How do I know if my boot loader is unlocked?
I have a GT-19505 running 4.4.2 with Vodafone UK.

I9505 has no locked bootloader
You seem to be speaking about Knox bootloader, wich is not the same as a fully locked bootloader
First time you root your device you say goodbye to knox.

Hi,
You may be talking about Knox, which is very different from a locked bootloader! Check the Knox Q&A Thread on the stickies of S4 Q&A subforum to learn more .

The I9505 doesn`t have a locked bootloader, it is fully rootable if that is what you mean. Only some US carriers have the bootloader locked down.

I also have write protection enabled but rooted without any problems, even flashed custom ROMs and kernels.

Yes, I do. My Galaxy S 4 is the GT-I9505, with the XXUAMDM firmware...
Just flash from djembay thread rooted ME2 firmware whit Odin.But wait 5 to 15 min will work

I was under assumtion bootloader is unlocked unless you hav at+t.
We have custom recoverys and custom roms that boot.

I9505 is the quad core version of the s4
I9500 is the dual quadcore (octacore with littleBIG architecture)

@OP: you have to press F8 while booting, if you'll see the options, then ur bootloader is unlocked....

The bootloader in International i9500 S4 is NOT locked. Only the AT&T S4 is locked.
