Best performance settings for ICS ROM's on HD2

Hey guys! Been playing around with ICS ROM's lately on my HD2. Tried a lot of different performance options like Zram, Purging of assets Over-clocking and Under-clocking and etc. But for me no matter what I change, the settings does not improve nor performance nor battery life.
So tell me guys, do you change your settings from stock, does it help you improve performance/battery life, and if so write the best combination working for YOU!
Will be waiting your options guys on what setting works well for you (the whole layout please, performance stuff you toggle on/off, CPU Min/Max and governor), maybe your ideas will help someone new to ICS to improve even more on the awesomeness which is ICS on HD2
BTW: Wanted to flash a WP7.5 ROM cuz these little lags started to annoy me, but then discovered an AWESOME ROM by Zorua http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1783913 And was amazed by the speed of this build. Nice job dude made me reconsider going back to WP7.5 And a special thx for securect for his hard work with the kernel and KGSL support.
Use CPU tuner

Use CPU tuner. You are allowed to set options like " normal mode or mode while display is off" etc. it helps to boost the battery life incredible.

Mybe this is crazy but I'm actually looking for performance. My phone is near the charger all day but maybe this is crazy since i know HD2 is an old device but the little lag annoy me))

Recommended settings for x8 using V6 Supercharger & GDX028b.

Ok, just installed the latest (non test/beta) V6 Supercharger. It seems to have changed a lot of settings as it was 'doing it's thing', but, do I need to do anything else? Or does V6 Supercharger find a balance of improved settings when it installs itself?
There's a menu with a load of options. Which would be best for a rooted x8, ALFs kernel, odexed, on GDX028b?
Options 2-4 are '256HP' (MB?)
Options 5-7 are '512HB'
Options 8-9 are '768+HP'.
Which is best - I don't do gaming, phone is used as a phone, sms, camera, email and browsing.
Many thanks

+1. And are you on stock kernel? If you are, better use v8.
Sent from my rooted tomato
I am using v6,will play with v8 later.. thank for tip cascabel
You sure cant use any settings for 512mb if ram coz our x8 dosent have enough.

Many thanks for the advice.
Job done. Phone seems quicker, and have got between 90 and 115 MB free in running 'processes'.
Thanks

If you're using your phone only as a phone, sms, camera, email and browsing, then the balanced settings in the script is all you really need.
In fact, you may not really need it at all.
Custom kernel + Odex + Basic use of phone + Script = Overkill.
If you're doing it just for play's sake, then good. But if you really only care about performance at a basic level, you might want rethink your settings. You don't need that much free RAM.

Thanks for the advice - I just want to see how I can make the phone as efficient as possible - I'll try the balanced setting - 8,12,26,28,30,32 to see if I can notice/feel a diference.

Best kernel for stock lollipop

Hi guys,
Would love to know your opinion about the best custom kernel to go along with stock Android.
Please share your experience.
Stuxnet is good for me
I have been using franco's since I received my N4 and haven't really been attracted to anything else.

Ive heard it has some issues qith the latest r214 build. Would love to try but looking for it to be a bit more stable
if you are a one time flasher (ie you like to flash and not tweak the kernel or anything) - Franco, Mirage are suitable for you.
if you like to tweak the kernel, you can use - hellscore, Hellsdoctor or ak - its not that these kernels' defaults are not good, its just that they can be more optimised with profiles with synapse - for eg ones from gorilla_p (bit.ly/makostuff).
if you like kernel tweaking with dedicated apps - faux or Semaphore kernels.
i am not able to give you a more comprehensible reply because you haven't specified what feature you are looking for - more SOT or better performance.
more SOT - HD or ak
better performance - Franco

Thanks @Theodeus
I've heard a lot about hellscore and hellsdoctor.
I'm looking for a good balance between performance and battery life.
Ive heard that franco gives a good standby time as it only uses 1 ir 2 cores in stand by.
Do hellsdoctor also offer the same. Im using tricksterMOD now and don't mind a bit of tweaking as well

It's not up yet ? I have tested both boeffla and bluspark kernel, and boeffla kernel's gaming performance it pretty bad

It is not my target at all, as I am not interested in gaming.
However, with some settings changed people can do proper gaming too. I just say that based on feedback, as said, I could not care less about things like gaming...

post 2 I cannot find any link for profiles
Swell-V8
Hello everyone,
I finally managed to produce a profile that for now, I feel is perfect. There are several tweaks for fluidity and the like I'm sure the rest of you will enjoy. I made this for daily use however altering it for gaming or battery life should be pretty easy and require only a tweak or two.
This profile was made with external storage in mind so I highly don't recommend you use adopted storage with it.
Enjoy!

Future Plans
Further optimise zzmoove
Any recommendations on defaults is welcome
SwellBatteryV2
This profile tries to retain fluidity for basic tasks however may suffer when used for video playback, and daily use
SwellGamingV2
Pushes the device to the max, however battery life takes a significant hit
SwellModeration
Aims to optimise for and maintain performance for most scenarios however remains battery friendly

Just a suggestion, in your profile updates or so, please give screenshots of profile too, so that people can check if it has been applied properly... Also, a small description about how your profile works might give to knowledge to learners *just in case* ?

Hehe don't worry. Your app works perfect.... The main reason for me requesting to give screenshots was that some people want to apply only some parts of a profile and thus it will help them.
Sorry, if I didn't say it correctly.

L speed?

theres an app called L speed, says it can help with performance without sacrificing battery, im gonna try it out and let u guys know, so far after the tweaks my phone has running a little faster without changes to the cpu settings, cores or overclocking.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/tweak-l-speed-v1-0-02-02-2015-t3020138/post58608713#post58608713 maybe you guys can try it and post your results
I love this app, tends to help out in allot of ways.
-Battery Improvement helped save a little battery life, I wouldn't say dramatic improvement but you can definitely tell it improved.
-WiFi sleeper definitely helps with that lag between the phone waking up and WiFi coming back on(Only when "keep WiFi on during sleep" is on)
- Kernel Sleepers optimization
L-Speed is probably one of the few "tweaking" apps that really works, and has technical explanations as to what it does and why.
Most tweaking and battery improving apps are junk, this is one of the exceptions.
