I have successfully updated to version A3000-H Call - A3000_A422_003_014_130909_WW_CALL_FUSE my vodafone smart tab III, test calls correctly and although two slots sim recognize this tablet has only one.
I had trouble at first by the drivers and have not activated the development so that from what I've seen in the thread happens to the majority and hence the error using the FlashTool but as soo active mode restart wait a few seconds to give ready update and becomes tablet lenovo.
I hope this helps anyone with the same tablet.
Greetings and thanks for the contribution to azam426.
I have the same tablet Vodafone smart tab III 7" and i flashed it like u. There is no problems until now ...the tablet is running smoother and faster than the Vodafone version. The only missing thing is internal storage of 3 gb from Vodafone rom which was 16 gb and now it is 13 gb. Call feature working well too. I ll try to re-flash back the original rom to see if i get back this missing 3 gb storage.
Thanks to azam for this rom with calling feature.:good:
I've flashed this on my vodafone smart tab III 7, and everything is working, except for auto rotate
I have a problem with smart tab iii 7, can someone help? If i flash just /system, all works except auto rotate. If i flah with /boot as well, everything works, including auto rotate but if the display goes to sleep, nothing wakes it up, no power button no usb, but i can hear notifications in the background. I guess boot.img needs work?
Data not work
I have vodafone smart tab 3 and flash with A3000_A422_013_025_140624_WW_CALL_FUSE
When open data dont work. Any help?

@architectmat,
1) have you flashed the standard Vodafone version? Everything was ok?
2) can you gently share the Vodafone stock rom? I have also the smart tab 3 and before falshing the "standard" rom I'd like to have the original rom
3) how did you dump the orginal Vodafone rom?
Thanks... and sorry for questions

Ok so I recently purchased a note 3 SM-N900W8 was on stock 4.4.2 I rooted it and flashed a custom recovery TWRP, install DarkLord N5 Note 5 Port and everything was cool until I noticed, that the Video recording didnt work and that for nothgin in the world I could get my mobile data to work now I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63277436&postcount=12560 however it was it is for the N9005 variant I tried it anyway and Odin gave a big fat Fail on th BL flash havent even tried CP, the NFC I know is broke that doesnt really effect me I never use it, but for the life of me I cannot find a fix for this or dont know of perhaps I am missing a step with the N9005 BL/CP flash assuming that would even really work with the N900W8 so I am asking the dev gods out there answer my prayer here and tell me what I am doing wrong or what I am not doing. Thank you all in advance

Checking in a couple months later... I'm using the s7 Darklord rom now.. n900w8: Same deal - video completely doesn't work. Both cameras. nothing works. Pictures are fine - but some of the stock modes (that needed flashing - the fix hosted on samsungvn.vom page) don't work either. I can't find any radios for our phone anywhere. It seems we were officially updated to 5.0 but I'm guessing that didn't use the radios needed to make the video recording in a MM Rom work. I dunno. I'm guessing.
Frustrating.
Hi
Background: I am usually very thorough when buying a new phone. This time I Wasn't well for many days and in the hospital. Urgently needed a new phone and ordered 1 online from a used shop. I specially wanted i9500.. no other variant..
I got one, it said i9500 on the back cover (echted in the plastics and well as the paper... which said made in india.. also the paper/sticker wasn't samsung quality but maybe since it was used, and indian made, i thought ok..
Now I inserted my sim and turned it on... Some chinese s***t! then samsung logo then the TouchWiz.. But there were many chinese apps as well. AND IT DID NOT DETECT MY SIM. Settings say its an i9500.. it felt like a samsung but something was off... In camera, as soon as I took a pic, phone got shut off! Had to take out battery... (btw, it says android 4.42 and when I go to Update.. .Samsung says it cant as device has been modified)
reformatted phone... more chinese sh*t, then Android loads up and there is no play store!
So I downoad a Darky ROM for i9500 and try flashing.. viola!! success.. Android 5.0.1
It said Sim not registered... then that message dissappears and now it shows me FULL SIGNALS but when I try to dial anything, it says Not registered on network! - WHen I went to settings... in device it is now saying:SM-903F (is that a ROM thing or is that the real phone model I have..?)
Can someone please help me.. the phone is very important here in my hosp.. cant type/read a lot of my laptop, it is very energy comsuming
Regards
P.S My location is Pakistan
See if you can enter download mode (Volume down and Power). If you can get into download mode, read off the model number displayed on screen. If you can't, the S4 is counterfeit.
The phone could also be a combination of various parts from different hardware versions of the s4.
Also, check to see if the imei is okay.

