Another U series watch from Uwatch. Supposed to be upgrade from U8. Seems to use same software/apk.
Watch was working fine initially after installing the apk (first day)...could make and receive calls...notifications...
phonebook, camera never worked with my galaxy note 2
Now, everytime the watch connects via bluetooth, it connects at first (with apk connected notification), but then I see the goodbye screen (for a split second), and the screen goes dark...I then push button to "wake" watch and it goes thru the bluetooth connection process again...and disconnects. Seems like once the watch connects and sees the apk, the watch does a mini reboot (not like full powercycle where you get the sounds of the shutdown and restart).
If I connect the watch without the apk, it doesn't do this. If I uninstall and reinstall the apk, this happens again. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Figured it out myself...with help of forums on the U8Pro.
Figured since the interfaces and watches are very similar...went to the U8Pro forum.
Unistalled the apk that the U10 has you install. Tried installing the bt.smartwatch (by rwatch) found on google play. Now works again. Still limited functions...but at least the notifications and receiving calls part works! Overall happy if this continues working for the price of about $55

You may want to try the U10 apk from the download ftp site. I've posted this to another U10 forum, "U10 U Watch Review - not a bad smartwatch". It's the latest version 7.1.3 of the apk and gives you the most features including camera with real time preview on watch screen - this feature is quite rare with other similar apps.
Hello. Could you give the link please. Thank you.

Do you have a firmware for U10 that support Traditional Chinese (not Simplified Chinese) and English ?
If so, please post the link.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

For some reason, my phone and ZenWatch 2 randomly un-pair then try to pair a few seconds after. The weirdest part is that even this happens smart lock gets disabled. I have to be turned back on and add the watch as a trusted device again. It happens maybe once a week and while not a big deal, it is starting to get annoying.
Both are running the latest firmware and Android release. I have performed factory resets on the watch but I'm trying to avoid doing do on my phone. The watch is missing from the bluetooth devices menu do it's not an Android Wear app connection issue. Has this happened anyone?

I don't have a ZenWatch... I have a Pebble Time so I can't really help you but I did have issues trying to get mine to pair and not showing in the bluetooth screen. I found that I had to go into the watch and the settings / bluetooth before the watch would "broadcast" and be available to be "found" in the bluetooth list so that may be one thing you can check with the Zenwatch .. have the settings for the bluetooth open on the watch then try to find it on the Axon 7. I also couldn't pair it in that spot ... it kept giving me a "passcode" error. I had to go to the Pebble app on the phone and pair it through the app.
As for the random unpairing ... sorry to say I don't really have any suggestions on that .. that may be the watch itself ... my pebble has never unpaired once it has been connected.

I didn't have this issue with my last phone (HTC m9) so I don't think it's the watch

sorry for replying and giving you hope you had an answer ... I figured I would just relay my small issues because I never had those issues with my old Galaxy but had a bit with the Axon. Plus the Pebble doesn't use android wear so I really haven't had any experience with it ... sorry again for not actually providing any real help
I had the same issues with zenwatch and zenwatch 2 on different phones. So I just returned them. I assumed the zenwatch's just wouldn't work on Samsung devices. So maybe similar for you is and isn't the watch.
I currently have Samsung gear s2 working fine with phone. (There is issue with phone calls but that is great software issue on every phone other then Samsung)
I had the same issues with my zenwatch2. First the bluetooth devicelist on the phone was empty,no paired devices, i had to do a reset on the watch and pair it new.
This week i had the reconnect issue so i deactivated the audio playback in the zenwatchin settings, now everything works fine.

I'll give that a try
Hey guys,
I got my K88H last week, and I've been trying to get it to work with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro (intl) but I'm rather baffled by the way it is detected.
Bluetooth-wise, it is detected twice : once with the bluetooth icon (settings only allow to unpair or rename), and once with the keyboard icon (can set as input device, contact sharing, and phone/media audio).
If I want to access my SMS (which incidentally does not work, as I get a "Currently not support" message), it asks me to connect using BT, and activates the second entry (keyboard icon), even if the first was already connected. The first one looks like it is enough for notifications, though, and it is the one recognized by the Mediatek app (displayed in the "My Device" section).
Is there any kind of real documentation regarding the Mediatek SmartDevice app somewhere?
Does anyone have any clue as to how this stuff is set up?
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dan
well i have a oneplus one phone and it doesnt let me see any of my sms. all other stuff works correctly. anyone that can access their sms??

