Hi, I'm getting an S5 soon and I was wondering if I can enable the ripple effect ontop the current lockscreen (pattern, fingerprint, etc.). I know I can do this on my S3 Mini and would like to know if there is an option like that on the S5 as well?
In short: (On my S3 Mini) I have swipe unlock first and then when I swipe to unlock, it takes me to the pattern lockscreen, which I need to do in order to unlock my phone. Is there such an option or mod on xda for the S5? Thanks in advance to anyone who helps or decides to create such a mod if possible

If you set a security pattern, then the custom rom's show that, instead of showing the lockscreen with data, and show the pattern only when you slide to unlock. That's how Sense does it.
Without that, what's the point of the lockscreen? You have to turn off security to make it useful.
Or does any Rom do it right?
The point of a lockscreen is exactly that. To lock the screen. If you set a pattern lock that becomes the lockscreen. Having to slide to unlock and then pattern unlock is redundant.

In cm7 you can adjust 2 layers of lockscreen settings... for example my Evo is a blank screen when locked.. you can draw on it any way you want but unless you draw the correct shape it does nothing... but that still doesn't unlock it.. I have it set so the gestures only turn on flashlight and sound.. etc... to actually unlock you have to press menu and then your greeted with a full keypad not just numbers...
Does anyone know a way to change lockscreen to work like galaxy S3?
I use PIN code as my security method, and in my old S3 you had to swipe first than insert the PIN code. But S4 doesn't work that way.
Any ideas or suggestions?
no swipe shows up on galaxy s3 there os just those numbers there as soon as lockscreen is on
I would like to change the stock lockscreen to something more appealing.
I use pin lock but want to have weather displayed, beeing able to use camera (preferably with the swipe gesture) and maybe also upcoming tasks.
Is there any lockscreen that supports this? (camera is optional if thats not possible with pin lock set)...
Problem is that with pin set you can no longer add widgets to make your own lockscreen, but I'm sure there are lockscreen replacements that can change this or?

I am just wondering if it is possible to replace the swipe gesture? i am using [ROM][N910C][6.0.1] Ditto Note 5 ROM v0.6 from Electron Team which the Fingerprint for lockscreen doesn’t work.
Hi everyone,
As you probably know, the Huawei lockscreen is really bad and outdated as notifications are not even "usable" like others lockscreen.
So i wanted to replace it by Next Lockscreen and everything worked well, except with the fingerprint scanner.
When i enable fingerprint, i can't disable the stock lockscreen anymore (sadly) so i have to unlock twice if i use the pin code and that's really annoying.
Do you have any tips to counter this effect ?