Yes bro, I can see the IMEI..
I tried flashing another ROM (TouchWiz) - Still sim is not recognized (but signal bars goes to full.. even if I take out the SIM.. guess thats a ROM issue)
Anyways, still stuck.. Which modem should I try flashing... :|
I was going to suggest a stock 9500 rom from sammobile.com but there are only ROMs for the 9500, not 9500chn.
Googling the model 9500chn links to other people that have the same problem when trying to flash another rom.

The phone model become GT-I9500CHN because of Chinese bootloader that unfortunately very hard to get rid of this stuff.
______
Your phone might be trying to connect to China Mobile or China Unicom that uses TD-SCDMA instead of WCDMA for most regions.
Also, after you install DarkLord S6 port on your device, you'll get phone model on About device as SM-G903F (Galaxy S5 Neo) instead of the normal one for more compatibility (according to the developer).
I would try to check the IMEI online to see if this is original or not (ilegally tampered from other device).

Cheap chinese fake replicas. All ib one line.
Do nothing about it. Ordering online was the worst decision.
Now there are threads here on how to manage these clones. Read one of them

I hate chinese like u do... but this is not cheap
and it is actually a REAL Samsung Galaxy
problem is its GT-i9500CHN - aargghhhhhh - pain doubling... due to me being in hospital. cant go outside to kill someone
If you flashed custom ROMs and them boot, it's not a clone. I9500 performs an Exynos CPU, Chinese clones a Mediatek one, so just for this ROMs couldn't even boot.
All you can do is try to flash a stock firmware from SamMobile, an I9500 firmware coming from China, and see what happens.
By the way, I think this guy bought a Chinese (Genuine) I9500, then rooted it for install Google Apps, that would probably be the reason of the GApps disappearing after formatting (as far as I know, Chinese phones have a backup partition where an emergency copy of the stock firmware is located, I don't know if Samsung does this as well).
For the SIM problem, it's probably simlock, and it probably works only with a determined Chinese operator (or, again, it probably doesn't supports Pakistan's signal bands).
All you can do is check your IMEI on some dedicated site and see if it's simlock, then if it's not, check if the bands that your phone supports are compatible with Pakistan ones.
Sorry for my bad english.
Nexusâ´ on Tapatalk.
Again, China's bands are TD-SCDMA, not WCDMA as we use mostly over the world.

Once again, GT-I9500CHN is just from the bootloader. Installing any GT-I9500 firmware should work.

I've got Galaxy s4,korean model e330l. I've tried to install every rom I could found on the internet (about 10), from official samsung roms to unofficial roms. The phone is in bootloop, on some roms it turns on once on a while and then everything is fine untill next restart after few minutes. It's also getting hot in the area of the back camera. I've got two questions, maybe somebody could help me:
1) is it still possible that is a software issue? What else can I do through Odin? Install Pit files?
2) if I would like to change motherboard can somebody tell if the motherboard from e330s model will be ok with a display of e330l
Thank you very much for your help
Doubt it's a software issue.
The display should be fine. People have repaired GT-I9505 with GT-I9500 parts and vice versa.
Hi, first post here. Installed TWRP and upgraded my wifes phone to LineageOS 16. Most things are working well, but the menu key is constantly activating without a key press. I'm a networking guy by trade and phone fiddling not really my strong point. My Google Fu always seems to fail me in situations like this too.
Any ideas? There's also an issue with Bluetooth which constantly crashes if used. Do I need to raise a new thread for that?
The phone itself is a UK version, so that's also a bit confusing when there's builds offered for AT&T, Sprint, Verizon etc. Also I've not upgraded further past this nightly build. Should I try this? Am I right in that the process should be to wipe only system partition then apply the upgrade?
Cheers.
Oh if you need me to post any further details about phone or whatever just shout and I'll get on it.
Reads as you may have installed for the wrong phone model .
I don't think so. The options presented to me over at download.lineageos.org were;
Galaxy Note 3 LTE (N9005/P) hlte
Galaxy Note 3 LTE (N9008V) hltechn
Galaxy Note 3 LTE (N900K/L/S) hltekor
Galaxy Note 3 LTE (N900T/V/W8) hltetmo
The phone model number is SM-N9005 and so the specific image I installed, after a full backup and full wipe is;
lineage-16.0-20200905-nightly-hlte-signed.zip
Non xda rom suggest you go back to the source .
Is there another rom that anyone could recommend?
