it's working perfectly), also the unit i got is like new with 0 scratches and with everything working great so there's that too..

I won't be returning it as the n910t accepts the same roms as the n910f/g with datafix (i'm using aurora 3.1 for n910f with datafix and it's working perfectly), also the unit i got is like new with 0 scratches and with everything working great so there's that too..

The same thing happened to me 3 days ago, mine was a N910S flashed as a N910F. You're a bit more lucky than i was because the N910T is actually the same snapdragon variant as the N910F. I think the whole hardware parts might be identical. How is the battery life? Any battery drain issue? How much on screen-on-time do you get?

I have n910s also with n910c marshmallow rom and works good
I got screen on time about 4 hours
In my opinion n910s better then n910t/f because n910s/c comes with exynos octa 8core 64 bit processor but sadly no good roms available for n910s but if you use stock it works just good as n910c.
Ram management and games lot smoother and also no heating issues at all unlike snapdragon variants.

The one i had was seriously heating up
If you are using low class micro sdcard and battery that can also cause heating issues cuz apps struggle to run and processor need to run at higest frequency.
Do factory reset and try phone without micro sdcard and use for 1 or 2 days
And try another battery if you can.

Your device is n910t and faked with n910f.
Download link for latest marshmallow firmware below
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224395816
Extract and Flash this firmware using odin.
It will not sim lock your device but your phone will be completely n910t and there will be no many languages.i suggest if lollipop is working fine with you then don't update.there is nothing new in marshmallow and it will make your device slower then lollipop.
Thanks a lot tex888 ,,so what i understand the only bootloader that i can install is the Tvariant.
If i nstall a custom recovery can i install a custom rom fr language without problem.
if no i will keep my 5.0.1 with french language
