Intex iRist Smartwatch

Hi All,
I have recently bought this new Intex iRist Smatwatch phone and to my disappointment it is not connecting to Smartphones (not even android) to show notifications, send and receive sms and calls. There is a useless app named (iconnect) which will only show Misscall alerts and sms if not read on phone and is connected via wifi, 2g or 3G. Like all android wear or smartwatches i was expecting to make and receive calls coming on my phone via this watch
This is really disappointing please help.
I have noticed that when connecting devices via bluetooth there is only "Internet Sharing" option available in bluetooth device list.
I have tried locating all threads but have found none on intex iRist smartwatch phone, hence I am starting this new Thread.

Hey, I too have an intex irist, facing same problems, I really wanted to know, is it possible to root the irist and install "android wear" os?

It's an Omate Truesmart knockoff, by design was never really intended to be used as a companion device. As such, I'm surprised the companion app even works.
As far as Wear, never gonna happen.

That's about LIKE A buys a Ferrari to present to connect the two horses to plow....

Is there any rooting method for this device?

Even pebble has a lot of problems regarding hacking it and adding ur own app to watch.However Intex watch has hardware compatibility problems and their android app is not at all good.All you can do is apply jugaad and hack the watch to identify it as pebble watch and then use pebble apps for it.:good:

Hi ppl. I just updated Kingo Root (automated message for an update) and try to root the watch. and it Goes to 100%.
I try with root checker and all seems to be working. watch is rooted.
Btw i use PC version. Ignore if its work from apk
Only thing is just after rooted i've to reset it some many times cause it feels like a little bit freeze. but after 2 resets everithing is working fine.

We have to download iconnect app from play store to answer calls from the watch

try this....
first install "watch droid assistant" in your irist and "watch droid phone" in your smartphone.
simple you will receive all the notifications includes facebook, instagram, twitter, whatsapp, calls, msgs, etc...

I recently bought the following Smartwatch: K88H. The smartwatch works pretty well with IOS and I don't think it can be seen that the restrictions of IOS.
It is possible to update the firmware inside ?

+1 - I have been reading what I can find on the internet about hacking/updating K88H but unfortunately there isn't a satisfactory amount of resources regarding this smart watch.
It's a great gadget though - if in doubt, just buy it, a great value for the price!
Back to the topic of this thread - There is value in looking for resources that talk about hacking/updating nuclear os as it's operating system that the watch is using.

1. Which app do you suggest to be downloaded in iPhone, which is stable and can be used to access all function in watch.
2. I am unable to read my text messages from watch (which i can if i connect from Android phone)
3. In android I had "Mediatek SmartDevice" and "Fundo Wear" app which had the folder called "Applications" in the app. I was able to download few other watch faces or yahoo weather from it. However i am unable to find it in the iOS apk of "iOS Mediatek SmartDevice" and iOS Fundowear" am i doing something wrong?

How can I install watch faces using my iphone? What app on iphone that can install watch faces and apps on k88h? Mediatek Smartdevice by Liang Lv from App Store can't install watch faces unlike Mediatek Smartdevice by Mediatek Inc from google play.

I also have the K88H. I did not like some of the screens on the Notifications. It has a huge "BLOCK" button that if you touch it the screen pops up asking if you want to block these kinds of messages. I blocked all the apps I wanted in the Mediatek SmartDevice app on my Android Phone. So why would I want that second button in the way?
Long story short I used Golem_'s tutorial and found a better firmware. Follow his instructions to the letter. Make sure you back up your existing firmware before continuing. Our watch is the MTK2502A 128MB. My favorite firmware so far is the X-Watch firmware. Golem_ also has a collection of firmware for you to begin with. Engjoy...

To connect Lem5 to your smartphone you need to download app - LEMFO Watch available here [www] app2open [dot] com [/] downloadlemfo. You may easily find link to this application by selecting "Lemfo Watch" app on your smartwatch and on the bottom is QR code with this link (tip: click it to enlarge).
Next, you need to enable Bluetooth both on your smartwatch and phone. Next, try to pair both devices. You'll propably see verification code, select "Pair" option.
You cannot pair your watch from bluetooth menu, so please open Lemfo Watch app, click "Select device" and click your watch on the list (propably mentioned as "LEMFO"). Now youre connected to your smartwatch

No, its not possible because of the antennas that are hidden in the strap. You may find DIY projects with replacing such bands, but it will result with lost of GPS and GSM options probably.

BDO F-1 smartwatch

I bought a f-1 smartwatch with mtk processor. I installed mediatek smartdevice on my phone in order to connect the watch via bluetooth. My question is why i cant intall anything on my smartwatch. I want to add some new faces. From app pics from google play i can see that faces can be installed but i cant see them in the app.
I can only see 3 apps (yahoo weather, digital clock and codoon). I cant install any of them...it gives me the error: "cant install. Unknown error"
Can i install any apps on my smartwatch or faces? How?

Add vpx apps to android apps.

I have a DM09 smartwatch and i want to install applications for my Smartwatch, but I can't because DM09 smartwatch doesn't support SD card so i am left with applications writing it into the smartwatch memory (500k) and I can't find a way to connect the smartwatch to my laptop, so is there any way to edit android application code to add your own apps ? Or is there an app that you can use as an appstore ?
