[Q] EFS Possibly Corrupted, Getting "IMEI: null/null" - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Phone randomly rebooted itself (hotbooted) and once it came back online, I noticed that my IMEI was gone. Any solutions?
EDIT: EFS Backup was deleted last time I flashed stock. Forgot to make another.

[Q] Needing a little help

My wife has the ls980 and recently installed optimus de on it. Everything was great for over a week until this morning. The phone get very hot and froze. Upon loading back up it will not find any networks and it seems that the efs partition is corrupt as all of the device id numbers read 0. Then after a minute or two it will always lock and restart. I've tried to wipe and reinstall to make it run without restarting to get the pictures off of it, and it didn't help.
My main questions would be is would the efs being corrupt cause restarts, how would I fix the efs, and does flashing a back to stock file wipe the internal storage?

[N910F] Strange Problem after TWRP restore

Hey guys,
First of all sorry for my not perfect english
Well pre story: my mom and me using both Note 4 but my one has WiFi issues since day 1 and she told me today to change the phones bcuz she dont care if 1mb/s or 5.
So I did something i never done before -.- rooted her Phone, installed twrp and made a full backup via twrp(ticked everything active) so.. moved the backup file into my SD and restored on my Phone.
Everything went good but i recognized a lot of lag after first Boot AND WiFi dont remember the saved Networks. Turning WiFi off happens instantly but turning back on Takes around half to a whole Minute.
What i tried so far:
- factory reset via twrp
- factory reset via Standard cwm
- flashed Modem and bootloader with odin (cok1)
- reverted back to kitkat
- flashed clean 5.1.1 cok1 with odin
Tried something with .pit file while installing but didnt recognize any difference..
So.. May the restore file destroyed some specific partitions? I havent got any clue What to do next :/
Any help or advise ?
Maybe i shouldnt restore efs to my moms N910F?
Nvm solved after i restored my luckily made efs backup

Lost EFS folder (useless backups)

I fixed my previous problem (CM13 messing up the EFS partition resulting to touchwiz roms bootlooping) by formatting the EFS partition using EFS professional only to come across a new issue: the phone can't place/receive calls, reception is full but it just says it's not registered on the network. IMEI starts with like 3000 that goes on and on and on. What should I do? Is there any way to restore this? I'm using the N910C btw on it's stock rom.
I should probably add that I have a cm13 backup whose efs's works absolutely fine but when I tried to restore just that, it crapped out again (bootloop). Hence the title

Do I have a Corrupt EFS?

I can't figure out if I do so any help appreciated.
Everything on my Note 4 works fine except lags and crashes, only thing that has managed to fix that is the Wake Lock App but obviously it's training the battery.
The other issue I had was Private Mode not enabling which still isn't, and also WIFI was not remembering passwords so I used BuildProp Editor to change that Securestorage.support to falst from true and that fixed that.
Was getting the DM-Verity Failure issue whilst on stock unrooted so rooted it and added TWRP to fix that issue.
IMEI & Baseband etc... all showing up perfectly fine too.
Can't figure this one out.
I'm now rooted (thinking this would solve the issue) and on stock.
Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks.
Sorry for the extremely delayed reply, if you haven't already figured it out you probably do have a corrupt EFS. I've been messing with a refurbed unit I got for my wife off and on for months and finally just manually formatted /efs via twrp and rebooted. The stock rom rebuilt things no problem and the lag is gone. I know there was a problem with EFS as logcat showed a *TON* of errors from the SecureStorage package. After formatting the errors are gone. I made several backups via twrp and manually via tar just in case.

IMEI & Baseband unknown after OTA flash

I side loaded the N OTA on my 100% stock 6p. All went well and it booted fine, everything was good for over 24 hours, until i rebooted for the simple curiosity of how much faster the boot time might be. Well, after that boot, my phone wont read a sim card, the imei and baseband are unknown and all cell service is gone. I did a factory restore with no luck and have fully flashed back to stock MM twice now and the problem remains. Some googling points to a corrupted EFS partition. Any methods to getting this fixed on a 6p?
Thanks

Do you have a backup of your EFS partition?
Nope, didnt have a backup of anything, was running 100% stock. No root, no custom anything.
Funny how i rooted and ran custom recovery and firmware on all my other devices, but when i get my first nexus, i run 100% stock.

Any solution for this? I also have imei unknown, baseband unknown issue. I don't have an efs backup either. Also flashed stock rom, but it didn't help. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
