anyone receive their order from Play Store?

I pre-ordered my Nexus 7 on Google Play store. Haven't heard a word. What about you?
This belongs in the existing "shipping" thread in the general category.
But to answer your question, I haven't seen any shipped orders for anyone that ordered from Google Play. Supposedly Google started to ship Google Play orders today according to twitter but I'll believe it when I see it.

Nexus 10 + Nexus 4 Backorder??

Hello All,
I got a nexus 4, which is backordered. As a result, my Nexus 10 which is on the same order, cannot ship until the Nexus 4 is in stock!?! Anyone else have the same issue with google?
Even small companies have the ability to split orders, I cannot believe that Google did not have the foresight to think of this. Anyone else in the same boat? Any info?
What other info do you need? They're not backordered indefinatly. It's just a few weeks. Google oversold. It happends. They'll treat you right.
Not sure if you fully read what I wrote. The Nexus 10 isn't backordered, the Nexus 4 is. Your post contributes nothing as (unless you work for Google or have insider info) everything you said is you guessing at info.
According to a Rep on the phone with me a few days ago, they were considering shipping orders separately. Anyone have this done recently? Anyone have any info from Google to share other than just "wait"?

I'm in the exact same situation as you are. I emailed Google to ask if they could possibly ship my Nexus 10 first, but they said no. Wasn't aware that they were considering shipping the devices separately, and I highly doubt they will. Just can't see them waiving shipping for two separate devices

[Q] When might you be selling your Nexus 4?

Hey, I'm probably going to upgrade to the Nexus 5, and I'm wondering around when people are planning to sell their phones. I was worried initially after the Nexus 4 price dropped, but now that they're sold out officially, I think price would/has gone back up. However, after the Nexus 5 debuts, I'm sure our phone goes back down in value, assuming they have the same price.
Of course, just trying to max out the resale value of a used Nexus 4, but there are a lot of things that are still uncertain, like whether the Nexus 5 will be out of stock for a month+ after debut like the Nexus 4 was, due to not making enough phones.
Still curious as to when you're selling your phones.
i have owned/own every nexus, i do not sell them after i upgrade. i get too personally attached to them
I will sell mine so I can get the new one. My girlfriend will kill me for dropping that kind of cash on a phone. "it's a phone" something she would say

I'm looking forward to Nexus 6 (2014) ahahaha
I guess google experience doesn't require a snap-800 for being smooth;
I'll wait the new generation qualcomm processors for even more power
Probably when the Nexus 6 or 7 comes out.

I don't think I will honestly, awesome backup phone at worst. I'll get the nexus (2013) when Google sells off the rest of their nexus (2013) inventory in preparation for the next gen nexus in 2014 unless the nexus (2014) is just mind blowing.

Google CFO Admits Nexus 6 ...

... production issues. Google hasn't been financially firing on all cylinders and the Nexus 6 snafu didn't help.
Google largely exited the business of making mobile phones when it sold its Motorola unit to Lenovo Group in October. But phones still caused trouble in Google's fourth-quarter financial results.
On a conference call late Thursday, Chief Financial Officer Patrick Pichette said supply problems with the company's new Nexus 6 smartphone dented Google's revenue. The Nexus 6 went on sale in November to good reviews. But Pichette said Google had "real issues" and could not get enough phones to meet demand. In early December, Nexus 6 supplies were running out online within hours, according to Android news website Android Authority.
Google has had supply problems with Nexus phones in the past, in part because of how and why it makes the gadgets..

Source please?
Thanks, but I don't think it's really an announcement, so much as a well-spread rumor on the Internet.
I've seen supposed screen shots of Verizon internal website timelines that show the Nexus 6 offering for 02/26/2015, read lots of reports on various IT and Android sites, etc. I guess this has been bantered about for 1-2 weeks or so.
Speaking with Reps recently, they told me that they are getting more questions about the Nexus 6, but that they have no official date to rely upon and that they - the folks on the front lines with Customers - typically don't get told about official availability for a new device until the day before it happens.

There's a thread for this already
