Every now and then when I start playing music using the Play Music app, the artwork will pop up for every song. If I switch to another playlist or radio station the artwork stops popping up entirely and it's just the normal default background . Is this a bug everyone is experiencing or is it just my unit?

I need a widget that displays the currently playing info (album art, artist, title) from whatever audio app is currently playing. For example is Pandora is playing it shows the album art, artist, and song that is playing or if DoubleTwist is playing, it shows the album art, artist, and song that is playing.
Is this even possible? Anyone up for the challenge? I'd be willing to put up some development money...
Ok, this may well be my fault as made a lot of changes at once but wondered if I could get some advice on this.
I've changed to Revolution 2.0.5 with non-sense patch installed and normal music app. Also changed to media monkey to sync music to my phone which is so much easier than messing with double twist and winamp which screwed up all my compilation albums or made blank playlists.
So when I play a song in the player all artwork shows as expected artwork is saved in the tag and m4a files play fine.
When I use lock screen widget now though it just displays a big green music symbol when previously it displayed the album art.
Does anyone know if there is a setting or anything extra required for this or is there any limitation in the non-sense roms, player still seems to be the htc player?

I generally listen to music as a playlist on my Focus.
However, if for any reason I reboot the phone, the currently playing song is lost and I have to scroll through the playlist manually and resume the song. The music app doesnt have a quick search for the song to resume from.
Is there anyway the playlist can be resumed automatically after reboot?

I am not being able to seek through songs eg. start them from the middle etc, in my Google play music app.
ps: I am a subscribed user of the play music app and whenever i try to seek, it just starts the song from the beginning.
There is no problem with the internet since my roommates are using the same wifi and their app works just fine!
While listening to spotify I can't change, play or pause the song from the lockscreen. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Mine when listening to it on my Google Max and spotify if I change it on lockscreen, it shuts off music to max and says I've started spotify on a different device and then plays off my phone instead. So not same but still an annoying bug
Workaround
I get the same thing when I have the Music FaceWidget enabled. There are a few issues with it and wish it had an option to keep the expanded player open while I have something playing.
Disable the Music FaceWidget and use the Spotify music player on the lockscreen to control the music.
Update:
After updating the Spotify app to v8.5.4.770 - The Music FaceWidget controls are working for me now which is great
