Flash S7E with TN7 firmware SUCCESSFUL! - Nvidia Tegra Note 7

I was able to flash the TN7 firmware on the slate 7 extreme without reboots or any instability. It feels more smooth and fluid. Here is a screenshot.

Just curious did you just renamed the TN7 ROM file to UPDATE.ZIP, and just drop on a SD-Card per HP's instructions, and just update the device via their recovery?

Nope. Just flashed the tn7 rom 4.4.2 using twrp.

how? c:

You mean you restored, not flashed. Anyway, was it necessary to unlock bootloader?

[ROM][STOCK][FLASHABLE]XNPH25R CM11S zip

I have recently come across this zip file for our stock firmware, I have decided to share it all with you in the odd case that you want to flash stock via custom recovery.
Steps:
1. Boot into recovery
2. Wipe Data, Cache and System
3. Unmount System
4. Flash zip

Just flash supersu after flashing the stock zip. Not really necessary for a stock root rom.

Question though, why isnt the stock CM11 from Cyanogen isnt flashable as compared to this?

From Custom Rom to Flyme Official?

Hey guys,
so just in case I would sell my phone in future .. I would know how to get back to full official Flyme Rom with locked bootloader and meizu stock recovery. In the cm12.1 thread is one tutorial in the headpost but I've read the comments in the thread and now I do not know what is right and what is wrong to get back official Flyme Rom. Please, can someone tell me how I get this done, PLEASE
You have to flash patched recovery flyme, and then flash original flyme rom by normal way( recovery mode or choosing the rom with a file explorer)
Enviado desde mi MX4 mediante Tapatalk
And that is the safest way?
As i know, is the only way, if we are talking about andriod mx4. I did it and no problems.
The safest way to flash patched rechovery is via fastboot.
Enviado desde mi MX4 mediante Tapatalk
move offical rom to root direc. and flash patced recovery. turn off phone. press volume up + power button. select update and clean data.
OK thanks guys

Wait you can brick your phone. Some people have tested it:
- Back to Flyme 4.2.8.2 patched
- Reflash Flyme 4.2.8.2 official
- Full Re-Lock
IF YOU FLASH ANOTHER FLYME (NOT 4.2.8.2) OFFICIAL IS FULL BRICK.

SM-T815 Android 6 Root

So for the guy who want ask for root for the SM-T 815 with the last update to Android 6
http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133?nocache=1
This method works fine on my Tab with Android 6.
TO-DO
Install last TWRP for SM-T 815
Save the file to your tab
install over TWRP the .zip
have fun!
greez,
Yup, works.
And xposed works too (wanams sdk23 zip, arm version, not arm64)
How and when you got android 6 on SM-T815 ?
Works great
Thanks for the advice.
Works great with my SM-T815 (Android 6.0.1 + TWRP + ROOT + XPOSED)
So install rom, install twrp, install supersu zip and its done? No need for extra modified kernel like lollipop?

Clean flash is highly recommended. Had big standby drain after I dirty flashed it (all your data, apps etc stay, you only lose root, when updating). Factory reset after that and it's fine now (great actually, I'm losing 1% in 10 hours now thanks to doze I guess - before I was losing around 5% in 10 hours)
Does anybody use foldermount under MM?
It says the mount was successfull, but i cant see the files when i open the original folder; but the destination foder there are the files.
I Use foldermount 2.9.2b

Any 7+ custom has nothing from stock Nougat. You are safe.
After restore - you need also stock recovery if you want update to nougat.
For stock remember:
OTA update is only for full stock firmware.
Downgrade(7-6) is possible without bootloader and gpt.
After downgrade any ota update can end with hard brick.
