To keep me friendly though please do not get into flaming matches. If someone is disrespectful please mash the report button rather than engage them further. In other words don't feed the trolls.
Also please post questions in Q&A. Those are the biggies.
I have put out a few themes and ROMs for the Epic 4G so know what it is like from the developer side. So please respect the developers. Without them xda-developers would be xda-facebook or something.

Just give Chainfire or some other developer some time to root this device. As it's Samsung, rooting it shouldn't be too difficult (I guess )
And yes, you can buy SIII Mini almost everywhere.

I was wondering if the rooting will allow cell unlock.
I am asking this to know what to do: wait for root or go to a Samsung service for cell unlock.

root will not unlock the device, but I wish some great devs will developing for this S3 mini, wich is a very great phone imho

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm graffixnyc and I have recently been assigned to help moderate the forum. If you guys have any issues please do not hesitate to let me know. As always, please follow the rules and treat each other with respect.

as much as i would like to believe that the rules follow some logical flow and understanding and are in place due to experience and historical events that have taken place on the XDA forums
i have a small issue with the rule of not being able to post in the developer section until having made 10 posts
from my experience in doing some small dev work i would not want to be harassed directly for help with a solution that i provided
i would not want to be getting several PM's asking the same question from several different people all because they were not able to post their question on the thread where i provided the solution
since we are unable to post in a thread our questions or suggestions that leaves only one place to be able to post, the Q&A section
leading to the risk of multiple duplicate posts and resulting in more work for the moderators to clean up
what would be the correct way to get around this issue whilst still following the rules?

[QUESTION] Galaxy S4 GE T-Mobile ROMs..

Hey! This is my first post on XDA. Nice to be with you all.
I was wondering if it was possible to load the T-Mobile SGH-M919 ROMs on the unlocked Galaxy S4 Google Edition without a problem (like data not working)
Please refrain from yelling at me for wanting to do this.. lol.. but I'm switching to T-Mobile and to me it seems like it would be more work for devs to develop for an entire new Galaxy S4 variant. So would the SGH-M919 ROMs work on it flawlessly?

As far as I am aware, it would not be flawless. I'm fairly sure there will at least be issues with data.

Not sure that phone hasn't lanched yet. I say there is a 89 % chance.

Revolutionary S5 V3 - Why buy an S5? -Petition

Hello to all members,
I am starting this petition for the sake of all members who actively follow and enjoy the work of both Ricky and SkywakerZ with their Revolutionary S5 V3 rom. I honestly believe that the continual asking of ETA is a rude and disrespectful manner, no matter what the feeble excuse is given, as the work and time that these guys put in to produce the rom is in-valuable. A good suggestion would be maybe a moderator could delete any reference to ETA.
I believe that the work these guys do is superb and them ceasing it would be a loss to all who strongly follow and support their work, due to the stupid and thoughtless actions of some.
PLEASE guys dont stop what you have been doing for the sake of some simple thoughtless actions of others.

Don't start another thread.. A similar thread is present I don't know for what reason..
Plz do read the rules yourself on xda before teaching it to others...

LG v35

This night be in the wrong section, can a moderator please move this if so. Thanks in advance.
Curious as to why and how there isnt a section for development of the LG v35 (I have the v350awm)?
Its basically very similar to the base v30 just upgraded its actually really nice just wondering if anything is being worked on for this device or not

How do you put In a request for a forum section on xda as well?

I too am very interested in seeing a some attention brought to the V35. At least a basic root method.

People stop asking for thread for the V35.. The v30 and v40 users get their own and we never will. v40 had a section before its release even. The moderators here have had plenty of requests for the forum and they say there isnt enough interest.. Yet other devices have less discussion than the v35.. The moderators will never create a dedicated section. There will never be any mods or unlocking or rooting of this phone in this forum. Might as well chuck your phone in the trash.
