I heard people were using it on their M. Where can I get it? I found it for the Photon Q, but that's it.

Awesome, thanks.
Eh I'm a tad confused. There a loads of different ones to download. Which would I get for AOKP?

More than the kernel. Many things from the Q including rom manager are the same & more...

you would get the latest build that is the one that says:
July 30 2013 md5: b87008195370276e9dffd07e7232c464
Sync with razrqcom, 67 commits behind
all the other ones are just earlier versions

I'm pretty sure they're essentially the same phone, only they use different providers. To answer your other question, yes. In my opinion, of course.
Let's do what we can to help nitro
The M forum got him a M...he just released eclipse beta for it already...
If u have never ran a eclipse ROM ur missing out. ..his work is super clean rock solid..smooth and always hiccup free
I already posted in the dev section there asking if he could port it over to us
The M and HD have similar hardware if I'm correct
Let's do this

Looks sweet. I remember him from the GNex forums. I hope we get more roms and devs on this awesome device!

As the subject suggests. There are a few great devs doing some work on the XT907 (Droid Razr M) but we don't seem to have any action on the Aussie version. How difficult is it to mod the rom and get it into shape for our XT905's?
I know on the XT910 OG Razr they were doing this...does anyone know if it's going to happen with the M?
Cheers...
They probably already work with the XT905, as they are nearly the exact same phone.
I have had much experience in trying other ROM's that aren't for that specific phone and have had much luck with it.
Some of the stock based ROMs may not get signal on USC. AOSP ROMs like CyanogenMod and PAC should work just fine.

as I understand there are other phones with roms and kernels we can use on the XT907. can someone compile a list of said phones?

Kernels from the RAZR HD (MAXX), Atrix HD, and RAZR M 905 can be used with little risk of a softbrick. ROMS from those phones can be used with little to no modification, but are more likely to fail (and probably will think you're running a different phone...)
I would not use an untested kernel/ROM unless you're used to softbricks and have the ability to fix them

Yeah I've seen things like dead rage and even though I don't want it, I can't find it anywhere. How often do users of the M use software from other phones? If it's compatible would it be in these forums?
Sent from my XT907 using xda app-developers app
I've never tried it there's really no purpose too and it probably would fail if your looking for dead rage there's an XT907 version over on DROID rzr

There's a few more ROMs over at droidrzr.com - that's where they're coming from

Is there a kernel or method to over clock the xt907?
I'm currently running cm12.1 latest nightly

To my knowledge there are no custom kernels for the KKBL, which is what generally sets the max and min speeds

Argghhh's kernel is open source, but hasn't been ported to KKBL. I briefly began rebuilding it but had to success.

I'm not a dev, so I'm of little help.
But it is a shame. I think it'd aid performance.
