Hi all, i have a note 4 ( SM-910C) stock firmware and i have a problem whit the camera, when i record something i can hear on the playback popping sounds.....it's strange only happens on the first film i make after a long standby just a few times in the first 15 sec.....after that i can film and the problem disappears..... i have tried also Snap camera.....and also heard a pop... on the middle of the movie....... you can search "Galaxy Note 2, Stock Camera popping sound" to see the exact problem on youtube.
Need help please....
My video record work well
Try clear your camera data and record again
I've heard that pop too,and it is on the beginning of the audio. Strange.
Sent from my SM-N910U
Well i also have the pop at the beginning but also makes at the middle....and on some videos is popping constantly.....it's a hardware problem....so i have take'd mine back and get my money back.....it's not normal to make that noise....doesn't matter if it's on the beginning or in the middle.....
Dude, contact samsung and replace that ****...it's not normal.....or return it and get your money back.
Same problem
I am from India and also faced the same problem. Its manufacturing month is November and manufacturing country is Vietnam. I replaced the unit and now there is no problem. My processor is Snapdragon and not Exynos. So i think the problem is related to some other hardware problem.

Hello Everybody
I got myself a Sony Ericsson, but after one week my Camera dosent work anymore.
When i try to activate my camera it comes with a message "Camera is unavaible"
I had tried many things:
1. factory reset without deleting SD
2. factory reset+ deleting SD
3. Tried to update with the Sony Ericsson software from my phone
4. Tried to remove SD card, and Simcard then connected again
5. Tried software updater from Sony Ericsson Support
Still getting the same error.
Its not funny to have a phone without camera.
Hopefully there is some help in here
With Kind Regards
Immanuel
Sounds like a hardware failure. Best to bring it in for a check.
I hope it's not another hardware problem we will see in many other Arc
Deleted comment... didn't read OP properly.. does sound like a h/w problem
Hello friends.
I have to report that my Arc camera "emits" some really strange noise when opening and closing the camera app (possibly is the shutter cover or something). This "problem" started just 3 days after I got the phone in my hands. No noise for the first 3 days, and I used the camera a lot...
I really hope it is not a phone construction "bug"...
Emmanueldk, my friend, did you notice any strange behaviour such as the above mentioned? Should I start to worry?
maybe your SD card was broken,try to format it,or use another one

Dude all the phones have a small ''tic or tac'' sounds when you open and close the camera,eve my N1 make that noise, it's just the ''waking the lens process'' that does this sound
Yeah, I know that this sound is normal. It stops being normal when it so very loud that can wake up a baby!
All my previous phones (N8, Galaxy S, Desire HD) had this, but the noise was there from the very first moment, and not as loud...
In Xperia Arc it came after 3 days, and is very noisy (could say abnormally loud).
That's why I mention it, just to compare situations. You never know...
Oh my! I was ready to buy an Arc but you and Immanueldk are freaking me out
SE did some hardware faults with previous models, do you remember the infamous C905 earpiece problem?
The problem is that the Arc I am getting is without warranty because its black market
You do not have to freak out my friend. It seems that at least 30-40 Arc owners wonder in this forum, and only me and Immanueldk have issues (well,mine is not an issue YET).
Chances are that you'll get a good piece.
I was also very unlucky with the Desire HD camera. Had to return to HTC8-9 days after purchase. Maybe I am cursed or something...
Well I had my phone since last friday, after 5 days Camera stopped worked.
As stated Micro SD is perfect working no problems listen to music or watching vidz. Only Camera dosent work.
Just gave it to my reseller again, because now my screen flicker and the phone freezes time to time.
I hope that this is not the same problem in the next one I get.
This is a very nice phone when it works without a doubt
I think you must have got the dud of the bunch mate cus I can't report any problems as of yet.
Fingers crossed your next one will work.
there seems to be an awful lot of faulty s3's with dodgy camera modules, just type in "warning camera failed s3" in google
my first s3 died on me randomly (not battery issue) and would refuse to boot or be recognized via usb port,
what the heck is going on, this is supposed to be a flagship handset, seems like a lot of shoddy built quality
Yes I'm Facing a camera problem to, the camera worked one month then started to have error messages, and now just don't work no more at all.
Front camera is working.
unfortunately it was a present from family abroad and they lost the warranty bill so I guess I will have to buy a new camera module and replace it my self, hopefully that will repair it..
Its called warranty guys send it in. If u lost the warranty search for camera modules there is a thread and you can download the latest drivers might be worth a shot

