The circle one next(left) to my alarm clock. It only shows up flashing at lockscreen... It just started showing up in the last week. I have had an update... like 4.4.4 i think

Something is weird for my P3650 from this morning, it never happened before:
When i turn off the display and turn on again, the clock will be adjusted from the time my turning off the display to the recent cerrect time immediately.
I just reinstalled the official ROM and the bepe's 0.58 with SIM or without SIM, but no effect.
Anybody can explain it and help me?
Which clock are you talking about? The large one in HTC Home? If so, mine's been that way since day 1 with the stock ROM. So I don't know if it's normal or not but I assumed it was. Not really a problem though.
I mean the time display @ HTC home or any other themes.
I just confused why it happened first-time this morning, but absolutely never happened before.
Anyway, 10x buddy!

yeah, it's called a Real Time Clock for a reason.
or do you like your clocks to lose time or something?

Course not!
I just hope the time can adjust automatically eventhough the LCD is turning off.
The really reason confused me is why it happened start yesterday, not the 1st day i bought it.
Is there any way to remove the sleep screen that comes up every time the phone comes back from sleep mode?
I'd rather it just went to the homescreen.
No, thats why it's called a lock screen... It prevents your butt from making phone calls accidentally if it's in your pocket.
Actually check out the app No Lock in the app market.

Oops, silly me thinking no one has already found a work around for this Sorry for my partially wrong answer. I should have said "No, not with the stock software".
Thanks guys,
I've got bigger fish to fry right now, though. Just got it last night and stopped getting a data signal this morning. It just says current location and it's blank and I can't get my email.
Does the alarm function as it should even when the phone is turned off?
Thanks

I'd love to know this as well, my International S2 was never able to do this with the stock clock app which is a PITA.

Erm.... Just a thought.....excuse me for been so way out there with this but keep with me here.....
How about setting your alarm on your phone for 2 minutes from now.... then, wait for it.... switch your phone off and see what happens in 2 minutes?
lol, I don't own one yet. I'm still on the fence about buying one or maybe waiting to see what the mysterious XFON will be like if it ever comes out.

I've done that when my phone was in ICS 4.0.3 and even now on 4.0.4 and it doesn't work. I even did it again, as in just now and set it for 2 minutes but 5 minutes has passed and the phone doesn't alarm on. Yes, I'm still in ICS because I'm still waiting for the official push to JB in my country.
Well I tried on I9500 and it does not work
Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of turning the phone off?
If you need it to be off, instead,,turn off the radio (airplane mode).
So am I the only one who has this lock screen clock "stuck" at a time time problem?
I am literally disgusted by this issue! It happened on the S4 I had, and I thought Samsung definitely has solved the problem but nah they didn't.
The problem is, the lock screen clock gets stuck at a time, and doesn't update with system time. No, it doesn't happen always, but it could happen at a time which could be really important, just like it happened today. I went to bed at 1 a.m, checked the phone when I temporarily woke up, the lock screen clock showed 3:44 a.m. I went back to sleep, suddenly I felt that there's a glimpse of sunlight on my windows, and checked the phone again, and it was actually 6:44 a.m.
Seriously speaking, I am fukcing tired of this problem. No I don't depend on the phone's lock screen clock, but the only time I check it is when I am in bed, sleeping, and that's when the problem has happened today.
Is there really no solution of this? Using a third party lock screen app or what?
Damn I am annoyed!
Maybe get a note 4?

Most likely you have Greenify-ed something that you should have not.
This happens sometimes, yes. Annoyed me to no end on my S3.
Personally I use Zooper Widget as a lockscreen. (if you set multiple widgets and create a second widget page, you can delete the default lockscreen page by longpressing and dragging it to the bin at the top..) I've not seen Zooper have this bug

Check any battery save application that you might use. I had the same problem and it was due to an application that was saving battery. Sometimes this happens when i had the power saving mode too.

All right. Does this Zooper Widget support SMS pop up and missed call notifications like stock Samsung lock screen?
I have no idea how to use a widget as a lock screen anyway

I do NOT have any battery saving applications installed. If there's one thing I don't care about in mobile phones, that's battery life. So Greenify, and all those apps are not in my phone obviously.
Just updating the topic with a screenshot of the problem which I was talking about. Was lucky to snap the screenshot yesterday before going to bed, cause usually as soon as I press the home button to take the screenshot the time use to update.
Hello.
Just updated my phone to android 8, but after this I have a strange bug unlocking my phone with fingerprint. Sometimes my phone does not unlock at all.. I get the haptic feedback and the bottom buttons light up, but the screen remains black. And sometimes it works.. Don't know why this is happening. Anyone have a clue?
My phone has got same issue. Any fixes ?
I worked around it by disabling always on display. Try it
Mine does the same , and i also disabled the "always on" - but i liked the clock was shown when phone screen was not "idle" - would certainly like a work around to get this on again....
