Can someone help me decide what ROM to flash on my note 3 or who can tell me whats the best ROM for note 3?
OH! BTW do i have to root my phone first before flashing a custom ROM? I honestly don't know how to ROOT and FLASH(sorry don't have much time to back read coz of my F#cking work) I'd really appreciate if you can help me or give me an easy STEPS for me to follow.
i am looking for a ROM that is stable and fast, i mean i like to play on my note 3 so i'd really like to flash a ROM which is fast and can extend my battery life by tweaking or whatever.
THANKS in advance!!

- Asking for the "best" rom is prohibited on XDA, because no one can answer that question
- Regarding rooting before flashing a custom ROM, it is not mandatory. Some custom is pre-rooted already. Or you can root later.
- If you want to root using CF-Auto-Root, I will show you steps, it's very simple and easy, but it will trip the Knox. If you don't want the Knox to be tripped, search for Towelroot instead.
- As for extending battery life, you can try Lean Kernel (I have not tried it).

SORRY I wasn't aware about it and also SORRY for not reading the about RULES

I have already rooted my NOTE 3 buy using 'Odin' uhm do you think I did the right decision for that?

Question again do I FLASH Kernel after I FLASH the custom ROM?

Typically the answer is yes, but I'm not too sure. Please follow the instruction for a specific kernel/rom.

Can you suggest what ROM to flash?
I've search for the Lean Kernel and I didn't find any mind giving me a Link where to Download that Kernel.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Sorry I personally use stock firmware so I have no idea on custom rom.
here is the main thread of Lean kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2488082

Lean kernel is here.
It's almost "impossible" to recommend a ROM. Everyone's needs/wishes are different. The best - and only sensible, to be honest - advice I or anyone else can give you is to read read and read again all youcan about a ROM, flash it, see if you like it, and repeat as necessary.

The dl links don't show for me from my work pc, but if you're in Europe and you have the 9500 version, I'm 99% sure it's 3.11-hlte-Eur or something similar.
Some custom ROMs may come budled with Lean kernel - not sure, I don't use it any more.
I know you're not asking for advice, but I mean well - as you say, you're new to flashing/ROMs etc. If I were you, I'd get to know whichever ROM you decide on first and its capabilities, especially root. Tweaking kernels would be the last thing I'd want to deal with. Trust me, you'll have more than enough tweaking to keep you happy for days irregardless of what ROM you use

So I just picked up a tab today and of course the first thing to do is root, so just a couple of questions, I have a SGS and am on a CM7 ROM, so Im not a complete noob, although this next question may be a noob one... I was looking at the VFP OC kernel and was wondering if it was rooted, meaning can I just flash that kernel and be rooted?
The useragent mod looks to be a no brainer as far as having it, what other apps or mods would you guys consider standard ones to have?
I wont be doing anything till I fully read over what to do as far as rooting or anything else goes but it seems pretty straight forward since we are using the same tools i.e. CWM and ODIN, so just looking for suggestions ATM
Thanks ahead of time

Welcome! Use the rooting video guide to get CWM on your GT10, once you've done that just use the CWM program to flash both ROMs and Kernels.
As for the mods, you don't need them as they are already baked into most of the ROMs. Try Starburst or Task650 for ROMs, And definitely use pershoot's Kernel (and get the SetCPU app to overclock, you can get it free somewhere in these forums).
Have fun!

I'm not trying to be rude, but, besides you, who knows what is best for you?
You've provided a link to a specific ROM, so I am assuming you are interested in this particular ROM. I would read over the developers post and see what features are contained in the ROM and decide if your stock ROM is better suited for you or not. If you have questions about that ROM, you could post them in the same thread you linked. If you are asking if that ROM is stable, then you should probably post that question in that thread instead of this one.
Hope this helps and, again, not trying to be rude, just wanting to understand your question.
I tried this ROM and I thought is was great. If you want to stay very close to stock but retain root it is a great way to go. You can edit the boot.prop file to disable the cell stand by and save battery and I was able to flash an OC kernel. This is the best way to get stock 3.2 because if you use the ACER update you will loose root. I ended up choosing Taboonay 2.1 over this ROM because vache has an online kitchen that allows you to choose which Acer stock apps you want to install and skip the ones you don't. Also, the stock apps get installed on the data partition, so they can be unistalled and don't take up room in the ROM. You can't go wrong with either ROM though, they are both awesome.
Hope this helps.
thenk you both the question was if these is correct rom for me because if i'm downloading from the post of the stock's there's many rom's there so i understand that here it doesn't matter

No prob. Best of luck. I do not have my A500 yet but I have a Viewsonic Gtab. Like with my Gtab, I am looking forward to trying out the custom ROMs for the A500. If you invest in a good backup strategy, trying out a new ROM isn't an earth shattering experience.
Glad I could help. Which ROM did you end up flashing?

[Q] Best ROM and Kernel?

Next week i'm getting a LG G2 and i would like some advice in which is the best ROM and Kernel i should use?
In other words i would like to know the best combination of ROM and Kernel for LG G2?
sorry for bad english
It's quite difficult to tell... Some people like AOSP roms better, some Stock...
LG's stock is amongst the best of stock roms imho so I suggest you first get to know it and then figure out whether you'd like to change or not.
As for kernels, same story here: if you prefer stability, stock is always better. Battery life is not dramatically improved by any of the kernels I've tried and it's really a matter of preference...
Sorry buddy but these questions either lead to "the depends" answer or to a non-sense argument, usually between stock-partisans and AOSP-partisans... Although for LG there seem to be a consensus around stock being very good anyway, unlike some other brands.
Now for the personal taste: CloudyFlex 2.2 with CloudyKernel is my current daily driver. Stable and smooth plus some great features from Flex rom.
If I helped you, please thank me

Root the device, install Philz Touch recovery and flash away. Doesn't matter which version you start with. If you come from JB and flash a KK rom, make sure you flash the KK baseband but that's all indicated in the OPs

sorry to ask so many questions,
the KK baseband is flashed after or before updating to KK?
and
is it possible to install cloudyflex 2.2 with TWRP (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449679), because TWRP is much easier to install?
If you are wondering 'WOW, this guy must be really lazy?', my answer is yes, i am lazy, because internet in South Africa is expensive and very limited and i will thank you as many times as i need until i know everything i need to know!
Everything you need to know must be posted in the dedicated Q&A thread, no need open endless topics
You have 5 posts and already opened 3 threads, this looks like a small abuse...

Dude, I realize I already gave you all the links in another similar thread you opened...
I find Philz to be easy and it seems compatible with more roms but I can't vouch for that.
BB can be flashed before or after I believe. Or you can flash along...

I read the post just now by Max, and he clearly stated...
At the heart of Infamous ROM is BioShock kernel, which XDA user Jamison904 also made. BioShock kernel is what makes this ROM pretty darn impressive with its performance boost with Quadrant scores near whopping 28k!

It means it is installed during ROM install. When messing with ROMs don't just read half of a tutorial and ignore the rest.

You cannot. You need a CyanogenMod ROM with Theme Engine to use those themes.
If the ROM developer has flashable themes, you can flash them, but not the CM themes at all - unless you run AOSP.
What is AOSP?

New to the S4 need some help...

My opinion about the custom roms are:-you will lose warranty, if the rom is not developed for your device you will
brick your phone.. But if you succed you will enjoy the custom roms.. Also check for bugs for that rom.. if you don't want ti have headache.. sorry for my english

You start by identifying your phone model and start reading and learning the basics. There are countless guides. There are a lot of Q&A threads.
Asking for the best rom is not allowed, because there is no best rom, try it out for yourself.
