Hi all,
I have a SM-G900F Galaxy S5. In Stock ROM (BL Locked) the phone suffer random reboots, the phone crash like 2 seconds an then reboots, no mater what are you doing (Using S-Health, Youtube, Phone...) So I've tried unlocking BL and installing a Custom Stock ROM with the same behaviour. Switched to CM11 and the phone reboots less times, but it still crashing and rebooting.
I've tried to to a logcat dump but it only shows a error with the light detector.
Should I try something more to detect where is the error?
Regards,

Been having this problem with the latest 4.4 kitkat roms, (GE & AOSP)
when i was back on my old bootloader (whatever it shipped with) and modem (XXUEMJ5) i would always get a random force shutdown when just using my phone through daily use, it would either:
A) Boot for a short time with several apps having lost all their data (such as usernames and passwords). Then shortly after shutdown again into a constant bootloop. (Upon entering Recovery the phone would display 0% battery)
B)Shutdown into a bootloop only recoverable by wiping the /data partition or reflashing the rom (or any other rom).
So then i heard good news from the new bootloader and modem from the XXUFNA5 Leaks throughout the forums and decided to flash them and also test the leaked TW rom. Being me the rom was laggy as hell and i quickly reverted back to Jamal's 4.4 RC 1.1
Unfortunately the force shutdown bootloop problem continued but when it would shutdown i could plug the phone into a power source and boot without problems? not very convenient if you ask me.
just recently i flashed Brood's AOSP pre-RC4 which was working fine until i was signing into some apps then it force shutdown and as i tried to boot the phone went to "Updating apps 1 of 1" and then instantly shut down again.
I went into recovery and wiped /data, /cache and Dalvik then rebooted, the phone would reach the final stage of booting (just before the lockscreen shows) and would reboot and repeat the process all over again.
I went to flash a different rom so i could atleast have a working phone for the day and upon fully wiping, etc. the phone would not boot and continue the reboot process. i suspected a bootloader problem so i reflashed the bootloader and roms now boot. im guessing the bootloader was corrupted somehow and i think the process will just repeat itself.
Anyone got any ideas? I'm stumped and frustrated as the process of setting my phone back up every day is getting extremely boring.
Hello All
My Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) keeps on freezing then rebooting in an unusual way.
The problem is intermittent, it would constantly happen in certain periods and happen less frequently in other periods. At the moment, i can beerly use my phone for 1 minute before it does it again and again. And in this minute apps are just crashing. I get the pop-up messages of applications crashing. I tap ok only for the same message to instantly reappear.
Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped
Unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped
The issue would happen when the phone is in sleep mode (screen turned off), while im using it, in safe mode or even when its rebooting or on the splash screen.
I am using the original battery and charger that came with the phone and never flashed or rooted my phone. I have however had to flash it couple of months ago after it bricked all by itself. I used one of the firmwares from www.samsung-updates.com
See this video to understand exactly what is happening

1. It seems you recovered one image of one backup with the recovery.
2. SOLUTION: Reflash the firmware through ODIN. The latest for your phone is this one: HERE.

Try to flash firmware package with the latest version of ODIN and Sammy drivers, also use the original cable that came with the phone. Often, cables that aren't Samsung genuine fail to flash firmware.
If this doesn't solve your problem, then you might try a firmware reflash with PIT file. If nothing works, your processor (or motherboard) it's likely fried. Take it to a service centre

I have a G901F (Galaxy S5 LTE+), that is running Android 4.4.4 stock rooted.
Many times, especially when I use the phone a lot, and it probably gets hot, the screen freezes and after 2-3 seconds, the phone reboots.
I have tried restoring to factory defaults, and removing the SD card, with no success.
I am attaching two last_kmesg from the reboots. The relative message I found in them is "Kernel panic - not syncing: Pingpong Timeout".
If anyone could read the messages and help me, I would be grateful. Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I have been using my N910G with DN5 rom by Dr.Ketan. Later when I had issues like device lagging, I flashed it with the stock rom from sammobile which is the australian version. BOH4
Now, everything seems fine, but the device restarts on its own, sometimes just gets stuck and I have to remove the battery and start the phone again. Most of the times, it gets stuck, vibrates twice, immediately restarts.
How else can we fix this issue? Please help!
Same like me,and it's usually appear kernel panic after the device restart..im using australian versiol COL3. Anybody can help?
hi guys i have an issue with my device (i9500) since i had a bad efs partition which i successfully restored from a backup.
The device works perfectly, but as soon as you lock it, and wait a few seconds, you can't unlock it anymore. Screen stays black, and the only way to get it started again is by removing the battery. Then it keeps on working perfectly, apps, games, everything is fine, as long as you don't lock it (by pressing powerbutton or auto lock)
Either then it crashes or restarts.
Things i've done already:
- Soft reset
- Hard reset + cache wiped
- tried many different roms
- fresh stock rom installed with Odin.
Problem still persists.
I've recently discovered that I don't have this problem on miui 7 running on 4.4 2. But as soon as I install flyme which is on 5.0.1 or any other lollipop rom or even stock lollipop then the phone either crashes while I'm using it or freezes at lockscreen and I can't unlock it. Please help guys cause I really wanna get back to my flyme rom on lollipop.
