Everlasting x10 - Lollipop mod may came soon. - XPERIA X10 General

-- It's now time to speak a little about android Lollipop. --
I'll buy an external charger for my x10 because my USB port is dead.
I have the time because lollipop release is in 1 week.
Then, i'll install CM10 on my X10, and i will prepare a Lollipop mod for our phone. I can say it wont be nice as the Kitkat rom, because implementing kitkat feel on Jelly Bean is easier to implemente material design on Jelly Bean.
You will have news about me very soon

Cool but no word there about the ARC S
we have 512mb ram , so our phone are have suport
I think developer responsible for CM should finished 9 version first, and trade on (use ?!) all goodies form arc's phone (like hdmi operate, good camera app ) and than start do something new. Few unfinished project isn't good for company and product...
hdmi ca only be fixed on cm10 !!
on stock ics hdmi is not suported but on jelly bean it is
so i think jelly bean will work faster then ics . It have some preformace inprovents
we will se when sorce come up , there is no sorce for jelly bean , i think google will relase it when upgrade nexus s to jb .....

[REQUEST] AOKP for Alcatel OT Idol 6030a

I know thereĀ“s a project of an AOKP ROM for this device but it was abandoned, so it would be great if someone can continue that ROM or do a new one to upgrade it to 4.1.2 at least, cause it is stock on 4.1.1, I would be grateful to enjoy at least the features of that version of android, I'm sure this device can totally support it D:

Android 5.0

Hi I've got maybe kinda dumb question... How long do you think will it take to build a ROM based on Android 5.0 sources after these sources will be available? (It doesn't have to be for our device just want to now how long it will take when the first mahdi, cm, pa, etc. based on Android 5.0 appears... ) Maybe 3 - 4 weeks? I have already forgotten how long took it last time...
I'm asking because my entirely repaired LG G2 had just arrived before I started writting this and I'm not sure if it's worth to flash custom ROMs based on kitkat...
On my old phone, which stopped getting updates after GB, it took about 2-3 weeks or a month-ish for the next android version to be flashable. So be patient, but I don't think it'll be too long, we have some great devs[emoji106]
Well just flash a kitkat ROM now. Since the official LG sources won't be avaliable before LG pushes the official Android L update to us (if it does), Android L ports (cm, pa, mahdi) will most likely be based on kitkat sources,
March, most likely. As it was with KK.
Edit: Meh, saw you're asking for official push from LG.

Android 5.0

Do you think we will see a stock AOSP port of lollipop to the S4? I believe we have to wait for the GPE edition to get it then it can be ported? Just curious as lollipop looks really good and want to give it a try.. Even if things are broken its nice to get a running preview
I'm 100% sure we will get it. Because the GS4s are going to get the touch wiz lollipop update sometime next year.
Well there's this.. http://www.idigitaltimes.com/samsun...-date-update-build-lrx02e-seen-running-394128

Possible? Porting Pac ROM 4.3 onto Z2

Hi guys!
When I realized that the KK custom roms don't support hybrid engine, I started looking into making a port of the Jelly Bean version of Pac rom (4.3) for the Z2.
Seeing how I don't know a whole lot about this type of stuff, I decided to do a bit of reading. As far as I understand it, it is impossible to put JB firmware on a KK based phone, and thus it seems we've hit a brick wall. Would someone please confirm/refute this theory (preferably in relations to Pac rom 4.3, and porting it onto Z2). Porting itself should be theoretically possible according to the dummy guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1941239), seeing how the Z2 has predecessors with the same (or super similar as far as I can tell) CPUs + same screen res.
I have also found threads originally posted for Pac rom 4.3 releases for mentioned models, however they seem to all have been updated to 4.4.4 + the 4.3 build have been removed.
Is there anyone who can tell me whether I've hit a brick wall or just a bump in the road, and if interested, also work together with me to build a port?
Thanks in advance!
