cant make calls on custom rom

I cant make calls on custom rom , screen is black. I have tried many roms. I just got done flashing stock rom and i am able to make calls and answer voice mail. I even took my phone apart to see if it was dirty inside. Anyone have any ideas? could it be a messed up flashing from pc? could it me messed up files on my sd card>?

New SD card , fresh flash and new downloaded pacman ROM or cm ROM. Black screen! Any ideas or help? I can make calls on stock Sammy filmware .

Do you have the international Note 3 - model N9005?

heres what i did . i took apart my phone and cleaned the proximity sensor and it worked. There was dust on it which kept the phone on black screen when i was using phone. so if anyone has black screen on rom take apart the phone and clean the sensor takes about 5 mins at most.

I bought an note 3 on 2nd June from hand,i'm verified the phone with big attention,everethyng is ok with the phone.But this phone is a rooted phone with a custom rom,i want to install to phone an original samsung firmware,but when i installed the rom the phone is bricked,i don't have IMEI (write Unkown ),and many errors,camera isnt work,speaker isnt work,....I dont know what can i do with the phone.Please help me.

What precise model is your Note 3? Are you 100% it is not a fake? Does the phone have "download mode"? Can you still enter "download mode"? What does it say there? Have you tried to write the latest stock ROM for your precise model? (and by model I understand platform and type, for instance on N9005 there are slightly different stock images for the 32GB EU models and the 16GB Asia models).

Yes I'm 100% it is not a fake phone,and yes the pohne have download mode and yes i can enter to the d.m.
My model is SM-N9005 32GB. I'm tried over 10 roms for the phone but nothing,please help me,send me a new rom or i don't know what can i do ?

What i've heard if you lost your efs, many things on the phone will note work and eventually you will encounter FC messages. The only way was to restore the EFS. But you can find any other alternative like Flashing the 4 part firmware and see how it goes. If it doesnt fix your phone, keep finding.

I've tried the 4 part firmware flash but nothing... Now I'm downloading a firmware for Poland,this is the newest on samfirmware.com

I am using Samsung brand quite long time - 5years
I start with some Omnia windows phones and there I try using a android haha ... old good funny times ...
after 2 yers ago I had S3 16 GB what a lovely phone so many custom ROM and all time all perfect
just 3 month ago I sold S3 and as mine present I bought for me S4 LTE version
and now trouble start:
I update to 4.4.2 and after I have over day few time pop up error message SIM Card not Inserted - restart phone

after I register mine phone at Samsung and I send to repair centre ''anovo norfolk'' what a night mare
month was there and they tell me will be return unrepairable due to IMEI different
I find when return mine phone back imei at back (LCD) stiker is different as MOBO what a genuine eBay seller
than I start reading that many people have similar problem and try to resolve selfy

but what I find all sellers selling REV 0.3 looks like market is full old REV 0.3 (9505) from china factory which never been used in Samsung factory for phone due to higher rev no. used in phone when build ( I think Samsung smell trouble )

Note 3 N9005 reboot when use the spen stylus after lcd screem replacement

Hi, thanks for your hardwork
I having a issue with mi note 3 n9005 hlte , I hope somebody could help me
My note 3 was broke the lcd screem by drop, I was bought a lcd screen on ebay, I made the replacement, and it worked. But the note 3 it was rebooting every time ( with stock rom)
I supose it could be a incompatibility with the lcd screen ( i dont know if it is original or chinese )
so I was trying flashing to another version of android.
I tried many roms, and the reboot problem still happens
so I installed this rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/6-0-1-touchwiz-marshmallow-note-3-t3349306/page121 with this rom the note 3 Dont reboot anymore, but it does when I use the spen stylus, when I put out the pen, takes 10 to 20 sec and it reboots.
Can anyone help me ?? any Ideas Why it is happening? Any suggestion of rom it could work and dont have this trouble?

I already tried this before, with the lastest stock rom it reboots with or without spen
I only get work with no reboot with the rom I mentioned earlier, currently I am using the device, I am not using the spen, but, I am asking for help because I frecuently use the spen by my work, so I need it some times. thanks for reply

Samsung Note 3 N9005 CAMERA FAILED error and more

Dear Team, good afternoon,
I'm a 42 years old daddy, in love with Linux and doitbyyourself stuff!
My last message in a forum was probably more than 15 years ago, but this issue is driving me crazy.
Background: few time in the past I flashed, rooted some samsung devices, but honestly speaking I had no mood to learn anything more than that.
Few weeks ago I was tempted to install Lineage17.1 on my SM N9005 ( NOTE 3 Samsung)
and everything went smooth. The day after I realized the front camera was not working,
giving me a generic CAMERA FAILED error, crashing almost immediately or freezing my screen with a dark screen for few seconds.
Tried few classic solutions ( reboot, wipe,clear cache, full reboot removing battery) as suggested on this forum and on the web, but no luck. Not even other app like OPENCAM etc..
I decided to go back to stock and installed Lollipop. Surprise, no camera again
Probably odin problem or corrupted rom, so I tried I think not less than 5 more stock rom ( brand, no brand, etc) Never had the camera back.
I even tried to go back to original kitkat same error.
Being the camera the only broken/faulty hardware, I decided to by a new one.
No luck again...
Is there anything I am missing? Is it ever possible I'm the only one with this problem?
What would you do to investigate/solve this issue? Can you please help me
at least pointing me where to look for a solution?
For the moment I'm back to this firmware. Before wiping and trying something different
I thought I could ask to your advice
