2. The Camera picture quality is very low.
3. Multi-window mode isn't working
4.Pen isn't working as it was expected

Download CPU-Z and check the information and post here (don't post IMEI number!)
Also dial *#1234# into your keypad and post the outcome

ja3gxx or ha3gxx? Because ja3gxx is S4, not a Note 3.
hardware mt6572 is likely MediaTek? Because Note 3 has qcom hardware and MSM8974 board (not universal5410)
Try my app Phone INFO and post the screenshots here
I will compare with mine and tell you.

ja3gxx is S4, not Note 3
h3gzc is N9006, not N900
very strange!
Where you bought? It seems yours one is counterfeit fake Note 3.

I think you've been ripped off. CPU Z for me, on a N9005 (but Google says you are meant to be on Qualcom)
CPU Arch - Krait 400
Cores - 4
Rev R2p0
...
Hardware - Qcom
...
Kernel Version different - 3.4.0-2061029(N9005ZHUDMK1)
...
Total RAM - 2440GB
Internal Storage - 26.36DB
I think you have a knock-off version, bot a real one. Unless N900's are significantly inferior to N9005's?

Yes, your phone is a fake one. Here is some reasons:
- device name should be ha3g, not ja3g
- should have Phone colour and Manufacturing date
- should have full CSC INFO (product code, sales code, coungtry...)
- Serial No should NOT be 0123456789ABCDEF (this serial is usually from Chinese fake phone)
- should have Bootloader version, and all other verison info
So your phone is a fake one from China, most likely.

Believe me, it's a fake. You have to return it back to the shop.
And the Cores in the CPUZ should be 4 (quad-core), not 2 (dual-core)
It is a duplicate Note 3...U r cheated my frnd...Really bad...Note 3 has 3gb ram nd 32 gb internal storage capacity...cup is octa core or quad core not dual core

The fakes out there at the moment, particularly the ones with MediaTek processors, are very good fakes. But as stated above this is 100% a fake device.
To 100% check this, you will notice on the bottom of your phone you only have a MicroUSB port and not a USB 3.0.

I am trying to switch my Galaxy S8 to diagnostic mode, which I seem to be able to do, the diagnostic port and the modem port shows up in task manager, yet QPST is not able to recognize it.
Here is what I did:
1. Dialed *#0808#
2. Selected RNIDS + ACM + DM + ADB
3. Hit OK.
After this, the modem, ADB and DM ports came up in device manager, and the drivers were installed.
QPST is not able to detect the phone automatically, and even if I add the relevant ports (modem and DM) it is not able to recognize it ("No phone" under "Ports" tab).
Does anyone has any idea what else should I try?
Thanks!
QPST only works on Qualcomm modems; the F does not.

Are you sure the F version does not have a Qualcomm baseband? I highly doubt Samsung is able to build a Cat 11 baseband, so even the Exynos based S8 models must have a Quacomm baseband in it.
Can someone confirm this? I am interested about the baseband only, not the application processor.
Thanks!

Shannon355 modem.
I found that S8, S8+ and Note 4 (any variant) will get its diagnostic port closed once we flash any custom kernel. Only a "virgin" device have it opened.
Anyone can confirm about this? Any way to re-open it?
Regards

What they said, 100% positive it does not have a qualcom modem. The fact that qualcom essentially forces everyone to purchase their snapdragon soc instead of just a modem is the reason that n American s8s are snapdragon instead of exynos

There's 2 opinions here, 1 being that an exynos firmware won't work on snapdragon device, which I personally believe is true but people have also told me there's nothing saying that you can't, but no one even though telling me that it can be done has actually shown me it being some successfully. I stick with my belief that it won't work.

I understood that, it could be possible but nobody tried before, the problem isn't the firmware, the phone just need a custom kernel that could interpret the exynos instructions and the snapdragon anatomy. In the note 5 the variant change can be possible but the note 5 don't have a snapdragon variant
I did my question 'cause there isn't many custom ROMs for the g950u variant
Thank you for the reply

Snapdragon bootloader is locked bar the Chinese version, so until they somehow do that, you won't see custom roms or kernels
They're different processors. It won't work.
You can flash W or U1 fw on a U and U on a W or U1. All American models are the same hardware so they're interchangeable.