Have you tried the Fundo Wear app? I could see my SMS, but the rest of the app was very subpar (always losing connection, no automatic reconnect, ...)
The plot thickens : after switching to Galapad Smartwear (virtually identical to Mediatek), SMS worked. Switching back to Mediatek, and it still works, but ... I have to allow the BT connection for phone audio. If I disable phone audio and media audio, the BT connection drops as soon as I try to read my SMS.
I bought this watch thinking it was compatible with android wear, it turns out it is a phone in the shape of a watch. (I didn't know this was a thing).
So what can I do with it, I wanted to answer my calls on it (whatsapp calls too), change tracks/pause my music, but no luck Anyway I can flash this or something? Bear in mind I am completely new at this. Best I can do is put in a usb and stransfer files.
edit: I am using watch droid phone app
Also I've gone a walk and all it does is disconnect. Reconnect. Disconnect. Reconnect
Hi, after update to pie (january 8), mi phone keep droping connection whit my smartwatch (garmin tactix bravo), cannot connect with bluetooth speakers( always need reboot), and when get connection the volume its very low.
Someone has this problems? im waiting for a quick update with solutions...... a smartphone without bluetooth really sucks.
Same here with Fenix 5. Keep dropping connection but Connect restores it. Notifications are broken, only sync with connect is preety ok. For sure its something with battery guard or maybe this Pie's smart battery.
BTW i turned off battery optimization for Garmin Connect - no changes

I have a Fenix 5, too. Same exact symptops. I additionally tried to:
* disconnect/reconnect bluetooth,
* use Device Connection Aid setting in Garmin Connect app,
* remove all stored paired devices in my Bluetooth and re-pair (not repair, but pair again),
* reboot phone and watch,
* grant all Garmin Connect app permissions, including advanced ones,
* erase cache and storage of Garmin Connect app and
* reinstall Garmin Connect app
with no avail. The symptoms you describe are unvaried.

Yeah , if u want , try Los 16 , PE latest, CrDroid latest , They are stable , battery backup and performance is really good.
I have same issue with Fenix 3HR and Pie on Mi A1.
From what I saw on Garmin forum, it seems to be a broader issue with Pie, not just something with Mi A1, so Google/Garmin need to come with real fix for this.
I tried the suggested workaround, but I still get intermittent disconnections of Bluetooth which lead to watch's battery depleting too quickly.
Only thing that helped for me is switch from a CIQ watch-face to built-in watch face, and then battery drains a bit slower, but still faster than before Pie.
Try it: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/int...ile-android/1389025-android-pie-problem/page3
Important is to make bluetooth pin entered directly on Connect App, not in system. Follow the steps, it works.

For me, Connect App had message: check for notification to accept pairing (or something like that), so it forces me to input the PIN there....
Because you dont read post carefully. While you have connected your Garmin to Connect App (which is disconnecting all the Time) - go to System->reset option->reset wifi cell bluetooth and do the reset. Now go back to Connect, now it should prompt to enter pin, if not - turn on pairing Mode on your Garmin. Dont pair it with system, only with Connect.

I thought I had read carefully, but did not understand the post like you explained it. I had done the 2nd reset of Wifi/Bluetooth before completing the first pairing, and in that case it never prompts for the PIN in the app.
With your explanation, I've now been able to enter the PIN in the app, I'll see if connection is now stable.
Thanks for clarifying.

I have been using it for weeks and its really stable. On the other hand I have never seen that problem on any custom Pie's ROM.
Hopefully next update will permanently fix that.
After a fresh install of stock firmware 9.0 with miflashtool everything it's working correctly, bit after a hours smartwatch begin loose connection randomly and the volume through Bluetooth speakers it's low.

I confirm it seems ok now, Watch Battery is back to normal, even with a CIQ watchface.
This said, this is not a pure Xiaomi issue, the thread on Garmin Forums clearly mentions at least Nokia and OnePlus too...
Not sure if it's a pure Pie issue, or if this can be linked to OEMs killing too much background processes... https://dontkillmyapp.com/
I have a problem with my car stereo unit, after PIE update I have to re-pair my phone and the car every single time. Tried to clear Bluetooth memory on the stereo without success.
The strange thing is that if I enable "Battery Saver" on the phone, the connection seems to run fine!
Same problem but with AirPods
Hi everybody. I have a problem with my smartwatch Mibro T1. I can connect my smartphone with the Mibro T1 to receive a call but after a few minutes, it disconnects automatically (the bluetooth is always activated on my phone). In fact, i can't pick up the incoming call after that. Someone can help me please? Thanks

Can you give me your phone model please?
I tried to connect with an iphone 14 pro and it was running correctly. It didn't disconnect automatically. So i think it's a bug for android OS.
I'm connecting it on Samsung A12 128gb.

I've also tried locking my mibro app and have it unrestricted on background usage. but still it disconnects
Okey, for me, i can't connect the bluetooth audio from the phone parameters. I need to active it from the Mibro fit app. So, I think, it comes from the application.

My normal calls are showing on the watch now. But not the WhatsApp ones. Could be due to some error in Mibro application
how do you do it? to keep audio bluetooth always connected.