slightly off topic, have you noticed the left and right audio channels are the wrong way round when you record a video and play to back on a pc, left is right and right is left, try tapping the left then the right mic as you record a video, should be a simple software fix if people get to know about it.
John.
Hi guys, you cant imagine how sad i am. My sister was traveling from middle east and she bought me a present when she came back to my country. She was happy and gave me a brand new galaxy S4 I9500 Octa core international version. She said she was about to buy me an LG G2 but since i liked AMOLED so much she bought me an S4 i9500, so sad, now i regret for being an amoled fan.
Upon first boot, i noticed something was not right with the phone...the boot logo, the one that says samsung was jumping all over the screen from top to bottom. First i thought it was something with the boot but then things went really bad when it started to do the massive flickering while i was on the menu or running an app.
this is a video i took and i was able to record the most lasting glitch, all this flickering happens at random. There is no way to tell if it will do it or not, but happens multiple times during the day. For example i can play, watch an HD movie, i can use the phone normally without any problem for hours, then turn off the screen, turn it back on in some minutes and starts to glitch, or not glitch. It can or cannot happen, randomly, but happens.
Sometimes for example i turn the screen on, and stays black, i have to turn off the screen again and turn it on to make the graphics appear.
Sometimes for example i turn off the phone, after some minutes i turn it back on and the logo starts to move all over the screen for some seconds and stops and stays stable.
So practically i am out of warranty, the phone if from another continent. It says MADE IN INDIA on the back sticker, and came with android 4.3 and then it updated to 4.4.2 and same thing happens
I have to look on how to fix this on my own at the best price possible where i live.
The most dificult part of this is that i don´t know if this issue is tied to:
1) A bad LCD / Amoled screen,
or
2) If it is tied to a bad chip in MAINBOARD on the phone.
replacing the mainboard is cheaper than replacing the LCD screen, but im not really sure what could be the issue. and i dont want to waste money buying a brand new mainboard, change it, and the phone keeps glitching because the mainboard was not the issue.

Did you try contacting Samsung in your country? Maybe they would fix it anyway.
My guess is that you have a faulty screen. What you could try is to see if all the connectors are properly attaced. Maybe it's a little bit loose.
Hello there to all.
I´m newly registered to the forum, although i´ve been using it to search, learn and use roms in my Samsung s3 for some time now.
I´ve bought recently a used S4 i9506. At the time i tested several key points of the device to check if it was all working, however (and don´t ask me why because i cant explain it), i completely forgot to test the cameras.
My problem is the following. Everytime i try to access the camera it says that camera failed or something like server connection failed. I´ve tried every single resolution i could find on the internet and so far all failed to solve it. The problem seems to be in both cameras, i think, because when i try the code *#0*# both Mega cam and front cam give error. Here´s what i tried so far:
- Soft Reset/Hard Reset/factory reset;
- Cleared cache both from boot and manually erasing cache from com.sec.android.gallery3d;
- Tried 3rd party camera apps from GooglePlay;
- Tried the RestartCamera.apk;
- Tried 3 different firmwares for i9506;
- Tried rooting it and then flashed several different roms;
- Switched the rear camera with a new i9506 rear camera module that i bought;
- I cant also test the cameras, because when i use the code *#34971539# they bring a menu on which i can´t use almost every option (see image);
http : / / rghost.net/6Zby4zXFD/image . png
Anyone have any other possible resolution?
I´m thinking on maybe buying a front camera module. Could that do the trick? Could the front facing camera not working properly make the rear camera fail as well?
Thank you for the attention to all who took the time to read.
So far 60 people read and nobody answered. ... is it because you don´t know what else i can do? I´ve been reading the problem may be from the motherboard. What can i do on the motherboard to make things right?
Thanks again
Be patient my friend someone will answer soon
Hi,
I've got the same problem with my s4mini. Both cameras aren't working and all the solutions you explained don't solve it.
I'm thinking about buying another S4mini with broken Display in order to change the motherboard. This might be the only possibility to solve this......
Greetings from Germany

Hey there m8.
I know the feeling, right?!
The thing is that for a faulty i9506 model i could almost buy myself another motherboard and mount it, but i was hoping to find some other solution, maybe even some electronics expert opinion on what i could do in the motherboard to make it work again. There are some videos on youtube that teaches how to change some components on the motherboard to solve problems like dead smartphone or constant auto reboots. Also, finding a faulty i9506 model isn´t as easy as finding a regular S4. :crying:
Thx for sharing the problem and for the opinions,
and greetings from Portugal
Today i've changed the mainboard aaaaaaand -> cameras still not working
So i started to change the front cramera and the ear-brightness-sensor from the old s4 mini with the broken screen into my working one. And now both cameras are working again!:good:
I think the cause is most likely the brightness sensor which is combined with the ear speaker. This could explain why both cameras are not working.
I'm not completely sure due to i changed the front camera also. However changing the main camera did not do anything as mentioned above.
Maybe i should mention: A few weeks ago i've changed the earspeaker-brightness-unit because the speaker wasn't working anymore. Right after this both cameras stopped working.

Thank you for the update on your situation m8. That could be some relevant information there. Can anyone confirm if the sensor is the same for all s4 models? If so i could find more easily one from another s4 model and try it, for the sake of desperation.
cheers
Hello folks,
i have a very strange thing with the display of the new S7 edge from my girlfriend. And after reading arround 4 hours in the forum, i´ve decided to open a thread and asking for help.
I will try to explain what happend. The phone ist brand new and arrived today. After unboxing we running the first start process and during this i realized that the display had a "dead zone". In this zone it is nearly impossible to type or click someting. The rest of the screen works as intened.
After the start process the Nougat update runs and the issue is still there. While scrolling it looks like a lag, but there is no lag only these wired deadzone.
Can someone give a hint what this can be or is this a hardware issue?
I have 2 vids from the issue, but im not allowed yet to posted it here.
Thanks in advance so far.
You have dead pixels, which is not uncommon.
It is a screen issue which can be repaired by replacing the screen under warranty.
You just need to take it back to where you got an show the problem, they will either repair or replace.
I think he was refering to dead zone on digitizer. It doesn't register touch on some areas.
Type *#0*# in dialer and u will be prompted with test app, U have the display option there. Tap on it and U will figure out the rest. If it doesn't draw on that area of the screen, the digitizer isn't working and take the phone to samsung if it's under warranty.
