[Q] Weather widget lags status bar? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone notice the micro lag/stutter that happens when you turn on Accuweather widget animations and scroll down status bar?

For me, it has lagged a lot ever since 4.4.2

[Q] Play recommendations on lockscreen instead of clock

Hi There,
I have somehow changed my lockscreen clock to be the play recommendations widget, even though the clock is set in lockscreen settings.
Does anyone have any ideas how to get this back to being a clock?
Thanks.

Anyone able to help?
Pull down the widget itself which should launch the options for more lock screen widgets, then slide left to either add more or replace your current one with a clock.

[Q] Apex Launcher Pro On Galaxy S4

Hello. Am using the Galaxy S4 with Apex Launcher Pro on it. Love both of them pretty much. But there was this 1 thing that annoys me. Whenever I set swipe down feature to toggle my status bar / show my notifications, all the widgets on my screen will move downwards when the status bar is being toggled. It's kinda annoying seeing my widgets move out of positions. I am using 4.1.2 stock JB and the show notification bar option doesn't work. When I swipe down, it only toggles my status bar instead of bringing the whole notification bar down. Are there any apps that would enable or show my notification bar without moving the widgets? Thanks in advance.
? Don't you get the notifications bar when you swipe down from the top of the screen - I mean without down swipe enabled in Apex. Used Apex for ages and never known this not to function

Click to collapse
I hide the notification bar. Does it work only when the notification bar is not hide? I've tried this on another phone it works and the notification is also hidden. I just swipe down with gestures and the bar expands. It happens in Nova Launcher too...

[Q] Removing the Carrier Info on Lockscreen

I've got a rooted G2 and I'd like the Dashclock widget to take up the whole screen instead of being truncated so heavily at the top third of the screen. The whole bottom 2/3rds of the screen is devoted to an empty text bos that just says "Verizon Wireless". Is there some way, either rooted or unrooted, to get rid of that so that I can have way more functionality?
Thanks.
+1
+2!
Anyone have any luck with this? This is my last major annoyance with this sexy phone. Having full use of the lockscreen for dashclock.

You can change back to the AOSP Lockscreen and then download an Xposed Module to Maximize Widgets on the lockscreen - will this work for you?

[Q] A Weather Widget With Animation? Looked everywhere!

I'm looking for a weather widget with animation on the actual widget. You know, like the Samsung TW Weather Widget which unfortunately can't be used outside Touchwiz. I have tried almost every weather application and a lot of them include a live wallpaper or full screen weather animation when you press the static widget it provides (Beautiful Widgets is an example of this) but I haven't been able to find an application which provides a home screen widget with some simple animation on it. I'm starting to think it could be a limitation of Android and such a widget needs to be linked in some way to the launcher for the animation to work, hence why the Samsung weather widget requires Samsung framework. Is this the case?
Can anyone offer a suggestion? Cheers in advance.
No one?
