I heard people were using it on their M. Where can I get it? I found it for the Photon Q, but that's it.

Awesome, thanks.
Eh I'm a tad confused. There a loads of different ones to download. Which would I get for AOKP?

More than the kernel. Many things from the Q including rom manager are the same & more...

you would get the latest build that is the one that says:
July 30 2013 md5: b87008195370276e9dffd07e7232c464
Sync with razrqcom, 67 commits behind
all the other ones are just earlier versions
After 8 days of waiting here in Singapore, it finally arrives! I've been using the G Flex for a few weeks now and I have to say the moto x unique features blows me off! Though the specs isn't that high end as the Flex (s800) it works pretty well with very little lags here and there. Got the developer edition for myself. Will do more testing with the device, good job Motorola!

Getting one soon. Definitely the DE.
If only the DE was available with different color back covers , or atleast a black cover option , I'd buy it in a heartbeat!
Is there a kernel or method to over clock the xt907?
I'm currently running cm12.1 latest nightly

To my knowledge there are no custom kernels for the KKBL, which is what generally sets the max and min speeds

I believe you're right, is there a reason why? Closed source?

Argghhh's kernel is open source, but hasn't been ported to KKBL. I briefly began rebuilding it but had to success.

I'm not a dev, so I'm of little help.
But it is a shame. I think it'd aid performance.

Moto X 2014 Pure Edition
Sent from my Blissful RAZR M 5.1 from Tapatalk
Talk about a hyped up long awaited update.
I got so tired of waiting that I dumped my x and upgraded phones. Threw the moto in the drawer and forgot about it. As soon as I saw 5.1 was coming I dusted it off. Returned it to stock and took 3 updates that finally landed me on the long awaited lollipop.
Man am I ever disappointed. I have already had three freezes and a reboot. The UI now looks like it was designed for a ten year old. Notifications won't clear. What used to be assist is now lumped into "moto" and doesn't always work. I hate to say it, but I'm going to toss this old moto x back in the drawer. I will however follow this thread from an HTC m8. I know, I know. Not much better but at least it doesn't look like a ten year old designed it.
