Xmit Write fail with ODIN - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I've been having some issues with an international rom on my W8 and i decided to go back to stock with odin. As i was flashing i realized that everytime i would reboot, even after a factory reset, or data/system/cache wipe, all my file and folders were not erased. So i booted into TWRP and wiped internal SD and all the other stuff, then flashed back stock rom with odin and now i keep getting this error:

Basically i start flash process and about 30 seconds in i hear the phone disconnect and i get the fail. I know it's not a bad firmware download as i've lready flahsed it 5 times today, i know it's not cable, or USB port because until i wiped internal SD i did not have any issues. Now, i can still access download mode, but i cannot access recovery because it tells me "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again." When i connect it to kies, it simply says phone not supported and doesnt show up under emergency recovery.
Anybody know how to get me out of this mess??

weird, my note 4 cable was causing the issue. I took my old S2 cable and it worked. Thanks anyways

I'll try to help, not that good myself though. What happens when you try to go into recovery?
I'm having the same problem. Only this phone was dropped by my friend on its top left corner and hasn't booted since then.
I successfully flashed the stock NAE tar through Odin last night but it still won't boot. I also cannot boot into recovery. It simply vibrates but nothing shows up on the screen at all. I can only boot into download mode intermittently.
Can't figure out why it would flash but not boot.

[Q] Bootloop on SM-G900V

TL;DR: My phone is in a bootloop. Attempts to flash back to stock or perform a factory reset haven't worked.
Originally posted on Reddit at r/AndroidQuestions and r/TechSupport. Please forgive me if this is an oft-discussed topic, but I've yet to find anything that's helped me.
A little background: I rooted my Samsung Galaxy s5 (Verizon) in August, 2014. No third-party ROM was installed; just root with Nova Pro, Gravitybox, and Xposed. I had no issues until about 2 months ago when my phone stopped rotating. It'd start rotating again after removing the battery, but eventually that stopped working, too, even in safe mode. I assumed I installed something weird, so I did a factory reset. That didn't fix the problem, though, so I intended to flash the stock ROM for a total reset. Earlier this week, my phone wouldn't connect to wifi. I powered off, removed the battery, and powered back on. And lo, le loop.
Solutions I've attempted:
1) Removing my microSD card. Didn't work.
2) Cache wipe. When I hold the power, home, and volume up buttons, I arrive at this screen. I'm not sure if I can get to the menu shown in the video. Factory reset and safe mode don't work, either. I'm guessing this is because I didn't set up a custom recovery? I'm honestly not familiar with CWM and TWRP.
3) Flash to stock ROM. I did exactly as this guide instructed. I put the ROM on the SD card, then flashed the firmware and kernel. Odin said it was successful and outputted this message (apologies for the wall of text):

4) Flash to factory ROM. I downloaded the files for my phone mentioned in this tutorial, but they were in this format, so I'm not sure how to run this in Odin (which is looking for .tar, .md5, etc.).
IN CONCLUSION...
Thoughts? Opinions? Questions?
Did I make any mistakes when attempting the solutions above?
If you are collectively baffled, what are my options? My warranty is voided by my root, is it not? Is there an online service that repairs soft bricks for a nominal fee?

Flashing original Samsung firmware failing on cache.img in Odin

I've tried flashing the original Samsung roms on both Windows 7 & 8.1, on Odin 3.07, 3.09, 3.10.7 all failed in the same manner.

Udpate your Samsung drivers or simply install Kies 3. Try again then.

I did install both Kies and Kies3, also made sure they weren't running. No avail. :/

Maybe is for that. Uninstall both. Only install now Kies 3 and try flash the firmware again.
* Are you sure that is the correct firmware for your device?
Your cache partition is most likely corrupted, just use the correct pit file for your n900 whilst flashing the rom.
Sent from my SM-N9005
Right, the issue was that I didn't flash the correct Pit file. But that's for another time.
NEW ISSUE!
In trying to solve the bad flash, during one of the flashes I checked NAND erase all. Now I just got the phone and have no EFS backups. is there any chance of fixing this? I don't have custom recoveries. Or do I have to send it in to Samsung?
The device boots fine, but I seemed to have wiped the phone's IMEI and baseband. The device can't register sims.

Help - need pit file for gti 9515

Ok so i was running unofficial cyanogen mod 13 alpha on my s4 9515, and after a while apps started randomly crashing and there were some other problems, so I decided to go back to stock touchwiz rom. I wiped cache and dalvik cache, put the .tar file into PDA in Odin, and Odin sad FAILED, missing pit partition, and after this I can't turn on my phone or go to recovery mode, it just says "there was a problem upgrading your firmware, connect your phone to Kies", which I also did but no luck. I can still go into download mode though...
So can anybody provide me with such .pit file? Or is there something else that I could do? Any help would be greatly appreciated

In 99% of the cases you won't need the pit file. You just need to use a different usb port / different usb cable.

Can you flash a custom recovery? If so try that, perform a full wipe and flash the custom rom again.

The closest thing to success was flashing the pit file in the link that you gave me with a kitkat stock rom, it gets almost to the end and then fails

You tried all the usb ports in your pc when flashing with .pit and this rom? The Odin log shows nothing strange so my guess would still be usb cable or usb port.

How do I fix my bricked Galaxy Note 4?

Model: SM-N910W8
So my device is bricked and I can enter Download Mode, but I can't enter Recovery Mode.
When I try to flash stock ROM, it fails and says there is no PIT partition.
So I get the PIT file for my device, and I try to flash stock ROM with the PIT and ODIN gets to system write, but then proceeds to fail there.
I've tried flashing 4.4.4 and 6.0.1.
I've also tried doing NAND erase and EFS clear.
I actually have a TWRP backup on my computer, so I tried flashing TWRP recovery onto my phone, however that also fails.
I am using the original Samsung USB cable.
Please help, I can't afford to toss this phone away...
