Hi,
Not sure if this is the right forum to post this but I am looking to purchase the GN2 as my first Android device when the US carriers eventually carries it. Could someone explain what the difference between the Android Development vs the Original Android Development subforums? TIA!

First of all it should go to Questions and Answers subforum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1792).
Android Development needs you to post your own port, modifications to the roms/kernels, but you have to keep in mind that you shouldn't post anything that you haven't modified/created yourself (posting links to a rom that you can't support).

Original Android Development requires you to post your own work, usually made from scratch, which you can't find in other roms.

Moto E
Total XDA Android Development Repository
Hello community! Welcome to the Repository of ROMs of the Moto E Android Development Forum.
First of all, which ROMs are included here? Well, I just searched and chose the active threads (even if the ROM doesn't have any recent updates, the thread should at least remain active, with constant feedback from users and devs) but this isn't a must. But for no activity in the thread for at least two months will be marked Outdated or with relevant marking in the list. Please remember, the most important thing is to read the thread of the ROM that you choose, take a look at the benefits, user reviews, bugs, FAQ, etc. The Index is listed randomly so as to remove any biased listing conflicts and start a thermo-nuclear wars among users.

No new ROMs?
I want to try out the Android L Developer Preview, but I don't have a Nexus 5. Are there any ports for the One (M8)? If there's not, please make one.
Thread closed,
Thread has been closed as there is an existing thread in the general section here: Android L discussion thread about android L.
Many thanks,

Please take a look at the FAQ for Omni ROM. It has a lot of suggestions about where to find or get support for your device...like:
Q: Will you support my device?
A: Just like with other projects, for a device to be supported requires that it have a maintainer. We're already short on maintainers and spread a bit thin, so your best bet is to go to your device's own forums here on XDA. Any device support requests posted in the general Omni forums will be reported to the moderators for moving to device-specific forums.
Thanks!
I have seen that there isn't a specific thread for the value edition s4 i9515. Devs are already working at a cm11 port
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/general/rom-cyanogenmod-11-i9515-t2974148
Is it possible to open a specific development thread for this recent version and give it more visibility?
