Modern Combat Blackout Performance! On RaZr M - Droid RAZR M Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Yup! RAZR M is fully supported!.
Performance:
Lag : NO
Force closes: I have faced force close three time in ten hour experience
Controls: not difficult but if not that well as screen is small in vertical
Graphics: Good!
...
I have played this game on two devices Razr M and optimus G... Really man it's more enjoyable on RAZR M. It doesn't get any lag spike force closes, controls are easy! Game is awesome.. And is FULLY PLAYABLE on RAZR M.. Get it if you are thinking to get it!
I don't have tested controller but on touch its better then better!
Thanks

No not much. You don't feel heat. I am using official KitKat 4.4.2..

Hmmm..... Mine heatsup very much sometimes upto 111°F even while playing small games like highway racer. I am also on kitkat kkbl.
Sent from my XT907 using XDA Free mobile app

Hmm but mine won't get overheated... It reaches 106-110F after playing for an hour or so.. Its much but for heavy game its acceptable

How much battery depletes in one hour of gameplay....

Better drainage is Extremely high on KitKat.. You will loose something like 45-65%in an hour.

Huge drain during gaming?

I ve decided to play some games on my N4 but noticed very big battery consumption. I ve played 2 races in NFS MW and battery went down from 36 to 18... I am on CM10.1 with cm kernel. Tried faux one and huge drain as well.
How does your N4 behave during games?

It's a demanding game. There's not really anything weird about this. I always turn on airplane mode whenever I play a demanding game like NFS MW. Just turn off mobile data, Wi-Fi, GPS, etc, and your battery should last longer while playing games.
Is your battery drain when not playing games normal?
Yes its fine while not playing. Just gelt a bit dissapointed with the results after gaming. Well if thats normal, then i have to live with it

Try to play a demanding game on your laptop. See how fast your battery drains then . It's normal.

Now playing 2 races and draining 18% doesn't seem so bad anymore does it?
If you use faux and his app try:
1. Eco mode and under clock(1.134ghz), Under volt
2. GPU 200
3. Turn off data, lower brightness
Those are settings I use got NFS.

Liquid smooth and Franco kernel

Fairly new to all this but installed both the above and hasn't made much difference.. Any ideas please.

We need more information besides that single screenshot. Have you checked your wake locks? Do you have any apps running in the background that it's not suppose to? Any rogue apps? How is your service?

That's looking normal to me. By the looks of it you have had over an hour of streaming music. So constant data connection and media service use.
I use paranoid android and Franco kernel and here is my usage.
Note I only use light web browsing and medium xda usage
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
music will kill the battery via media server
i would love to use my phone as a music player but since it drains so quickly i've resorted to using my ipod and just left music out of nexus 4 for now.
without music and only internet use, email, texting, some minor games here and there (pinball, super hexagon, some GBA games)
i get at LEAST 20+ hours and about 3 hours screen on time consistently
I didn't actually steam any music it was all stored locally from Spotify but your correct music does seem a killer. Just to be sure I had liquid smooth installed and after a few days applied the kernel. I didn't do a clean install of everything would this have made any difference?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
No you don't need a clean wipe to flash a new kernel
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Oh Okay thanks that's good to know.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Hi all, those who are running liquid smooth, could you tell me, if the are profiles (as in CM) presented in this ROM?
Screen on time is the main battery drain, if you've got upwards of 3 hours with a full charge (depends greatly on brightness levels) then you're doing ok.
Im running the same setup (LS + Franco) and have my screen brightness on 100%.
I get between 3 and 3.5 hours of screen on time, which is fine for me.
On stock i was getting 2 hours.
I use the same combo and I my battery drain is fine
Sometimes you need to go through a few full charge cycles to tell the difference
I'll keep you updated as I go... Thanks for your comments

I have said it in other threads, I have no heating issues here. When I play CPU/GPU intensive games it certainly gets warmer but nothing outrageous or worse than other phones I have had and it doesn't get uncomfortable to touch. I certainly don't need to power it off for it to cool down, that sounds worrying to me.
Then I think I have to contact the service centre...
And should go fr a replacement. ...
Sent from my GT-I9500 using xda app-developers app
If I were u I would certainly get a replacement which I did and my second s4 is fine even wheni play intensive games it does not get hot like my previous s4 use 2 do

Mine gets warm when playing games or GPS but never hot hot hot
If you are at home screen and its hot makes sure GPS is off and go into task manager to make sure nothing is running in background!!!

thats normal. not even close to overheating, especially while being plugged in. thats even cool compared how warm you can get playing some really intensive games and being plugged in.

Note 3 N900 gaming performance

Does everyone phone over heat and lags in games after playing more than 3 min with the phone on KitKat, or is it just me?
Edit: After trying to Factory reset the phone, it really gets hot and I can't touch it....

I'm currently running 4.4.2 rooted, custom rom and custom kernel. But even before I rooted and went custom it was fine.
Now please understand I play alot!!!!!! I also use a bumper type case and still have not noticed any issues with game play. Except for some, not excessive, heat with prolonged gaming.

Thanks.
I've read that thread twice, tried to disable the Samsung DVFS, tried formating the phone, still no luck.
Right now I've played the amazing spiderman 2, and the phone got so hot I could not touch it for about 5 min and lags continue...
Is there something us, the users, can do with it?
I remind you I have a N900, 4.4.2...
Thanks again for your help and time!

Hhhh it's ok man, no harm no fault.
Yes, there are another games such as :Frontline 2 (that's free if i'm not mistaken), PvZ2, Real Racing 3, FIFA 14 etc etc...
In my opinion, I don't think it's the games problem, nor the Developers behind them. I think it's the KK problem... In 4.3 I didn't have any of those issues.... Shame I can't downgrade...
What rom/kernel you using? I want to try that since I already voided my warranty a month after I bought the phone and the shi**y Uncle Sammy ( ) wasn't gonna take responsibility for he's problems...

OK I'm downloading front line 2 now. When how do you notice the lag?
Regarding heat issues if I play pvz2 for a prolonged time then it does get hot. Not as bad as my old hd2 used to get when I literally couldn't touch it. But it does get hot mainly noticeable from the screen.

It gets hot after about 5-6 min of play, I can't touch it after 10+ min.
In the Amazing Spider man 2, I can't touch it after 5 min.
Real racing 3, after about 6 min.
And so on, so on...

I have also noticed that when I activate Power Saving Mode with the CPU Underclock, it's not getting hot very quick, just warm...
OK I've tried that game, front line 2, for about 10 minutes. Got bored with it tbh. So moved onto playing asphalt 8 then pvz2 for a good half hour.
Now the screen does get warm/hot but not so that I can't touch it. I noticed zero lag.
It is possible that as I'm using a custom kernel that has had the governor settings altered that this has under clocked/volted my phone so it's less noticeable than yours. Of course this is a balancing act if you under clock it too much it could lag. If you over it it'll heat up too much.
