you should have backed up your rom before flashing.
Go to mounts and storage, mount system mount data mount catch.
Format system format data format catch.
go to advanced whipe delvic catch.
Make sure you have the latest cwm installed 6.0.4.9.
if that does not work you will need to use kdz on your pc to return to stock.

you can put your external sd card in your computer to get a rom or cwm zip on it.

So I been installing Rom's lately on my rooted lg g2 D801. I was wondering if there is a way to do a full wipe that clears the storage side as well or would that brick my phone?
Well what custom recovery are you using. For example im using twrp and under wipe you click advanced and check all options including internal storage. Why do you want to do that? Youd then have to push your rom and files via adb in fastboot mode. I wouldnt do that ,but its been done.

You might have old roms you downloaded before installing you could delete. You could also have nandroid backups taking your space you could delete. Try installing nandroid manager from app store and see if it finds backups taking up space and delete them

What I do for a full wipe (with TWRP Recovery) is wipe system, data, dalvik, and cache - Flash my rom and gapps - and then wipe internal storage

Best way is to every now and then use USB otg. Move a backup to it or when you are about to fresh install a ROM put everything on USB otg and then wipe everything including internal. Then install ROM and gapps or whatever and you will have a super fresh internal storage. All folders and misc. Stuff left behind from multiple flashes will be formatted and you will have only what you need

I believe there is option via for ex dr.fone software but unfortunatelly s4 blocking access. Wondering if I flash any non stock rom it will help
if they were stored on the internal and you formatted it, they are basically gone, as i don't think you can mount this in windows, you will only have limited access to certain files via the mtp interface.
if they were on your ext sd card, remove it and use a card reader to connect to your pc and try recovery software?
as have been deleted in stock Recovery I do not believe to be restored
Guys you both right. Still no luck on stock rom. Just wondering if I flash for ex SlimKat will I be able to mount internal storage? Thanks

This is part of how to install SlimKat
Reboot to recovery.
In recovery make a full wipe as per these instructions:
In CWM perform wipe data / factory reset and in mounts and storage section format system.
In TWRP choose advanced in wipe section and wipe dalvik cache, cache, system and data.
Flash SlimKat rom zip.
Flash SlimKat gapps zip.
Reboot, setup and enjoy.
What's up
You will delete,format again,wipe again
before install
I need to talk?
i've read many guidelines, installed stock rom, custom rom... but it keeps on booting in CMW. help anyone?
Did you backup your data and trie factory reset?
Make a backup of your rom to sd.
whipe data factory reset. Whipe delvic cach, mount system, format system. Go to advanced restore from sd, enter the backup file only do systeam restore and reboot your device.
It shuld be working.
Hope this helps

this is my other thread.
Hi guys,
I have a big problem, yesterday I wanted to reset my g2 with the TOT-Method (with the LG Flash-Tool) to stock, unfortunately the "update" stoped with the message "Download FAILD". Before i wiped the entire system with TWRP and after the unsuccessful try to use TOT i wasn't able to mount and format any of the partitions (Dalvic, Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage). After a view retries I somehow managed to successfully mount and format the partitions but when I tried to run the TOT-Method again it finishd again with "Download FAILD!!". Then I looked in the Log he's written under "Download FAILD!!" and it said to every partition he would have written, skiped. After every unsuccessful try to use TOT my phone rebootet and TWRP jumped in.
I also tried to use a TWRP backup to restore my system but the same result came out. My phone boots the LG logo apears and then TWRP boots up.
This is the first time the TOT-Method actually didn't work, so i don't know what to do.
Could it be that i have to manually format every partition myself or is the kernel in some points the problem?
I don't really know so correct me if i'am wrong but i hope for a solution soon.
Thank you in advance for your help.
(And sorry for my probably bad english )

If the tot method fails then try using the kdz method if your device has one.

Hi, I am trying to make a nandroid backup using twrp on my LG G6 H870, but I am unable to do so as the data fails to be mounted. I have tried to repair the partition using twrp but I just get an error 8 and I don't know what that means. If someone could help, that would be great. I am doing this so that I can safely restore to the stock rom from HavocOS.
Thanks
