Since a couple of days my note 3 N9005 drains my battery extremely fast ( 1%-2% per 2minutes) I was using the Hyperdrive Rom RLS6 and there my battery was still at around 60%at the end of the day ( i use my phone a LOT the whole day ) but i never was a fan of touchwiz so i got me the Slimkat remix V2.1 and it now just kills my battery. I tried fully discharging ( my phone did not even boot so empty was it ) and recharged it fully,then i used the battery calibration app from the playstore but still nothing.
Using Philz latest recovery and the latest Zion kernel with the conservative Governor.

hi guys i almost search every thread of battery drainage but from no where i got any solution.......after a lot of research i resolve my problem my self...........my battery of phone drain very rapidly then i download Go launcher pro and install it on my phone use this whole day as i use daily.....i m shocked to that my phone battery status is 80% remaining after using my phone 17hours 43min and 55s..........its really amazing......this thing work for me.......i m going to love it coz last time my battery drain into 12 or more than hours.........if u have problem then my advice to atleast try this thing once.........hope u ll get better results
SHould some faulty app , i had 2.1 2.2 and 2.3 on the phone i did never noticed such a huge drain , the phone was always quite enough for a full day of usage .

Battery drain depends on the ROM ( kernel )you are using!
JYP ROM 2.3.4 ( e.g. Ficeto , Criskelo etc ) battery drain is almost not a problem at all . Battery can last up to >3 days depending on the usage .
I installed the Master CPU. Battery lasts 3 days.
I am moved from 2.2.1 on 2.3.4 JVP Chainfire kernel and I have no battery drain at all.
I think battery life increased 50% minimum. Standby on 2.3.4 is amazing
as if 2.3.4 is a little better
Hi, i would know which rom has the best battery life for the i9505.
I'm currently on DanVDH 5.0 Lollipop rom, which is awesome but the battery life isn't that good : With only wifi on, airplane mode on, brightness between 30-50%, and normal use (Chrome, sociak networks, some dl and videos), i can't get more than barely 3h30 of screen on time, sometimes 4 hours but not so often.
So, which rom (and maybe kernel) would you recommend ? I'd love to get at least 4 to 5 hours of screen-on time.
Im using the CM12 Lollipop 5.0.2 Build from Antares and got between 4-6h Screentime, without problems any way more usage as you.
Maybe your battery is ... dying?
It can't be the battery dying, it's a S4 black edition which isn't old.. And in stock rom it used to last way much longer :/

I am pretty heavy user and tired of changing my phone just because battery life.
It might be that my battery is f'd up but I somehow doubt it
I charged to 100 at night and woke up to 85 after 7 hours
I am attaching all scrrenshots from battery stats and battery.
Phone is decloacked to 2.2 ( whereas the default in du is 2.8 ).
I even have written this thread in about 5 minutes and already lost more then 5 percent… and btw im on a low brightness… ( and changed back to hdspa because of reception )

I use rr with heart empty battery full app and I get approx 2 days of charge
I used RR until yesterday, used it 4 days. All screens from battery time are here (click on "Bateria" to see them).
how long your battery last longer until charged ? mine just 2hours. battery was new orginal by samsung.

Depends on what ROM I use. I was using Phronesis Android 6 and the battery was good, it lasted a couple of days. Lately I've been trying CM14 based Android 7 (tried Official LineageOS (no sim, didnt bother fixing) and I'm using trader418s LineageOS atm) and it hardly lasts a day. Is there something wrong with the new Android or is it the ROMs? Is there a good Android 7 rom that doesnt kill battery for Note 3 ?
Edit: Installed Validus and it seems the battery is too good, only used about 12% all day. Will have to keep an eye on it.
