As i have been using only mobile data for days since my upgrade i find the message in the screenshot weird since i connected to WIFI. I tried searching to no avail.
What happens is when this message is displayed my WIFI disconnects.
Can anyone help me how to disable the message?
Btw, i'm using i9505 stock non-rooted 4.3
Cheers!

im sure its something to do with knox ask in that section
I have the exact same problem since upgrading to 4.3. Everytime it connects to wifi that silver shield icon with security information warning pops up, really annoying. I don't know how to fix this.

What do you mean? Do I have it install Knox first? Mine is just a Knox shortcut, I didn't install it.

Same problem here.
I searched for this security warning and it seems to happen when toggling wifi on/off or the phone tries to connect to a open network when in standby.
Some reports say a factory reset can fix this issue, but I did that after I flashed 4.3 BTU and I still get the warning. Another possibility is to clear data and force close Knox notifications, but this won't last.
Maybe the only way to get rid of this for good is to root and remove all Knox crap.
Although, this leaves a question. Why is my phone trying to connect on itself to open networks ? I have turned off location service.
This is very shady business practice from both Samsung and Google. After all , I own this damn phone, I didn't payed 600 Euro for a spy tool on behalf of Google.
Guys, heard anything or any new update from Samsung about this issue? The warning message is really really annoying.

Wi-fi security error message
I am also getting the same security warning when toggling Wi-Fi on/off or when roaming. I am not using Knox, at least I haven't installed the main app as yet. Phone stock S4 gt-19505. I haven't done a factory reset since upgrading to 4.3 as some have reported that the problem still persisted.
Does anyone have a fix?

My problem is even worse. After receiving ths notifications, my wifi just died. It does not turn on anymore.
After i decided to upgrade to the "official" 4.4.2 it seems like my gyroscope is broken or something, have tried multiple odin restores / Factory resetting with no luck... Anyone else having theese problems? Anyone know a fix ?

Today I got so annoyed at no rotation, I reflashed 4.4.2 via Odin, rebooted to check it was working, It was.
Then I rooted the phone, tested rotation again, still OK, so then I braved CWM and it's fine.. Still working fine now last I checked... thankfully it was a bit annoying playing with youtube earlier.. @jetbruceli has the same issue also

Well i basically tried reflashing over 15 times and it still wont work.
I tried 2 different ODINS (3.08 and 1.85)
Tried both leaks (the 4 filed one and 1 filed XEO)
Im out of ideas so if anyone PLEASE knows a fix i would be very thankful
EDIT: F everything. Apparently all my sensors are broken.
Anyone who's got this problem, do you have other lockscreen than the default? I had this problem also with sensors / rotation not working after some time, and my fix was to change the lockscreen from pattern to swipe. Please report back if this fixes your problem.

Yeeeeeeeees :good: No one is able to upload these files here........ What the hell, every body tell us to reflash because they are to lazy finding out what the problem is ...
SHealth and Sensorservice are the problem, if one is removed, rotation is away.
I've made a thread and pleased for the Apks and Odexs files but even after 100 views no one can do this -
WHAT THE HELL?

First of all help is always starting from the beginning. If you reflash the problem goes away and all is well. No one knows really why yet it stops rotation.
I removed Knox and it stop the rotation too. Reinstalling didn't help.
So please before saying no is helping just do what we suggest and then figure the rest on your own.
I had the problem with rotatation before anyone I believe and my solution was to reflash from scratch and then only remove add on apps like ever note.
Leave all Sammy apps installed and so far my note is running perfect
Hit thanks if I helped

I got same problems after I deleted some system apps. Turned out there is a library in Samsung Hub that is needed for rotation. Please see more here:

Its a new kit kat permission thing..if you are rooted you can fix it..otherwise will just have to wait till the individual app developers to update their app permission.

My Note is rooted. Can you give a tip, how to solve this problem?
External SD card mount point fix for kitkat roms
Received the official KitKat update this weekend and found the same issue. Apps like SMS Backup & Restore, ES File explorer but also Sygic has problems with it.
As the solution posted here, is already a couple of months ago, I'm afraid that a fix is not as easy as I hoped. Some say it can be fixed by the 3rd party app developers, some say it must be fixed in Android itself.
Anyone ideas about this?

I have the same issue... i am pretty pissed off...
i will probably root the damn phone.
Last post says it's not for Note 3 and it's not for official ROM and you have to redo it every boot?
Frankly, how can google even do this, sabotage things just like that? Maybe Samsung should come up with that Tizen OS and start making Win phones, couple more updates like this and Android will become another ios, thank you very much.

Could you please clarify what this permission is? I've tried to contact one of the developpers but he said that he can't find anything about it. Moreover his Nexus 7 works fine.

That's actually my bad. I supposed to say something like that.
Still... What the exact permission is to allow the app to access in read and write mode only cause apparenly it's not about WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE whatsoever.
Same Error
The whole method is related to changing the permissions.xml file with a modified one, either via custom recovery or by simply editing it,, and in some cases this whole method don't work, also requires rooted device, so i think the solution either from a 3rd party applications developer or samsung fixes it bu rolling out a fix update.
I'm having this issue with my Go Backup Pro, Office Suite Pro 7, Polaris Office Viewer

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910F). I often clear running apps to clear RAM, I don't have an SD card installed currently (thought it doesn't seem to make any difference either way) my phone will have a short second or so delay regularly. It happens in all apps I use so I can't narrow it down to one app. This is my first Android device so I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

hi,
If you are rooted, have you installed Xposed Framework, and other modules, perhaps?
It is known that Xposed, when installed, it could cause, quite a bit of lag at times, (until you apply relevant fix?) Good luck
Hello, I do have Xposed framework installed. With three modules (see screenshot). I don't Adfree is the only app I have downloaded outside of Google play. I'll perhaps try removing each module to see if that helps.

It's the Xposed framework itself that's causing lag. You need to download a module called XSecureStorage, enable it, clear data for S Health (even if you're not using it) and reboot.

i have note 4 the international variant 910F , after a 30 minutes of playing Heroes Charge , or clash of clans , my phone´s go crazy , moving in lag , camera opened after 12 seconds ( cant see the image of camere only in slow motion ) , but after i lock screen and wait 10 second , the phones back to normaly ... i dont know why ...
is no rooted , no cwm ...

I have followed these steps and it appears to have done the trick! Thank you mucky
Hello,
I just wanted to share my findings regarding all note 4 users out there complaining of their devices lagging after they rooted, flashed any of the roms out there. it took me 6 months, continously blaming developers for their unusable roms to figure this out but now I am happily installing every rom out there with absolutely no freezing issues whatsoever.
install a build.prop editor from the play store and edit the following line.
" ro.securestorage.support " and change it to " flase "
you'll need to re-enter all wifi passwords after that but that's all.
Hope I helped somebody out there.
Can you may explain the reason why it is better?
...and you loose the private mode, right?

you don't have lags anymore and your phone gets real snappy, at once I decided that the note 4 is a piece of trash and wanted to change it for the note 5 also I never liked the built in battery and no expandability.
I still have the private mode for sure and it's working as it should.
for the info, my device is a N910F and it's a German varint( used in germany as well ) so maybe yours is another variant if you're not suffering lags after rooting. anyways best of luck,
