Just look in the general forum all the info you need is there. Do a little leg work on your own instead of having someone else point out what is so obviously available.

There is no root method found yet for the 902.
And if you try 907/905 methods be prepared to rsd one of the xml here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/scorpion_mini_xt902/list.php

Your sys ver is older than anything around to save you. I cannot advise you to attempt rsd the newer smj- versions, they may break the needs of your carrier. So you have no recourse if you bork your phone while trying to root.
I do not think you can root & that is why we do not get many 902s here.
If you ever root you can unlock with sloosecannon's help on his thread, here:

Not sure what did not work for you and what error you got.
This is one of the easiest root method. It appears you might have done something wrong.
Do you have custom recovery installed on your phone?
Can you post you Settings > About screen here.

This phone is box stock out of the box , no custom ROM, nothing.....
I'm researching into a bug and just need some users to run trustable for me. Once it goes through and gives you your result grab a screenshot and post with your android version and build

Android 5.0. Had rooted nc2 odined nc4 and upgraded through vzw assistant. It says I have root but supersu won't work and root check fails.
Let me know if you need someone to test your exploit. I'm very familiar with bash and reasonably so with Java, if that helps any.
