Hi guys,
Wanted to know if there is any application to take complete control of my nexus 4 from pc [windows/ubuntu]. Have tried airdroid but it doesn't let me take complete control like launching apps via pc is not possible.
Also, tried remotedroid on windows but the mobile screen is not getting displayed on pc... but controlling is working...
Let me know if anyone has any suggestions or views.
Thanks

I've tried a few of the remote/ Makes your tablet a second screen apps, but I don't think I had found one that gave me audio out of the tablet. Is there such a thing?

You might have to explain that one a bit better. Are you trying to remotely access the volume control on your tablet from your phone (or similar)?
If so, Droidmote works fine for that, although the server app (needed for the device u wanna control remotely) is now paying app (used to be free ).
If that's not what u were after, maybe a more detailed explanation of what ur trying to do could help...
I want to remote into my computer and use it on my tablet vut i need audio too.

Hi all,
I was just curious, is there a way to access my Nexus 7 from my work PC?
I want to be able to download MOD's/Kernels etc and get the all ready for flashing when I get home.
I know about AirDroid, Splashtop etc, but you can just remote in.
For example, AirDroid needs the generated code (FROM DEVICE)....
Splashtop only goes from Nexus to PC.
Thanks,

My mum just got a Nexus 10. She's not very technically minded and may need tech support from time to time. I don't live nearby so I'm looking for an app that will allow me to remotely see and control her screen (preferably without needing root). So far I've tried Teamviewer QuickConnect which allows screen sharing on some devices but it seems that the Nexus 10 isn't one of them.
Any suggestions?
Hello, I have just come from a Note 4 and the one thing I miss is the teamviewer control via a PC (quicksupport addin for Samsung). All you get with the Nexus 6p is mirroring and not control currently.
Does anyone use a reliable remote control ie desktop controls the android phone?
Thanks
Anis

Download AirDroid on both computer (mac or pc) and your phone.
It is a very slick interface which you can access (read/send/recieve) sms messages, call log, dial from computer, and then there is a button that looks like a siloute of binoculars which will VNC into your phone. Have you phone unlocked and on the home screen the first time you try as SuperSU will ask to give it root permissions, if your phone is on the lock screen it might auto deny these permissions.
You can even send files to the device through the interface although I never use that feature.
Hi,
I've got an old Xperia X Compact which I keep in my kitchen for things like timers, maybe some music but I also have some apps on there that just don't seem to work on my last two newer phones, so I still use it for rarely for those.
My question is, is there a way I can view my Xperia XC phone screen on my PC and control it? I know I can view it via something like MyPhoneExplorer, but to control it on the PC via this app, it needs to be plugged in via USB. I just didn't know if there was anything that would allow me to view an access the screen remotely over WIFI?
Thanks
Yes, either with scrcpy or anydesk. Both should work quite well, while the later might be easier to set up..
