You can try google play music manager, i use it and it allows me to sync automatically when I buy music from iTunes. I still buy from iTunes cause a lot of foreign music isn't on Google Play

What are you guys using to Sync Music?

Coming from an iPhone I'm looking for something to repalce iTunes. A wireless sync program would be perfect, but wired will work. It also be nice if it could sync with a backup program to make full system backups like the iPhones does.

double twist is free and it works great BUT it doesn't do over the air and I don't know of a service that does this for free. the next best thing (actually better than double twist) is something called missing sync.
Froyo will include ota music as part of the Simplify Media team.
Doubletwist is a great program and I would recommend it to anyone. However, if you don't mind spending a few bucks you can get The Missing Sync which will sync your music right from iTunes through it's own worm whole.
I dont mind getting rid of Itunes...always was a laggy pos.
TuneSync. It's awesome if you're an iTunes user and don't want to re-home your library. It's a background app that will sync playlists over Wifi. Has OSX and Windows versions.
I'm really happy with it. Free version is limited to 20 songs per playlist. I bought the full for like $4.
It will also reverse sync any mp3's bought from the Amazon store on the handset. That's a pretty nice feature.
EDIT: Missing Sync looks cool, but it's $40. Syncs a lot more than music, but if you just want to sync music, TuneSync is your app at 10% of the price.
doubletwist always freezes on me. I use Songbird to sync.
I use isyncr straight from iTunes

I've been using double twist which is almost as much of a dog as itunes is on my machine, but tune sync looks good, I'll have to check that out.

I use dropbox... just trow my music in the folder, and then download them to my music file...

sjwaste beat me to it. I use Tunesync. Syncs with whatever playlists i want form iTunes wirelessly without me doing a darn thing.
drag and drop doesn't work for you?
I haven't bothered to sync a bunch of music, I am mostly using Last.FM android app, but I recommend mediamonkey, just set it up as generic usb device
tho if you have lossless files, on the fly conversion requires the non-free gold version.

I like to lower the bit rate. What I play on my home stereo and my EVO are two different things.
Windows Media Player can sync music as well.
But there's nothing easier than just drag&drop.
Screw iTunes.
iSyncr. Love making playlists on my PC in iTunes, easy to organize songs I want/don't want by checking/unchecking in iTunes. Isn't free but is very easy to use.

[Q] New to Android [iTunes Album Sync]

Hello all,
I am a former iPhone user to just received his Moto Atrix today and I am trying to get some music on the device.
My iTunes library does not revolved around playlists, but instead I use the "Albums" view to play/sync music (to my iPhone). When I sync the iPhone, I have an option of checking which albums I want to sync.
Is there any software I can get/purchase that will let me do this for the Droid. I would like to still use iTunes as my music management software, but sync Albums onto my Atrix. I have tried some software (doubleTwist) but it only allows syncing of playlists (which I don't have). This software would also have to have the ability of playing from the "Albums" on the Atrix.
[See attached for what I would like the application to be able to sync]
Thanks in Advance,
Tom

That's the one I just tried. It only seems to be able to sync "Playlists" and not Compilations/Albums
Sorry I must have skipped that part in your post.
You can try this http://androidforums.com/android-media/139655-how-sync-itunes-android.html

Giving this a try now. So far so good. I am syncing the music now, which is half the battle. Hopefully some music player will be able to "detect" these albums. I will be trying MixZing first.
Make a playlist with everything you want to sync
Or you can download the Motorola medialink software, as it can sync all your itunes musics. Of cause the DRM free one's.

This is essential anyway if you have more music than you have space on the phone, which if you are into music - is likely. In that case, stick to doubletwist.

iTunes agent worked beautifully. I am able to see my albums in the Music player as well as Mixzing.
Cleaned up some album covers that were missing using the free album cover app.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

Best way to get itunes music to N7?

Looking for the recommended way to transfer itunes music to the N7. I don't really want to purchase any converters and I don't have any protected content. It's just that not all files are mp3, and they're in the itunes file formats. Been searching and have ideas, but figured this would be a great place to ask.

Download itunes agent, I've been using it on my incredible S for a year and its awesome and easy
Why not just go to your iTunes music folder under your user profile in My Computer and drag n drop. Shouldn't need to install anything.

isyncr
I use Isyncr WiFi . Syncs wirelessly
Can select specific playlists or everything.
Syncs play counts.
Auto sync at specific time everyday if required.
There is a consolidate library feature in iTunes that will put all music and stuff in iTunes folder.

doubletwist works perfect for me. Give it a try...
I downloaded the google music computer app which will upload all your iTunes music to google music. You can then either stream or download it to your device.

Is that only in the US?
Once you download and setup the app using a US proxy, you can upload and stream the music from anywhere

Playlist Help

So,
I transferred my itunes playlists all ok to my phone.
But I wanted to transfer all my Windows media Playlists as well as I have a large number on their and didn't want to spend hours re doing them all on itunes.
So I did the sync from WMP to my S4 and that went through ok, however none of my WMP playlists show up on Google Music Player / PowerAmp etc.
The only music app that is showing the playlists ok is Samsungs own Music Player App.
Does anyone know how I can get the playlists to show up elesewhere like the itunes ones do in the other apps?
Thanks

Music Sync

What program does everyone use to sync their itunes playlists to their S5?
I've tried isyncr, doubletwist, and different types of file managers but i have been able to find something as simple as itunes and that doesn't mix up my album covers.

Well Sir, That's a good question I would like to know too!
Im tired of modifying music on itunes and later finding the file, then usb/wifi pass it to phone.
If there is a good app for that, I would like to know.
Urm Google music? Download the music manager for the PC and it will sync with iTunes. Just runs in the background and will sync your play lists etc. The Android app will then download the music as you need it. Album art and all.
