So I installed omegarom on my galaxy s5 a few weeks ago,and I wanted to go back to original rom and I encountered some issues.
Whenever I try to flash original kernel, the phone just cant boot.
Even tried to install it via the OmegaRom installer (the original kernel) and it just wont boot up.
Tried factory reset, wiped everything and still....
It has any connection to Knox 0x1?
Thanks for helping

since those days my phone get bricked of fm kernel i have used odin, but since yesterday i am trying flash custom rom without luck ,flash it with cwm or recovery what happen is everything goes throw untill it comes stick to samsung text and animation ,Goes note Furter, done everything i think downgraded ,deleted, diffrent roms.,with odin on pc is only way to flash a new rom ., please help
ive only ever had 1 customr rom boot on me and that was chris x's rom, others just gave boot loops like you get
personally i have stuck to stock and changed the framework and ripped out useless apps via root explorer
Im using samsung galaxy s4 i9505 on 4.2.2 rooted
I tried to follow instructions on this site (google search "Galaxy S4 I9505 Gets Android 4.4.2 XXUFNA5 KitKat via Omega ROM" and choose the first link from ibtimes since i cannot post a direct link as a new member) to update to omega kitkat rom. in the site the first few steps instruct to download boot loader and modem and then flash it to my mobile after flashing and rebooting I got the message "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" in red and a sub message "set warranty bit: kernel" in yellow during the boot. Once my phone was rebooted I was unable to turn on the wifi. When i try to press the wifi in the notification panel it simply doesn't turn green and stays grey. Long press on the wifi and then manually turning it on also does not help it simply says wifi turning on but does nothing.
1) Did this happen because I flashed those bootloader and modem files? how can I fix this problem? please help (I have tried restoring many many times from my nandroid backup and even tried factory reset with wipe from recovery)
2) Other problems I'm having is in download mode my kernel shows 0x1 so did this also happen because of flashing those files? any fix?
3) Under settings my baseband version is also showing unknown after all this occurred.. why could this be?
P.S. I had performed a nandroid backup initially when i had a clockWorkmod recovery version 6.0.3 of course when i performed the backup my system was perfectly fine without the kernel message during boot. then i installed the philz touch 6.0.4.6 custom recovery as per the instructions on the website above and used that to install the kitkat omega rom after the reboot it got stuck on a boot loop so I had to do a restore from recovery. All my settings/data/apps were restored but the kernel message was still there during the boot and my wifi stopped working.

i had the same problem as you thou i already had a kitkat rom on mine and after i done a update to a new version of the same rom my wifi wouldnt work. I spent 3 weeks trying different fixes to no avail and had to by a new board which cost me $200.
i really loved the kitkat Roms and are at the point now of wanting to know what steps i should take now to install and not end up where you are again.

EDIT: Sorted it, flashed TWRP in odin and it worked this time.
I have rooted my i9505 (5.0.1 stock Baseband i9505XXUHOD5) using CF-auto and Odin but I cant install a custom recovery. When I try in odin it says pass but then gets stuck in a loop at reboot. When i go to recovery its still stock and the only way out of the loop is to factory reset abd then try again. It looks like a Vodaphone Germany rom thats been unlocked installed. Any ideas please? I want a custom rom to get rid of the Samsung crap in the background.

As you have solved it,like this you open this thread for nothing
And also, CWM and Philz are outdated and out of support(only for this device), always use TWRP[emoji6]

As the title says.... I'm trying to get everything back to close to stock
I have tried to install the file "I337MVLUGOC4_I337MOYAGOC4_I337MVLUGOC4_HOME.tar.md5" from sammobile, which is suppose to be the stock 5.0.1 Telus rom.
It installed and sorta worked, but at the welcome screen I am greeted with basically all the g-app services and such crashing repeatedly....
I have also tried installing "AOSP-5.1.1-20160410-jflte" with TWRP and it gives me a bootloop....
Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong??
EDIT: So, a second attempt at installing the stock rom worked. But now I'm running in to the no wifi issue.... Can't enable wifi
Flash any stock qb1 Canadian stock rom and perform a factory reset from stock recovery before letting the newly-flashed ROM boot for the first time.
So i was going to install a custom ROM on my g530h via twrp, and im new to this
I downloaded the file that the app asked me to, and acidentally flashes It as a boot, not as a recovery, now the phone just stays in the download mode, and I cant install the stock ROM with Odin, It gives me a different setor every time
Please help
What file did you actually install like what model was it exactly for ?
Post some screenshots of odin.
try watchin this.. i also have the same problem this week but i find the ways to fix it just flash the stock firmware of g530h xcu using odin so i use the xcu phil firmware which is 4.4.2 and it works.. just flash the stock firmware.. hope it helps...
Do you have any other method because when I rooted the divice I deleted some system files then lost USB connection with pc I tried may way to make it back like downloading the driver from Samsung nothing work and tried different stock rooms and custom ones all of them had the error 7 or md5 file not found by the the same thing happened with the os I made the boot to recovery by accident and lost the system .
