FreeGee compatibility? - G3 General

Hey all, I just upgraded my original LG Optimus G to the LG G3, and noticed that FreeGee isn't compatible with the G3. Is an update in the pipeline for compatibility? I'd love to backup my EFS before tinkering with the phone.

root and bump your phone (in original development section) then you will have working TWRP so can backup your efs from there

How will you be able to restore the backup on the second phone without root? Then there is also the problem of flashing the required bootstack on the second.
OK sorry my mistake, second phone will be rooted as well.
So what then?
what bootstack is?

The G2 still has a locked bootloader ...... in order the flash roms a exploit had to be found ....... a bootstack is basically a folder which contains a mixture of files which contains these exploits to bypass the locked bootloader ....... for example both Cloudy G2 and Cloudy G3 ask for the KK bootstack although they are lollipop roms ....... When flashing roms to the G2 we have to be careful to select the correct bootstack (loki vs bumpted, kk vs lollipop) or your phone will be bricked.

Custom ROM for LG G2 d802T India Version

Hello Guys,
I have a LG G2 d802T model with lollipop 5.0.2 installed and it is rooted. I am using this phone since 1.5 years and Recently the phone is keep on lagging. So I want to taste other custom ROMs. But while searching over the net and the xda forums, I found there are some difference between d802 and d802T and I could not find any custom ROM and the procedure to install for d802T version. So can you please suggest a few good and stable Custom ROM which works well in d802T version with the steps to install it. I am very new to the custom ROM stuff so a bit careful . I have heard changing from d802T to d802 makes more issues onto the phone so opted that decision.
Please suggest !!
I hope this thread will help all other Indian G2 users who are also suffering like me to find the correct custom rom for d802T version.
Cheers
I believe it's same with D802, because my friend had D802TR (Turkish variant) and all of D802 ROMs & kernels was working fine. You can count your device as D802.

Thanks for replying Ankara. But from XDA forum I have heard D802 variant is different with D802T. Also the Autorec software to TWRP recovery for D802 is not working on my D802T
Any Suggestion?

Flashify Issue LG G3 D851

Hello everyone, I have LG G3 D851 T-Mobile.
I was on 5.0.1 and wanted to install custom ROM and for this I needed to install custom recovery first so I used Flashify to install TWRP (twrp-3.1.0-0-d851.img) , installation works fine it says installation complete, but when I restart the phone it starts bootloop.
So I restored my phone back to stock (4.4.2), rooted and again repeat flashify process this time again the same issue of bootloop.
Can Anyone here help me in this matter.
Thanks
