Anyone recommend a reputable online dealer that has the SGS 2 and at a competitive price?
Amazon and Newegg both have it around $575...
Anywhere else that is as reputable?
I got mine from expansys usa the first week they were out in UK and available in the US, you can save a few bucks and they are reputable in my book (this is my only transaction with them but you can read on your own)
a lot of us that bought the international SGS2, got it from Expansys-USA.com. worth a look.
If you buy the phone in the U.S. (from anyone, regardless of what they claim) it'll have no warranty as Samsung considers any product purchased outside its country of intended sale "grey market." Expansys-USA gets around that by sending the phone back to the UK for their U.S. customers should it need repair under warranty. You can also buy from Clove and Hantec in the UK as both ship to the U.S. It's $612 delivered from Clove right now and since it's purchased in the UK it retains the 2-year global warranty.
If not worried about warranty, then Amazon is pretty good. Also you can look at mobilecityonline.com from where I bought the white sgs2. You will get the new white sgs2 for $539 after $20 off coupon.

Expansys, my first order with them, but very happy with the transaction. Will use them for Galaxy Note.
Does mobilecityonline.com honor the warranty for an SGS II?
Or, is it only Clove and Expansys only?
I got mine from Expansys USA on June. Pretty quick delivery and no complaint about them.
I got my Sony X1 from Clove UK long time ago. Very good service and fast delivery too.
My friend brought one from Amazon recently but found it's being used (stated as new). So beware on for Amazon seller.
Great options mentioned so far. OP, if you are ok buying the locked AT&T version, it is $550 before taxes without contracts. This phone would probably be better "tuned" for the network, and would come with warranty.
P.S. sorry if my suggestion is too obvious

No. Technically, the phone bought at Expansys-USA doesn't qualify either. They get around that by shipping it to their branch in the UK should it ever need repair. If they go out of business (unlikely) your warranty would go with them as they're acting as an itermediary. The only way to get an "official" warranty is to buy the product from an authorized reseller in its intended country of sale.
title/subject says iT

Ordered Friday for 820$ from eBay, got it today.

Fedex says tmw before 1030am
price 434GBP = around 700 USd
I am in the UK - ordered from Expansys on Monday 31st around 15:00. They shipped it via DHL overnight express from France (via Germany) and it arrived before 09:00 the next morning. Price was £458.32 UKP plus £5.82 for next day delivery. On top of that was UK VAT tax of £92.83 making a total of £556.97.
It came with two chargers - one with a European mains plug and another with a UK plug as the stock was general European stock rather than UK specific. The only difference was that it started in German (easily changed) and some of the pre-defined bookmarks in the web browser were for samsung.de sites. Again no problem.
That's cheaper than anyone else I've seen selling it in the UK (including next day delivery before 10:00 and a spare charger!)

Am I missing something? The price listed on their website is £539.99 which converts to $863 USD. Is this right?

how did you get it for that price shipped to the united states? For me its coming out to about $740 or 464GBP
The Black 16GB Wifi Version is in stock at John Lewis's Warehouse (700 in stock as of Friday evening),
they haven't arrived in stores or on their website yet, but you can order in store for home delivery
or collection at your local John Lewis or Waitrose:
John Lewis Product code: 86010171
Price Listed @ £479
The white 16GB version is now priced at £449, so if like me you payed £479, pop in with your receipt
and they'll refund the difference (within 28 days of purchase, which we should all still qualify for).
best wishes!!!
Just got an email confirm from my eBay purchase... Even thou the seller said it was estimated that he would get it on October 3rd or around that time, I just got the confirm that it will ship this week?
Also, it's the white D6603
Sounds like a fake or used press demo.
The phone hasn't officially shipped anywhere yet.
That's what I thought but he does say on the site that it's not shipping till October 3rd time... He may have just printed labels for shipping? Seems like a respectable seller and I've got the buyer gaurentee...
FYI - the experia z3 is already for sale in Germany...
It's for sell in Germany but its more like a preorder as the phone is not shipped out until the 26th (most likely)
there are some retailers listing it "in stock" or as "arriving today". And these are retail units.
really? which retailers?
The Xperia Z3 & Z3 Compact will go on sale in Taiwan & India on 19 Sept
That's what I can see in Germany on the SonyMobile site:
Z3 = shipment starts on 26th September for 649 EUR.
Z3C = shipment starts on 26th September for 499 EUR.
The phone didn't ship the retailer purchased the shipping label.
@Raspster Which eBay Seller?
Msrp... He is seller.. He contacted me... It's auto generated shipping... It's not actually coming till beginning of October.
Mine was shipped out today by Vodafone (Germany) if I'm lucky I will get it tomorrow or even Monday! (With FREE Sony MDR-10RBT Bluetooth Headphones)
As per the title, Carphone Warehouse currently have the black, silver and blue options for £599.99 sim free - that's £50 less than Clove or HTC. Might be worth thinking about if you are considering preordering!
I was going to go with the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, but the HTC U11 seems to be the phone that the Xperia should have been so with the extra £50 off.... I've put my order in! ?
To share the love - if you tweet HTC UK (not sure about other regions) for a discount code then they'll give you 15% off if you order through their website - I saved nearly £100 as it brought the total price down to £551.65!