That's not true. They are both arm64 v8 processors, meaning they will both execute arm64 machine instructions. It's like Intel and amd, they both implement x86_64. You don't need a different version of Windows for Intel vs amd, nor do you have to download different programs for one vs the other.
Even kernels do not have to be different. There is no reason that support for any hardware differentiation between the two models (of which there are few outside the soc itself) could not be part of the same kernel. PC Linux servers boot on tens of millions of machines of probably millions of unique hardware configurations using the same kernel, and since they are both running touchwiz the HAL (the primary differentiator between Android and traditional linux) will be identical
Your primary limitations with this is the locked bootloader, and the fact that apparently custom rom devs do things that require specific kernels. Since you can't boot a custom kernel, it may prove difficult. I havent tried so I can't say for sure
Hahaha right. Go ahead and listen to this guy. Flash F firmware and let us know how it goes.
Hi,
I recently bought a S8+ (Exynos) from a Korean friend..
It works fine but constantly ask for roaming cause I'm not in Korea.
so I tried to install Official firmware SM-G955F with Odin but it didn't work.
I have to install the official firmware SM-G955N again to be able to use it and also I could root it.:fingers-crossed:
It is possible to change the firmware from SM-G955N to SM-G955F?

No, yours is snapdragon, g955f is exynos. You can't flash firmware from that model since they have different chipsets

SM-955x specs
This is just an FYI for anyone else that might read this thread looking for info.
It is correct that many of the SM-9500 (S8) and SM-955 (S8+) variants (US, Canada, Japan, China, Hong Kong) use the Snapdragon 835 chipsets but all of the variants of both S8 and S8+ that the whole rest of the world got all use the Exynos 8895 chipset. That's a ton of phablets. There's a lot of misinformation out there but if you look at the spec sheets that Samsung has themselves supply as well as the official Wikipedia page, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Another for instance, I've seen lots of sites that say the S8+ has 4GB of RAM which is only true of the 64GB version. The 128GB version has 6GB of RAM.
If you look around on XDA and a handful of other sites, people have flashed different CSC's with varying degrees of success. I have no idea where the issue stand currently, but I am working on figuring out what I'm going to do with my SM-955N variant right now. I don't need it working completely ATM as I still have my daily driver but I will be rooting (no warranty anyway since it was imported) and flashing. I am playing around with it and so far everything works great. I just haven't gone as far as getting it on the network as my SIM is one of those that can be resized to different sizes. It's currently a MicroSIM and once I snap the edge off to make it a NanoSIM I can't go back...without some super glue LOL! I'm not sure I want to risk that just yet as I don't want any of that glue getting inside my phone.
I have no idea in this situation. Anyone can help me?
I bought a second-hand Samsung galaxy note 4. The seller told me that is n910f and also shown in the Setting, About device
But the problem is I can't update from lollipop android 5.1.1 to android 6.0.1 marshmallow officially
The seller do not accept return goods so that I can't get the money back.
As I know the process of N910F should be Qualcomm Snapdragon 805
But I use cpu-z app to check the phone which is not n910f , the processor of that phone is Exynos Octa 5433 , the bootloader is N910SKSU2COL1 and the label behind the phone after remove the battery is N910A ?
How can I know the original variant of this phone, plz help
which stock rom, bootloader and modem I should flash ?
Should I follow the label behind the phone?

I highly doubt it's an AT&T model N910A with fake N910F software.
Most sellers they modify the software because N910F has more demand in market then usa models because N910F has more 4g/LTE bands and fully unlocked variant.
You can still update to marshmallow with N910A firmware but there are some disadvantages such as
1 No multi languages
2 Lot of At&t apps bloatware
3 Apn settings for sim card data you have to set manually.
4.no data toggle in quick toggles.
5.no software updates unless you have AT&T sim card.
This is the 6.0.1 marshmallow firmware link for N910A
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754459333
If you want to know the correct model just turn off the phone and go to odin download mode.
Press 3 button all together for 5 seconds ( volume down button+home buttun+power button) until it shows warning screen then press volume up .
In download mode you will see the motherboard original model SM-N910 on top left corner.
Same as in picture below.
