About barometer and my magazine - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello!
I have some questions:
1) With the release of Android L, there is a chance to see the default weater app use the barometer sensor for a more accurated forecast? Or only the barometrical measurement on the widget or in a weater app? We have that sensor....but is a no sense use it only for GPS...
2) The "My magazine" app: how can I modify the sources of the news? I know, I can modify them in the Flipboard app, but I can't modify them in the widget by samsung. Is planned an update that offer that possibility?
3) Why Samsung don't release a smaller widget of the forecast? The only widget for that is beauty, but too big.....
Excuse for my bad english and thanks in advance!!

[REQ] Idea for weather app add-on / feature

Hey there,
I was just thinking, don't know if it's at all possible, but would be quite interesting and useful if it could be done...
For phones that have the GPS option, could we add a way for the weather app to take the last gps lock on and use that to get weather information?
That way, no matter where you go, the weather will be correct...

I have tested it and can confirm it force closes
The only people who can fix this is yahoo - I suggest you contact them but I wouldnt hold your breath for any changes quickly
If its anything like the yahoo mail app its full of bugs that go on for months and months
For an alternative I would use accuweather - there are different versions - one from playstore or you can use the version iv got
here is the version iv got - install with system app installer (playstore) then add it as a widget and tap it to change location and settings

pls suggest me weather app(if any) which has4x2 widget (alternative to yahoo)

you can try BBC weather - although I dont know if it gives detailed reports outside of the uk
also beautiful widgets and hd widgets both have weather widgets and all kinds of other widgets but take up load more storage space so you need link2sd or something similar to use them

HTC weather app Vs Google Now weather

I love the HTC weather app as it looks so beautiful, but I must say a lot of the time the weather forecasts seem to be incorrect compared to Google now weather forecasts...Has anybody else noticed this, or just me lol?
For example it's raining right now and HTC weather app says it is a clear night whilst Google now app correctly reports that that it should be raining...there is nothing wrong with the location on the HTC spp app as it gets its location via GPS...
Would be cool if the app was updated do the user could change weather providers ?

Most weather apps contradict each other. Google now gets its data from The Weather Channel. HTC gets its data from Accuweather.
Just keep an eye on both and see which you trust. right now its party sunny where I am. Google reflects that and says 16 degrees, so too does HTC. Its a draw where I am!
That sounds like good strategy thanks for tee reply
But the HTC weather app doesn't use the integrated barometer sensor for a more accurate prediction in the area?

No it uses... just read the picture....
I use Beautiful Widgets Weather Widget because it's just..........well.......Beautiful. It can use either Accuweather or Weather Underground. I use Accuweather and it's always spot on.
I agree with @theandies i am also using BW and uses accu which is always spot on for me.

Issue with official Samsung Weather+Clock widget

Just wondering: What 'clever' designer at Samsung decided that clicking the clock on the official Samsung Weather+Clock widget would result in opening the Samsung Weather app?
Does that make any sense to anyone in here...?

AccuWeather widget face watch

Greetings,
I have a wearOS watch and I used Motorola mobile a while ago,
The watch widget in my motorola phone was one of the things that I loved, was curious is there any possible way to clone the widget in form of a watchface?
Wearable Widget Apps and Compagnon Watchface.
Yes, that would be a very good combination! ?

Kinda does the work, but the widget should be stand alone, not a mirror of the widget on phone.
Thanks anyway!
