I tried to download the .apk but said it was not compatable for your system. I have a rooted transformer.
Would reall appreciate .apk pity to miss out on a free app because I am rooted.

I jumped on this even though I doubt I'd ever use it. I just don't care for how the Amazon market app tries to force you to use their version even if you downloaded a more up to date version from the Android Market. Once Trillian went free on Android Market I got it from there since it was a newer version. Now Amazon constantly wants me to "update" trillian.

well the galaxy tab poped up when i searched for the note 10.1.. but it was after a bunch of accessories that weren't even out yet for the note 10.1.
Also i am glad that someone found it, i put it on my amazon card and no interest for a year

32gb DUH LOL 50 bucks more double the space, I have 32gb on my nexus and its only half full... Doubt i will fill the internal storage but if i do, i will just get a 32gb or 64 sd card

Haha yeah my thoughts exactly on 3g/4G tablets. But in all seriousness the n7 is a great device. Brilliant display, awesome specs, jelly bean with full Google support, perfect size and weight, great price, and lots of dev support here I'd also recommend getting the 16gb, the extra memory is always a nice touch. Granted the n7 doesn't have a micro sd slot BUT it does have a few "walk around" options for expandable storage via usb otg I know I must seem like a salesman but truth be told I absolutely love my n7 and that's why I think u should join the rest of us, submit to the peer pressure lol

Jellybean, and the pure Google experience is what sealed the deal for me on the Nexus 7. Jellybean is super smooth and as someone who owns an iOS device, I thought Android would seem jittery or laggy in comparison. Not so. Google did a good job on Project Butter.
And rooting the thing is sooo easy.
Was I convincing enough?

8GB, I never used much storage on my TF300T, plus I am a student, so the price difference was enough to stick with 8.

I got the 16gb, but I had a 64gb version ipad and I still wonder why I had to have so much storage. I've filled the 16gb n7 already but I could always scale back if necessary.

I've got 80 gigs on my phone. And I've ordered a 32gb flash drive for my n7. Still got 13gb of free space left. I like have extra memory cuz I like watching my anime on the go

Ram doesn't matter that much in iPhones compared to android phones. Also try them both out in a shop and we which you prefer if you ask on here you will get a biased opinion same as if you ask on a mac/iPhone forum.

You are asking a question in a very biased community, just about everyone here is an android user. this is a development community and iPhone development is a joke. That being said, go with the nexus 4, it is a better deal, and has better specs.

RAM actually does matter. Me and my friend both have iPod Touch 4th generation which has 256 MB of RAM and it has earned the name "crash machine" with honour.

I used a 3GS for a bit until it was unlocked and I was fine with 256MB on iOS 6

Looks like its you who needs to use iOS for some more time :silly: Ever tried opening a few tabs in safari, leaving the app for a while and coming back to it again? Its so frustrating to see all the tabs reload all over again!! And thats just one example. Use a wallpaper like typo clock (I think its called something like that). It updates after a few seconds of waking the device. Kinda pointless of having it as a wallpaper in that case IMO.
Just because iOS is better coded, doesn't mean 'RAM does not matter'. Every OS needs RAM to perform optimally. As they say, 'you can never have enough RAM'

I use it plenty thanks. I never usually have more than 2 tabs open at once. I never said it doesn't matter but using the fact the iPhone has less ram than the nexus so its worse isn't really a great point.

I don't know why people keep saying this. Many of us here have had/ still have both iOS and Android devices. Heck, many (including me) have even had WP7/7.5 devices for some time. Just because we are on Android forums, doesn't mean we aren't on MacRumors or WPCentral. Yeah, some do talk through their asses about OSes they have never used, but some also give informed opinions. Well, actually you DID
So you use it PLENTY and have never opened more than 2 tabs at once
RAM was one among the few examples I pointed out to show that the iPhone 4s is inferior to the N4. Now had the OP asked about the iP5, i would have told him it is a graphical powerhouse. And that the choice between the two would be tough. But you can't say a phone that has 512MB ram compared to the one that has 2gigs isn't a disadvantage. Even apart from the RAM, the 4s in hardware wise inferior to the N4 (which is to be expected coz its a year old phone after all).
As for the software, well, thats personal opinion territory right there
