The star symbol appears when you have priority notifications on. Press the volume up button and you'll see. Read more here

Okay, you mean when in SMS mode.
The thing is simple: You have to chose the SMS you want to forward first. Use the D-Pad to highlight the wanted message in light blue and then use "forward".
I try to select before but the forward still disable.

Hm, let's try it step by step.
Open the SMS-browser. Then open a conversation with the person you want.
Then you are in the chat-screen like on your second screenshot (the one that mentions "conversation with xxx").
There you have your cursor blinking on the bottom inside the typing screen.
Now use the digital pad (hardware cursorpad) to press up.
The blinking cursor on the bottom should have disappeared now and the first sms message should be highlighted with light blue.
Now press menu on the screen and "forwarding" should be possible.
Ya. It can. Thank skycamefalling so much.

Change Tray clock to digital

I have a HD mini and have somehow managed to change the clock n the tray to an analog clock the problem is the power icon is over the top and I can't see how to change it back I assum it was digital before. I have seen some posts about holding on the clock but as the power icon is over the top all i get is the notifications manager. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks.
How did you do it ?
If you tried to fix the registry or something . Just change the value back.
--------------
I couldn't figure it out.
Had to clear the Phone - restored it to original settings.
Please include proper instructions/warnings from next time

Wow, it works, but effectively in my ROM version 136.xxxx the analog clock is hiddend by the power icon and become unusable.
For whose they do not understood :
When the screen is LOCKED, the top bar apears. You press on this top bar for a while and when you relase it you receive a menu permitting to toggle the clock from analog to digital or reverse.

[Q] Nexus 4 Paranoid Anroid Status bar

I've searched the internet for too long...I know this is a noob problem, but I removed my status bar from paranoid android immediately after I flashed it and I can't figure out how to get it back D:
Is that bar on the bottom missing too? If so, hold power button, click on 'disable PIE mode'.

Quick connect won't turn off

When I pull down the notification shade and tap edit it gives me the option to turn the quick connect bar off. I turn it off and tap done but it's still there. What does this toggle do? Is there another way to remove it?

It works for me. Keep in mind it only removes it when you first pull down the notification shade...if you pull it all the way down, it'll still be there.

Thank you! Is there any way to remove it completely? I'd rather not have two square inches of useless bloatware in my notification shade.

What does this symbol mean?

This symbol (between the Bluetooth and the VPN symbol in the pic) appeared in my status bar, I have no idea what it means, have never seen it before. Can anyone help and tell me what that is?
Do not disturb. It's in the sounds notification.

Thank you, that was it. I've never been using that as I prefer to manually set silent mode if needed, seems like I activated it accidentally.
